This little pharmacy has pretty bare shelves, but it’s got the basics. Sure CVS is just up the road, but I don’t want to go to CVS. I want to go to Ping On. Call me old fashioned but I’m still a fan of small-​business Pharmacies.
That being said I didn’t actually buy any medicine or have any prescriptions filled. What made this place A-​OK in my book was that I went all around Chinatown looking to buy envelopes, also hoping to avoid CVS or the USPS (both of which aren’t that cheap when it comes to envelopes). Nothing doing! Then I decided one last ditch before I went to the post office — Ping On Pharmacy. There they were, sitting in the recesses of a shelf that had more unopened boxes than merchandise on it. But they were envelopes! Security envelopes, at that! And only 1.99 for 80!
Two thumbs up.
