Mail and More On Hollywood

Mail and More is located right in the middle of Hollywood, which makes it very convenient for those who are in this area. Despite being in this flashy city, Mail and More does a great job at maintaining a personable and welcoming feel to the store.
The staff is why I like this place so much. They are always so friendly! I give them a big applaud because the job seems tough! They are always on time and have a great system for notifying you when you have a package via email.

Just want to say, these guys do a good job, especially Julie. She’s always helpful and attentive. Thanks again for all you do.

They are always so rude and speak to me like I am inconveniencing them. They get the job done I suppose, but the attitude is unnecessary.

First, I owe Michelle a big apology. I was a total crap face for blaming her for notarizing a fictitious business name application improperly, when it was I who actually made the mistake.
I am normally a very kind person and I feel really guilty for the way I acted in front of Michelle and her customers.
Amidst my tantrum, Michelle managed to address my issue and get to the bottom of the problem very tactfully and professionally — all the while staying calm when I was not.
She clearly has good problem solving skills and does good work and handled THE SITUATION elegantly and methodically, even trying to crack jokes to calm me down.
I run a retail operation as well and don’t think I would have been able to handle an irate customer this well.
I sincerely want to apologize to Michelle and anyone who might have witnessed my tantrum lol ;-). No matter how much we work, how much of a rush we are in or how stressed out we are, kindness goes a long way and I temporarily forgot that for the first time in a while.
Michelle reminded me what a little kindness can do and took care of my issue, thanks and I’m sorry ;-)

I’ve been going here for over a decade for shipping needs, mailbox rental, passport photos… The owner is almost always there. She’s extremely knowledgeable and her staff is always helpful and friendly. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

when i relocated to hollywood, california i opened a mail box here. they offer so much more, passport photos taken in the store, ups or u.s. mail shipping choices & much more!

These guys are awesome! Sally and her crew are friendly and extremely helpful. They send email notifications when packages arrive and offer easy shipping options. Which was awesome because my apartment had exactly none of that. Would recommend to my friends.

If I have any packages to mail, I always bring them to work and then walk to Mail and More to ship them. The entire staff is really nice and super helpful.

My family and I have been clients here for years. The amenities are too numerous to mention. The staff is professional. Julie is very precise, kind and friendly, her accuracy is always 100 percent. Sally, the owner, is exceptionally friendly, accurate, efficient and always goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and makes time to be friendly and see how you are doing amidst working efficiently. My family and I love being clients here.

Unfortunately experienced awful customer service while I chose to have a mailbox in this location. Terrible parking situation with some weird people hanging out in the parking lot, NO street parking whatsoever. I had already paid in advance so there
was nothing I could do about it… the long haired woman even told me once she threw away my junk mail once I inquired how come I had no mail. WHO does that???

This place is great. They were efficient, nice, and friendly. I will make it my go-​to place for all my document shipment and prints.

I have been going to Mail and More for years now. Even when I lived in Santa Monica. For some reason, I just feel more comfortable with them. They are efficient and the customer service is on point. To me customer service is key to any business and they have what it takes. Plus they always have tasty candy to munch on while they take care of your mail needs. win win.

I would be LOST without Sally and her fantastic team. I’ve been preparing for a lawsuit and seriously they have been so helpful and patient with me they’ve been a saver! Even letting me receive faxes and calling me the minute it arrives! Always has a smile on her face, and I’ve seen some DIFFICULT people I’m there that seem to just not understand how different potage services work (probably the few leaving the one star reviews) she always takes the give every customer her full attention. I can’t remember their names but her two female employees are so sweet and such a perfect extension of Sally, they clearly take the time to train their employees to be well rounded.
The store has everything you could need, from shipping boxes of all sized to a variety of birthday cards and even funky packaging tape!
Why would anyone EVER go to the post office when there’s Mail and More!!!

They have the worst customer service! Sally should not be employed by anyone. She is rude to her employees and customers! I will never go back there for anything.

I went to get boxes for shipping some small items and the lady at the counter was very nice and very helpful. She took the time to find the right box and for one of them tell me how to cut it down to be a snugger fit. The price was not bad, sometimes I’ve been shocked at the price of a box. The place was semi busy but it seemed like everyone was getting helped fairly efficiently. There is parking which is nice.

I want to go mail a package here the first time and they wrapped it and taped it up for me for free and they were quick and easy and cheap the second time I went here I was doing an international package and they actually referred me to another post office because they said it would be cheaper the fact that they were honest makes me want to always go back to them

I really wanted to like this place. But I ended up not enjoying coming here — I always left stressed out when doing business here. Such a disappointment. In their defense I realize running a shipping business is like sticking needles in your eyes every day – but maybe it’s time to either take a personal enrichment course so that you can come back to your customer-​service-​heavy-​career refreshed and ready to truly serve customers’ needs, or maybe find a new line of work. I took my business elsewhere where I feel genuinely welcomed and receive help with my shipping and printing needs without feeling like I’m putting the proprietress and other cranky employees out.

This place is such a rip off. Really??? $ 13.35 for a 20 pack of US stamp which should only cost $ 9.80??? I was stunned. I would not wanna go there again.

I sort of understand the 1 star ratings. but this place (as far as I’ve needed it) has really helped.
Pros: Convenience. Does a LOT of things in one stop. The owner is pretty funny and loves to talk. Get her talking about what the Blvd used to be like and she’s got some hilarious and random stories. I got notarized and fed ex’d for reasonable prices.
Cons: Parking lot is tiny. Not fun if it’s crowded. I was charged $ 1 without her telling me for a tracking email sent to my email for my fed ex shipment. Nothing terrible and the service is actually pretty convenient. But still, she shoulda told me.
Overall, the 1 star ratings (in some cases) probably didn’t understand that the owner was just trying to be funny and start a conversation.
If you need something fast or want to do a bunch of things and are in Hwd, this is a good spot.

I’ve been a regular customer of Mail and More on Hollywood since 1997. This includes box rentals, using their notary services, passport photos, packing and shipping, and just about everything else they offer including occasionally buying candy bars from the display on the counter. Sally Kim, the owner, is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ditto her staff.
One of the things I particularly like about Sally is that she closely follows postal rules, and the procedures for notaries. While this may be a bother for some people (including some who wrote reviews here), I appreciate her meticulous approach because when she is receiving and sending packages, notarizing documents, and so forth… it’s important work on my behalf. Sally is representing me in business. It makes me happy to know that I can rely on her. I benefit from her attention to detail.
The prices at Mail and More on Hollywood are reasonable. Box rentals have 24-​hour access. The service is gracious. The location is convenient. And in 17 years, they’ve never lost any of my packages. I recommend them completely.
