History

Established in 1993.

Learnet Academy has built a reputation as one of the leading training centers dedicated to offering specialized professional computer courses in operating systems and their applications. These offerings include Microsoft Certified Professional Programs and many other certification courses.

On January 1, 1998, Learnet Academy proudly announced the establishment of an intensive English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program. This brought to fruition a goal long held by the owner to extend the scope of Learnet Academy’s programs beyond domestic students to include individuals in need of English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL).

Learnet Academy has grown up to be a Higher Education Institute accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.

Learnet Academy is a great environment for students. The staff are very nice and helpful. The school is centrally located and have schedule options you can choose from to meet your needs. The professors have excellent teaching skills. I highly recommend Learnet Academy especially to international students who have English as their second language. They have great cerificate programs as well.

Best school in the neighborhood, they have excellent staff and my admin representative is terrific. Tuition fee is very reasonable and affordable, classrooms are well-​lighted and clean, and parking validation is available for students. Plus, the instructors are very professional and helpful.

I transferred to Learnet from another school about a year ago. Not only is the staff professionally trained to assist us, but they truly understand what it’s like because they are international students themselves.
They have programs that range from EFL to computer curses, and they also stared offering two Associate of Arts programs this year.
The school follows an attendance and academic policy but they have morning, afternoon and evening courses that accommodate your schedule.
Unfortunately, I don’t drive, so I like that he school’s only a few blocks away from the metro station on Vermont and close to many bus stops as well. If you’re looking for convenient, professional, clean and accredited school… look no further!

Friendly and helpful staffs
As Melissa mentioned, If you want to know the basic computer skill, Learnet is the place. I’m not a computer person so coming here benefits me a lot. You may think that knowing office is unnecessary. But when it’s getting complicated like excel or access, having someone guiding you is really helpful.
Now I’m in another level of learning the internet basic. It’s much more difficult, however, my teacher is very dedicated. He pays attention to everyone in the class and try to help us understanding all the difficult parts which I really appreciated.
