I help people who are wrongfully accused of committing crimes such as driving under the influence, theft, burglary, suspended license, traffic tickets (speeding, no license, no insurance, failure to appear, etc.), assault, battery, drunk in public, forgery, possession of illegal drugs, etc. A large part of my practice is also dedicated to all aspects of family law (divorce, child custody, etc.) and landlord/​tenant (eviction) law.

History

Established in 2014.

Bartley Babcock founded his own solo practice because he enjoys going to battle in court on behalf of his clients who are often taken advantage of by the prosecution team and the justice system. Mr. Babcock works hard to turn over every stone when conducting his own independent investigation, thoroughly interviewing all potential witnesses and persons, and pursuing every possible defense in order to obtain the best possible outcome for his clients. Mr. Babcock attributes his success to having a genuine concern for his clients wellbeing in addition to being an excellent communicator.

Mr. Babcock attended USC where he graduated with honors and subsequently attended law school at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. Working at the Public Defenders and District Attorneys Office during law school ignited Mr. Babcock’s passion and commitment for fairness, compassion and justice. Because Mr. Babcock has worked behind the scenes along side with Prosecutors and Defense attorneys, he knows how both sides think and what the concerns and goals of prosecutors are.

Mr. Babcock believes in communicating with his clients to keep them informed of the progress in their case every step of the way and meanwhile working hard behind the scenes to get the best result possible so that little to no jail time is given in criminal cases.
