friendly, fast and professional.
They initially helped me a in a jam with my personal laptop.
It was later in the afternoon, and they jumped through hoops to get
me and my laptop up and working again.
My business was stopped because I could not access needed information.
They really saved the day, and at a more than fair price, too.

Needed some simple help with my laptop. They spent 15 minutes right away, but. We could not solve it. I offered then $ 5 for the time but they would not take it. Will return anytime I need help, this is a great local business!

Kevin and his crew are great guys!
I have brought to this place both, a Windows computer and a MacBook Pro to get it repaired.
He repaired my computers at a fraction of what other places would charge me.
Like their business name suggests: they are speedy!

I have lived across the street from this location for over a year, never thought I would have a need to visit though. I’ve had a MacBook Pro for over 4 years that I was ready to trade in for a measly $ 200 to get into a newer once since my current Mac had a defective battery that swelled up and almost broke the track pad. Not only that, my Mac’s hard drive was only half full however it ran slow as sh**. Before making a trip to Apple to spend over $ 1k on a new model I Unilocaled out this place and figured I would see what they can do. I spoke with Kevin (very nice, very professional) who assured me they could swap my battery and have my Mac running again. Once he noticed my Mac was running incredibly slow he offered me a solution for that as well (remove all hardware, back-​up, and start over with all new current hardware). I decided to go for it since they seemed like experts and if these fixes revived my Mac I would be spending only $ 230.
Couple days later they called me to pick up my Mac and I gotta say. THIS SH** SEEMS BRAND NEW!!! Just like the day I bought it almost 5 years ago my Mac is bad ass once a again, with my photos and music I wanted them to keep! Long story short, this place is awesome, do not over look them, these guys are great at what they do!

Update. I went back to Speedy Computers this afternoon and looked forward to seeing my favorite computer guys and the cool century old wood plank floors they have in there. Today I had to address a battery that is getting old and a few hiccups that I needed someone to look at. Danny is a calm guy and listens well and addresses the problem I was having with my browser in about two minutes, after I had stayed up for hours trying to figure it out and assumed it was a virus. There are plenty of people who could have said it was a virus and charged me the price to remove it, and I wouldn’t have known the difference. Kevin the owner showed me how to make things easier to operate on a different browser that I had begun to use and had some problems. They replaced my Toshiba battery with exactly the same one for a very reasonable price. When I move out of state– I’m worried about how I’ll find another computer repair that I trust and is such a pleasure to do business with. Also, there’s always parking on the side street and Kevin’s always nice to my dog. Great shop. Great guys.

These guys are great! They did a great job of alleviating my fears about what might be the problem and explained the couple options I had to fix it. They were able to repair my laptop at the quoted price and within a day. If I ever need a computer repaired again, I’ll come back to these guys.

My computer crashed recently and my school project was on there… I thought I was going to be screwed but luckily the gentlemen here were able to retrieve my information including my school project! Thank you guys! You guys are a life saver!

These guys are GREAT! They were honest about what we needed, did not try to «oversell» anything, delivered on what they promised and did great work. Our business is now much more efficient than we were and for much less than what several other computer vendors quoted us. I would highly recommend their IT services to anyone.

Just got my laptop back. Looks as good as new. Great service. They called me with every step of progress of repairing my laptop and they got it done before the estimated time. It is by far the best laptop repair in Los Angeles !!

My 2008 MacBook screen had been broken since last October. When I called around to a few computer shops in my neighborhood they acted like it was an impossible feat to repair the screen — not in stock, hard to come by, and at least $ 300 to repair –one even told me to buy a used computer and to not waste my money fixing the screen, on my otherwise perfect computer.
Recently, I was referred to Speedy Computer Center by a friend. I called and received a quote of only $ 185.00 to repair the screen, and was told it was most likely in stock. I went to the Wilshire/​La Brea location on Thursday at 11;30 am, and my computer was ready by 12:30 pm that same day. These guys, Danny and Kevin are amazing! My computer is like new, and the cost was even a little less than what they had quoted to me over the phone. I will never go anywhere else for my computer repairs. I hear they also do house calls if you are too busy to make it to their store.

Today our office needed a few urgent fixes ASAP —
Spoke to the owner/​manager, Kevin, who courteously and quickly scheduled an on-​site appointment for us.
Danny, the technician, showed up at our office within 90 minutes and was done with all repairs within 2 hours. Unlike other technicians our office has dealt with, he didn’t ask us 200 questions about our current/​previous internet set up, connection speed, service providers details etc etc etc. He was resourceful and experienced enough to figure things out on his own without asking us unnecessary questions/​wasting our time.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED — If you want a quick, easy, painless, and knowledgable/​professional I.T. job done, call these guys!!!

This place is the best!!! Excellent customer service, all of my questions were answered thoroughly. My girlfriend needed to back up her data and ordered the external hard drive. The technician backed up all of the data to her USB and also cleaned the keyboard for her. Not only that the computer looked brand new, he also got rid of a virus that she had! As a result, her computer is MUCH faster. Talk about great service!!! Kevin and Danny know what they are doing. I can’t say enough about this place. Amazing :) thanks guys!

This place sucks. They are a scam. I went to have protection put on my computer and the protection failed. I took it back because my computer got a virus and he wanted to charge me for removing the virus that shouldn’t have happened anyways, since I had just paid them over $ 185 to protect me. I had to pay because I didn’t have another computer place to fix my computer. My computer went out on me another time and again I hadn’t found another computer repair place that was local, so unfortunately I went back to see if they could figure out what the problem was and why my computer wasn’t turning on. Kevin (the owner) said it was the motherboard and that I would have to replace the mother board, which is really expensive. He then suggested that I should just purchase a new computer from him (a lap top). I declined! I didn’t trust his advice and I’m glad I didn’t do it! He is always trying to sale you something. He will tell you that your printer isn’t repairable just to sale you his printer. He’ll try to sale you a cable if he could. I would steer clear of them if I were you. Me and my bestfriend consider them to be a scam! and they rip people off. They will tell you there is a problem that can’t be fixed, just to rob you of your money! It turns out that it wasn’t my motherboard and I didn’t need to fix it, it was another device in my computer that needed to be repaired and the cost was just over $ 100. I would recommend going to Peter’s PC repair on Wilshire. Look him up. He is much more honest and has integrity. Speedy Tech Computer Center sucks!

attempted to charge me way too much. I was quoted way less. I like to call around so let this save you time. they acted like what i asked for was hard to do when it is almost as simple as plugging in a wall socket to see if a light works.

I went into their store in search for some help with my Toshiba laptop, since it started having problems after only a year of being in my possession. I was helped by Danny when I walked in, and he was polite, friendly, and seemed to understand what the problems I was having despite my laymen description of what has been happening with the laptop. I left my laptop with him to have it serviced, and was surprised at how promptly he got back to me with the diagnostics findings as well as advices on what I can do to fix and/​or improve my precious laptop! Needless to say, when I got my laptop back, it felt good as new :) I especially appreciated his honesty and professional advices, and how he took the time to explain what the technical terms and parts were when I asked them what they were. It’s really hard to find these days, when professionals actually care to break down the technical words for everyday person like me to understand :) Not to mention, he didn’t rip me off like some of the other computer stores did for me in the past!

I love a good place that always has good customer service. This place is the best place to get good service and get your computers/​laptops fixed. I’ve been having trouble with my desktop for quite awhile and didn’t really have time to pull apart the computer and take it to a shop. when I found out that this place actually goes to your house and fixes the problem for you and/​or if it needs to take a couple days to diagnose the problem they gave me the option of pulling the computer apart themselves and taking it with them to fix. Awesome! Less work for me to drive and pull apart the computer myself. once my computer was fixed I had a few questions about antivirus programs and they were always so friendly and answered all my questions. They were also very nice about customer service calls even in the evenings. because some places wouldn’t pick up after their closing time even… lame.
Anyways, i’d call them again if i had more computer/​laptop problems and recommend others to take theirs here too

It’s really refreshing when you come across a business that is not only good at what they do, but honest. My office server died yesterday, that is until Kevin at Speedy Tech came to the rescue. He was able to locate a part, and have it installed in under 24 hours at a reasonable price! I will not hesitate to recommend this place to friends. Thank you Kevin!

Speedy Tech Computer Center is the best place around. I was on my mothers computer when I was not supposed to be and got a virus. The computer crashed and I was freaking out that she was going kill me before I turn 21 in 21 days… lol. Point is I needed it done in less than 4 hours and they made it happened before she got home from work. They saved all of her work documents, photos and everything for her business. And in the end she still found out about it, but I am still alive!!!
They were really professional and really understanding about how I needed it done in such little time.

Took computer in to have faulty Inverter replaced. Got it home and it would not even boot. They tried to up-​sell me on a Windows Reinstall, which I refused because the laptop had been FINE when I surrendered it to them which leads me to suspect foul play that I cannot prove. Use Extreme Caution and Back Everything Up before surrendering your product!
