Thai Friendly Massage

I had Eva work on me, and the massage was great! She really works on getting the knots out of your back and doesn’t skip out on any part of your body. I have no more pain in my body and I loved the deep pressure! I will definitely be coming back 100%!

Had shoulder and neck pain, so I tried out this place.
I had a guy masseuse. I requested a deep tissue massage, which in my experience, usually involves more pressure points and finding knots. He spent a good part of the massage on what felt like just skin pressing. I’m not sure how else to describe it, he would use his palms and what I presume was his knees, and just press down on various points on my body. At first, I thought it was just for relaxation in the beginning, but this went on for a good 20 minutes. He also used oil on my body, but again, very little pressure. It felt like someone was just applying lotion on me for several minutes. I finally had to tell him to apply more pressure, and then he used his elbows, but it didn’t feel like he had full control of the pressure he was applying because his elbows sort of slid off sometimes due to the oil.
I’m giving this place three stars because I asked him to focus on my neck and shoulders and he worked on them pretty hard. I may potentially have neck and shoulder bruising tomorrow, but at least I finally got the fingertip pressure I wanted.
Overall, I wouldn’t come back to this place. They get three stars for effort, but it just wasn’t very good.

Just got out of a great massage from Nana. I opted for no oil. Will definitely return.

Worst massage ever, I asked for a Swedish– thi comb more Swedish than thi. My masseuse the lady at the front desk gave me the worst massage ever. She kept ignoring my request to be more gentle, and proceed to do her own thing. I told her several times that it was painfull, and i would verbally, say ouch! She never got the clue, she also left me 3 times to answer the phone and greet a new client. A day later I had a big bruise on my left arm:(…

My friend and I have always loved going and getting massages, so this time around we wanted to try a Thai style massage. We came here on a Sunday around 4/​430p.
Once we got there we were able to get a parking space at once. Parking does seems a little scarce, I would say their lot has maybe 10 – 12 parking spaces shared with other stores around them. If not, I’m sure there is street parking available.
As we walked in we were greeted and asked to sign-​in, we came early so we sat in their waiting area (not that big). Their staff is extremely nice and attentive!
My friend and I both got the Thai-​style massage with oil ($ 45 for 60min)
We were walked to our room and then since it was our first time they told us to just remove all of our clothing except our underwear and then to lie facing down and have the blanket on top of us. The rooms have curtains separating the rooms together but my friend and I wanted to feel «closer» pre say, so we opened the curtain between our beds so it was a larger room. The ambiance of the rooms are very nice. They had their soft music playing and each room was decorated nicely.
Alright, onto the massage :)
So when you first start they lather you with some oil/​lotion mixture and then they place you how they would like. **Take into consideration that Thai styled massages are different than your average massage, they literally use their whole body ** I’m a petite sized woman about 5’0″ and 110lbs, my masseuse seemed just about the same. Once we began I could feel her using all her limbs, at one point she was on all fours on me and then gradually made her way to standing on me. It was a really cool feeling, especially because I never knew I could be stepped on before like this. (All of this is relaxing, don’t worry: D) It was amazing, she working with my whole entire back first, then moved down to working on my legs and lastly to my arms. Her distribution of weight was great, I never felt like she was going too hard. After that magical dance on my back she flipped me onto my back. I had makeup on my face and still had to be somewhere after, so me being purely vain (huehuehue) I told her to avoid massaging part of my face. She worked her tiny hands into my skull and then a little neck work. Then she sat me up in long sitting and did some work there. Lastly (my favorite part!) she had me put my hands woven behind my head and she swayed me in one direction and cracked my back and repeated the same method again to the other side. IT WAS AMAZEBALLS. At the end of my massage I felt the tension around my neck disappear and felt super relaxed.
My friend and I each tipped $ 10 at the end and they give you water before you leave. It was a perfect Sunday to say the least :) My friend and I will definitely be returning to try their deep tissue massage next! Review will be up once I experience it.

Needed a massage after work and they were super easy to schedule! Called at 7 pm and was in and on the table by 7:30 — no delays! Parking available outside.
The lady knew her pressure points and stretches. I felt AMAZING afterwards! Price wise it is very VERY reasonable and it is laid out clearly. I had the Thai Combo (with oil) and I can’t even describe how great I felt afterwards.
Do not judge it by the outside — trust me, this place is a gem. I will be back 500%.

My masseuse Nana was talented and professional. What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend this place. Just make sure to tip your masseuse they work sooo hard!

Very cheap and amazing! I floated out of the door after having a deep tissue Swedish style massage. I have a painful shoulder and it relieved the pain. I never thought a person walking on you could feel so good!

Thai massages are typically more on the firm/​aggressive side, so if you have a tight knot, sore shoulders or a bad knotted back that you’ve been dying to crack. this is the place to be! Nana was amazing and for 45 $ my bad back never felt so young and alive. I feel like I can do a cartwheel with this back, I feel like I can breakdance with this back, I feel like I can do a back flip (which I’ve never done in my life) with my back!

Unfortunately, my experience here was terrible. Their aggressive pseudo-​chiropractic moves dislocated a disc in my spine and stretched several neck muscles, leaving me in terrible pain. When I went in for my money back, they instead took me back to get a second massage. The second massage helped undo some of the damage and tightness the first massage had caused but then they tried to charge me.
I have to go to a chiropractor now and they won’t pay for it. They are amateurs.

I like Thai stretching massage. They did a great job to stretching my back and legs.

Came on Valentine’s Day. There was a bit of a surge in customers — I counted 6 people waiting. But they processed us all in order of check-​in. There are probably about 8 rooms, and when we left, there were quite a few massage therapists there, waiting for the next wave I suppose.
The massage itself? One of them was a man, and I somehow «lucked» out and got him. He didn’t have any difficulty applying enough pressure; my fiancé quite clearly heard my groans of «oww» and «oof» in the adjacent stall. Nonetheless, I still dosed off somewhere in between. $ 45 for a Thai/​Swedish combo massage isn’t bad. If anything, I suspect we were shorted a few minutes off an hour, not sure if that’s standard or not.

Never did I think that I would come out of this place with more pain than when I went in. I have received good quality massages from all over the world and this is by far the worst. Do not get the old lady that works the front desk, she will ignore your instructions on where you have pain and continue to do her thing that she wants to. I repeatedly told her over 5 times to only work on my knots and she disregarded it and continue to work on my legs!!! Really!!! When she finally did work on my knots, she used her elbows (and I asked her not to).

Great massage and great price! I had an hour long combo with oil ($ 45 not including tip). My body needed more, but only had time for 60 minutes. Really worked on all of the many knots I have as I live in New York City so my muscles are tight as hell. The owner behind the counter was very sweet who greeted me at the door. When I gave a $ 10 tip the masseuse was extremely thankful, as if she had never been tipped before. Tipping well goes a long way.
If I lived in LA I’d be back here every other week.

The BEST massage I’ve ever had! I initially wanted 30 minutes cuz I’m not a big fan of massages (but I really needed one today) and it turned into 70 mins, leaving me with a new sense of lightness when I came out. I’ve been to plenty of massages before but all of them were no comparison to this one. Nana was friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming to this one again. I HATE massages. I HATE it when people say «OOOOOHHH THAT MASSAGE FELT SOOOO GOOD.» Lies! Because in my experience a good massage always hurts like hell. And if I ever get caught behind enemy lines, all they’ll have to do is dig a few elbows into my back on the massage table and I’ll squeal like a pig and give up all the nuke codes.
Still as much as I despise massages I have to get them because I’m wound up tighter than a lump of coal in Cameron’s butt, and the reason these massages hurt so darn much is because I have so much tightness and dysfunction in my body that without some major pain, there won’t be no major gains vato.
And so there I was at Thai Friendly massage (which by the way is an awful misnomer because these massages are anything but friendly) getting beat up on the massage table like I stole a quart of milk. Eva made me squirm and wriggle in agony like a game 7 Clipper fan, she made me want to leave the one I’m with and start new relationships, but I laid there and did my best to pretend that I wasn’t the low pain threshold havin’ chump that I am. Oh the shame.
But somehow I survived it and came out loose, relaxed, and ready to sleep for three weeks. I would like to say that it was all worth it but at the time I just wanted my wonderful masseuse to put a pillow over my face and unload a full clip like Chris and Snoop on a rampage. Thank you Eva, five stars fasho.

I live in the SGV where there is a plethora of massage places, and I’ve tried most of them. Sure, you pay $ 5 – 15 but I never feel satisfied.
So I drive about 15 minutes more to this place. And it’s worth every minute and every penny. I usually get the Thai Combo ($ 45 for an hour) and these ladies are so good, they know where you’re tense without telling them. They ask you what level you want your massage done (soft, medium or hard) to which I always reply «hard» haha. In this case, they will walk on your back and up and down your body and while this may feel a bit uncomfortable at first, it’s so worth it. And they work on that part of your body until there is no more tightness or knots. They work on your whole body making sure you feel relaxed; it literally is an hour of heaven!
I’ve been here many times since last year and always leave extremely happy. You will leave stress-​free.

These are some little ladies who really pack a punch! I would not ever want to be in a fight with them — they look like my mamma or grandma, but they can make a grown man wince.
Innocuously located in a strip mall on the less-​glamorous part of Sunset Boulevard, it’s nestled between a laundromat and a donut shop. But didn’t your mama ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover? Immediately when you walk inside, it’s like you’re transported back to Siam… or at least modern-​day Bangkok. The massage tables are not on the floor (traditional Thai) but rather more like western massage beds, with a head loop for your face to rest in. Each room is sectioned off with exotic tapestries that just add to the feel. If you come with a special someone, they can make the rooms into couples massage spaces pretty easily.
The massages are much like other Thai/​Thai Combo massages. There’s a lot of stretching of limbs and bending of body parts. The women get up and walk on your back (trust me, this feels amazing) and go all crouching tiger, hidden dragon on those pesky knots in your neck. They work quickly, methodically, and efficiently. You feel like heaven afterwards.
They let you get dressed afterwards and then greet you with a bottled water to wash out all the toxins they’ve brought to the surface. Then with a polite smile and a bow, they welcome you to comeback anytime.
Best part: open until 10pm. I’ve never had an issue getting an appointment here. Nana is my regular, but everyone here is great!
Bester part: 60 mins for $ 45 for the Thai Combo. You can’t beat that!
