History
Established in 2013.
Competing and traveling around the country and Europe until 2009, Murisa planted her feet in LA where she worked for numerous ballroom dance studios. She found that it was easier and more conducive to the client to work independently because it allowed the cost to be more affordable, allowing the client to have more fun and to learn more. At the end of the day, it really makes Murisa’s day when a couple leaves having laughed, smiled and learned something new. She loves to be part of helping engaged couples find new ways of communicating through lead and follow and helping them release stress before their big day. Many couples have said it brings them closer!

Murisa Harba received her BFA in Theatre Studies from Boston University’s College of Fine Arts with a minor in ballroom dance. With countless years of vocal and dance training in addition to her theatre degree, she moved to Manhattan where she performed/toured in shows such as Sweet Charity, Amadeus, The Rivals and ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Roadtrip. She also directed, co-created, produced, choreographed and acted in an original play, White Rabbit, which premiered at the Huntington Theatre in Boston and completed a successful 4 week run at the Bailiwick Theatre in Chicago. Murisa also choreographed music videos for artists such as Derek James w/Top Right Corner Productions, Billy Bob Earl w/Four Minute Mile Productions and Grammy nominated artist, globally acclaimed DJ/audio architect Paul van Dyk. Murisa went on to compete in International Latin/American Smooth Ballroom around the U.S./Europe for 5 years before she landed in LA where she LOVES teaching ballroom to her students!
