History

Established in 2006.

Mimi had been reading Tarot for over 30 years for friends when she was spotted in The Bodhi Tree Bookstore lecture hall by one of the best known psychics in the US: Hans Christian King. He encouraged Mimi to become a professional psychic-​medium and spiritual healer.

Since then, she has studied at the College of Psychic Studies in London. Prior, she studied energy healing in Paris with France Blanchet, a variety of spiritual techniques with the healer Marsha Weiss in L.A., and various para-​psychological talents with a group of hypnotists, also in Paris. She did grad work in Counseling Psychology in the early 2000s at Pacifica Graduate Institute of Santa Barbara and at the then-​new Barron University in their Phd in Integrated Healing program which met on the UCLA campus.

Mimi Seton comes from a background in Performing and Healing Arts, working in 5 countries and winning over a dozen awards as a composer ~ which is, really, a form of Mediumship. She has been psychic from childhood and was examined by scientists twice ~ once at Harvard University at age 17. She studied Psychology in graduate school, focusing on Cognitive therapy, Dream work and Gestalt. She sometimes uses these techniques in her counseling sessions.
