By far my favorite vendors for my big fat crazy Indian wedding. Jan, Alex Wayne and the whole cast and crew of White Rose productions are simply artists who have mastered the craft of capturing timeless emotions through the creativity of a lens, intertwined with Hollywood excellence. This is not your everyday photography/​videography team. I equate their professionalism, creativity and execution simply Oscar worthy. They work harder then you can imagine to help capture the perfect moment and do not think for one min that the price is too much — they are worth it and that much more. I found White Rose via Unilocal and I can honestly say, read these reviews and then go to Vimeo and watch their videos — I was sold the minute I did. Their videos and images are not cheesy like the typical wedding photographer. I told Alex and Jan — time and time again that I hired them because of just how editorial their work was. Passion creates excellence and that is is how they approach their art. Jan and Alex thank you again for working with MS and I. We researched and met with many videographers while planning our wedding and when we met with Jan from White Rose, we knew they were the ones we wanted to capture our special day. Jan was perfect to work with from the beginning. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help me understand the various packages they offer as well as help me customize a package that would best fit our needs (she provided a projector and screen for our same day edit package!). She was extremely organized and efficient, and most importantly, very prompt to answer questions via email or phone (which makes a huge difference when you are planning your wedding). When the big day was approaching, Jan told me that Alex would be our Director for the day along with a team of 3 others. Alex and his team were absolutely amazing. They teamed up so well with my photographer, making the time spent taking pictures with our family and wedding party so much fun and one of the most memorable moments of the day. The team came promptly on time when they were expected for the getting ready footage, they were all professional and focused. They created a stunning same day edit that my husband and I loved. We were already so thankful for Alex and his team, but were so grateful for the 4 minute video they were able to put together during the reception. It brought the room to tears and we received so many compliments on the video not only the day of our wedding, but even months after our wedding. Lastly, I just wanted to say how amazing Alex is. Anyone who gets to have him as their Director is so lucky. Alex was very professional and knew exactly what he wanted to achieve as far as all the footage and made sure nothing stood in the way of achieving the beautiful shots he needed. The drone shots he was able to capture were the most stunning aerial shots imagined. He was the best we could have asked for to capture our day.
We highly recommend White Rose to couples/​families looking for an amazing videographer. We continue to recommend White Rose to our own family and friends, and will continue to use them for special occasions in the future.

We had such a great time working with White Rose Productions for our wedding highlight video. Their whole team was super professional and worked perfectly with our photographers. The video really captured exactly what my wife and I were looking for.
We had some locations on a hillside/​mountain which was difficult to traverse and they really went above and beyond to capture some amazing shots.
I have recommended them to our personal friends so would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great videographer for their wedding!

When it comes to stressing out over your wedding budget, videos and pictures are where you would want to spend your money — stress no more, White Rose is who you must hire! I really wanted to take my time a write this review, making sure my words do justice to these amazing videographers, but words cannot describe the outstanding product they delivered. I can’t say enough about Alex, Jan and the rest of the White Rose Production team. Placing the most important day of your life into someone else’s hands can be terrifying, but I promise, these guys won’t disappoint. Their product should speak for itself, it does, see it for yourself, you won’t believe this was your wedding.
Creatively speaking; their talent, vision and attention to detail are second to none, a dream come true to work with! Our vision was just as important to them as it was to us! We met several times before our wedding day to discuss a timeline that worked for our schedule. Absolutely nothing was overlooked. Their production value is nothing short of remarkable, hands down. They offer various packages and add-​ons (drone, slow motion camera, etc.) to choose from and they will walk you through every step ensuring every need for that special day are met in every way. White Rose Production should be the industry standard, all production companies should strive to produce a product of this caliber.
Our final cut is sophisticated, imaginative and timeless… (You guys are truly masters of your craft) — It shows in every frame. From the music, to the lighting, to the Los Angeles backdrop, you honestly captured the meaning and the emotion of our wedding day … from every angle; you can see the love in every shot (18 years in the making).
They are so easy and flexible to work with and willing to go to any length to get the right shot. They worked tirelessly that day and into the night and never looking for shortcuts, for that we are so grateful. I wish I could share our video with all of you, it is absolutely stunning.

White Rose Production is honestly THE best. Jan and Alex and the team were so great to work with. From the beginning stages of going through the various packages to the end of the wedding night, it was all really easy and fun. Jan was really helpful going through the packages and helping us pick what we wanted. We had a really weird wedding day schedule so it was nice to have them go through the day with us and finalize the number of hours that we needed.
I can’t stress how awesome the White Rose team was. They EXCEEDED our expectations. We chose to work with them because of the proven quality of work from their photos and videos and how personable and comfortable we were with them but their work really was better than we ever expected. They have so much expertise and knowledge in what they do. Watching them shoot and execute their vision on our wedding day was just such a pleasure, you can really tell that this is their passion and they were just on point the entire time!
White Rose assigned a great team with us that day, Alex and his team were SO much fun to spend our special day with. Our whole wedding party and guests LOVED the SDE and thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Alex and team. We really missed them all when they left at the end of the night. One of our favorite and memorable moments of the day was when we were taking photos and video in front of the Broad and Alex was so focused getting this group shot that he fell backwards into a bush but still managed to save the shot, it was hilarious (btw, loved the inclusion into the SDE!) Alex had so much enthusiasm throughout the day, worked really well with our photographer, communicated well with EVERYONE, it was honestly one of the BEST decisions we made to have them help document our day. It was truly a pleasure to work with White Rose and I feel almost just TOO lucky to have been able to work with such an incredible, talented team.
It was such a stressful day in terms of time but you guys made sure to help us get the best shots in the locations that we liked. We all LOVE the work that you do, and cannot thank you guys enough for being so much fun, proactive, humble, unique, professional and passionate. Already thinking of what life events to come so we can have you guys help us document again, can’t wait to celebrate many more important days of our lives with the White Rose team!

Jan, Alex and the team are just amazing. Energetic, smart, professional, organized, humble and super nice and easy to work with. We searched so many places for a videographer and were not able to find anyone that matched our style until we found White Rose. Not being in Southern California it was not easy to select vendors but these guys made it an extremely pleasant experience. I met with Jan in Los Angeles and signed a contract right away and we could not be happier with our choice. She was constantly in touch with us during the process and addressed all our needs.
The result could not have been more astonishing. We have received so many compliments on our same day edit. No one could believe that Jan, Alex and the team did this on the same day.
I remember seeing Jan during dinner while she was holding a cup of tea and asked her if she had anything to eat. She said she was working on the same day edit and there will be time to eat later.
After the ceremony we briefly mentioned to Alex what type of shots we wanted. He quickly jumped on it and in less than 2 tries he recorded the shots and delivered exactly what we had in mind.

It has taken me a while to write this review but White Rose Production went above and beyond for both my bridal shower (photography) and my wedding (cinematography) last summer. When I first met Jan I instantly liked her! –She is so friendly, sweet, authentic, and easy to work with. I had been researching for months and months for wedding cinematographers and came across their wedding films on Vimeo and after going back and forth trying to decide, we just knew that we had to work with them. I went to meet Jan and without any hesitation, I instantly signed the contract upon our first meeting.
As far as my bridal shower, I had asked Jan (two months prior to our first meeting) if any photographers from her team were available for a few hours on the day of the event. Much to my relief, Jan was available and was able to accommodate us. On the day of the bridal shower, she arrived early. Upon her request, I introduced her to my close friends and family as she wanted to make sure to capture them in the pictures. During the event, she followed me around and I never once noticed that she was there. Jan captured the most amazing moments on camera, there was not a moment missed! The process was simple– I received my photos in less than a month and I absolutely love them!
As far as our wedding, Jan and Wayne arrived promptly. They were professional, thoughtful, creative, highly adaptable, and made us feel comfortable! They worked incredibly well with our other vendors i.e., photographers and our wedding planner. They were very considerate toward my husband and I and tried to make the most of the shots. They gave us a great deal of direction and made the filming seem so natural. I never once had to look around for them. They really care about their craft and they are highly talented. They did an wonderful job at the full length version of our wedding film. The editing, music, lighting, etc. were all put together extremely well. It is something we will cherish for the rest of lives!
I highly recommend going with White Rose Production for photography and cinematography. You will not be disappointed!

We worked with White Rose Productions back in June and it was a great experience! They were prompt with emails and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, they were getting all the right shots and always there for the big, funny, sweet, etc moments!

Wow, it looks like everyone covered what I wanted to say! If I could, I would give them an extra big shiny star. It’s really true, these guys are incredible and do awesome work! So without trying to repeat too much, I want to highlight something that I think really shows how AMAZING these guys are! They also have been awarded «Best Vendor of our Wedding» award! which I made up, but if it was real they would totally get it.
My wife and I did not plan on getting a videographer but decided to in the end after reviewing some of their beautiful work. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but their work really stood out to me among all the hundreds of wedding productions. We really liked the way they are truly able to capture the moment in such a beautiful cinematic format. Their work is clean, crisp, very professional. From our first meeting with Alex and Jan up to the day of our wedding, we felt super comfortable with working them. I really liked how they took the time to meet with us, know our personality, know what we liked and disliked, and figure out what kind of video style would match us. They got it down spot on.
****So on the day of our wedding in Malibu which does not have many routes to get to, there was a huge accident leaving all of our vendors stuck in traffic. Some vendors did not even bother to contact us and did not pick up the phone when we tried to get updates, others did take some initiative to at least tell us how far out they were, Alex not only called but was super PROACTIVE and jumped out of their car in the middle of traffic somewhere, and started walking over a mile with all his gear towards the venue. The rest of his team also took initiative and re-​routed somehow while some of our other vendors didn’t really make any effort or feel any urgency to try to make things work. We had someone pick Alex up somewhere accessible but I have no doubt he would have ran the remaining miles towards our venue if he had to! These guys are so legit***
Luckily in the end, all the vendors made it. Everything was running late, but their team was super awesome! We wanted to have a fun and chill wedding and their team was excellent in capturing and providing direction and guidance to make some really great shots. I felt really confident in their creativity and it made me feel at ease knowing something would turn out right, despite all the random mishaps. At the end of the night, the SDE was shown and EVERYONE LOVED it! All my family and friends were super impressed and commented that was the BEST wedding video they ever saw! We are so glad we made the decision to use White Rose Production. I’m so grateful for their hard work to produce something we will enjoy for many years to come. My brain can’t even come up with the words to describe how happy I am. I’m already trying to find/​figure out how I can use them again :)

My husband and I hired White Rose as a videographer for our wedding back in March. We chose to go with the Same Day Edit video since we wanted to show something during the reception. I highly recommend Jan and her team because they are truly the best. From start to finish, and even after the wedding, they have been professional, polite and prompt — and the finished product? I’ve probably watched my SDE about 25 times :) And my friends and family can’t stop talking about how beautiful the video turned out — from the audio clips they chose to use, to the camera angles, to the footage they captured.
Jan was sweet enough to come to our side of town to meet with us. She was super easy to talk to, took notes and even had a scanner on her phone to deal with signed paperwork on the spot. So efficient! She listened to all our requests (what shots to include, the music video/​cinematic feel we wanted) and even found us the very song I had my heart set on (which was not easy to find since it was a mash-​up that wasn’t easily found online, not to mention it was too long for a SDE video.)
When I sent emails, she always responded (though it would sometimes take a day or two on the weekend since her team is busy shooting weddings and events). She was always polite and reassuring in emails, which is huge to a stressed out bride!
On the day of, her team showed up on time (Alex, Wayne and herself) and started working right away. They provided great direction on what to do and worked seamlessly with my photography team. And they filmed all the way up to the dragon dance we had just before the reception and STILL got us a beautiful SDE video that was shown right after dinner was finished. I was warned that sometimes videographers can’t pull off a polished SDE highlight video in time for the reception but they did, and everyone was remarking how amazing it was. They nailed it with the aerial shots, fun bridal party sequences, music, audio clips of our personal vows, and even adding our custom made logo instead of the White Rose logo.
Less than a week later, we received our final SDE video with additional footage set in (taken from after the dragon dance). It really brought me back to the day and I couldn’t stop watching it. I can’t tell you how much I love our video — Jan and her team produce phenomenal work!
It doesn’t stop there. So we didn’t order a larger package where we would receive a full length video (we didn’t find it necessary at the time of purchase) but then I realized I wouldn’t be able to see the ceremony portion where our family and bridal party walked in since I had been hiding in the upstairs balcony, waiting for my moment to walk down the aisle. I emailed Jan about receiving the raw footage from just the processional entrance and she promptly offered to load that footage onto a USB for us. We simply had to mail the USB to their DTLA office! So I dropped a 32GB USB into the mail and we received the footage in less than a day from when they shipped it back with a tracking number. They are so prompt!
I can’t say enough awesome things about White Rose and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a videographer. They are super nice and their work is just amazing. In fact, I’ve already told my best friend (who is getting married in Dec) to use them (she already loved how they did my video). I hope she does!

This is my first Unilocal review but wouldn’t be happier to do it for a more deserving company.
First and foremost, do yourself a favor and look nowhere else for a wedding videographer! These guys are absolutely AMAZING! I wouldn’t be surprised if they made music videos and movies on the side. From the first moment that we contacted them till the day we received our wedding videos, there has been nothing but pure professionalism, perfection, creativity/​detail, and humbleness out of this company. We couldn’t be happier with the service and amazing videos they provided us. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone and everyone!
We first heard of White Rose Production through a friend that used them during their wedding. Our friend’s chose the Same Day Edit option and I have to say for a same day edit, it was pretty good. We looked into some of their other videos which most of them can be view on Vimeo. Right off the bat we loved their creativity and cinematic production. We’ve attended literally a dozen weddings in the past 5 years and no other company really wowed us like White Rose so we knew we didn’t have to look elsewhere.
My fiancée (wife now) contacted them and we received a reply from Jan who is the creative director/​manager (FYI, they’re always out filming during the weekends so you may not receive a reply right away). We scheduled a meeting/​consultation at their studio and met with Jan and Alex, who are basically the CEOs of this company. What can I say about Jan and Alex? I felt like we were long lost friends based on how our initial meeting went! They were so friendly, inviting, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. The meeting flew by in a quick hour and we walked out of there feeling confident that we hired the right people and our video would come out great.
A week before the wedding, Jan contacted us to go through last minute details. She told us that Wayne was going to be our director the day of the wedding followed by 2 other videographers. I really didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t quite sure how I felt about a guy named Wayne?! Maybe because I don’t know too many Wayne’s in my life lol. That being said, Wayne is one of the coolest guys you’ll have the pleasure of meeting! He’s super friendly, professional, a creative genius, a great director, and always carries a smile on his face. He’ll literally tell you what to do, how to pose, how to walk, how to look as if you were a movie star or cover model. We we’re very thankful that Jan allowed Wayne, Dale, and Ken to be able to capture our wedding.
It will take between 4 — 6 months after the day of your wedding to receive your wedding videos. During this time we were so anxious, excited, and nervous to view our videos that it felt like forever. We had other newly wed friends that got married after us and already received their videos! But the wait was well worth it and yes! Our video was way better! I honestly was nervous because I had such high expectations and didn’t think they would meet them but WOW! It was above and beyond what I expected! We literally cried the first couple times we watched our videos! We still watch our videos everyday and it never fails to put a smile on my face.
What makes White Rose unique from all other videography companies is that they don’t have a template on creating weddings videos. They create videos based on each couple, their personalities, likes/​dislikes, and really try to capture what the client wants. Choosing White Rose will be one of the best choices you can make for your wedding. So a good tip is to contact them early to reserve your wedding date. And if it’s taken then move your wedding date!

We could not be more pleased with our experience with White Rose Production. They are extremely gifted artists and perfectionists to say the least. From our first meeting with Jan to our wedding day team with Alex to the post production, my husband and I were IMPRESSED. They were able to deliver exactly what we asked of them; to be unlike all the others out there and create a cinematic experience that we could celebrate forever. So happy we followed our instincts on choosing White Rose! We just had our preview session last week and we were so overwhelmed with the result! Thank you guys so much!!!

Jan, Alex and Wayne– Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. My husband and I are so impressed with how everything turned out and how great it was to work with you all from start to finish. From Day 1 dealing with Jan was great. She was informative and helpful with picking the best package for us. Fast forward to the planning stage, Jan always had tons of patience with me, and as a frantic bride, I was not the easiest to deal with but we worked together to come up with my top priorities for the video and a timeline that worked perfectly.
When Wayne our director arrived he immediately put us at ease. He was thoughtful, patient and never intrusive. He gave great direction to the ladies who listened and worked with the guys who had attention spans of goldfish :) By the end of the night we truly felt Wayne was one of us and we were sad to see him leave.
Just this past week we were invited to view our video with Jan and Alex and we were blown away. I knew White Rose produced some great stuff but seeing our wedding on the big screen (They project it on to a large screen for you so it feels like you are watching it in the theater) was AMAZING. We got to lounge and watch our wedding with the adorable company mascot Logan the Dog! By watching our edit, you would think we had a full fledge Hollywood Production team at our wedding. We had only 1 note, very little changes, since their edit was spot on. I am a VERY picky person and I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like, except my husband making an inappropriate gesture in one of the shots which was NOT their fault… that’s just the man I married ha!
Again I can’t recommend the team at White Rose Productions enough. The blew any expectations I had out of the water and made us very happy newly weds. If you want to work with a GREAT team and get an amazing, creative, quality wedding video in the end… you need to hire these guys ASAP!!! They are not just our wedding vendor, they have become our friends.

Jan & Alex and their team did such a phenomenal job at our wedding. First off, my dad really knows a lot about videography. He kept telling me to really research and find a company that would do not just a great job but an amazing job. He and I met with many different companies and when we came across White Rose my dad was the one who instantly said, «This is who you should go with. Hands down.» Im so happy that I listened to my dad because he was so right. White Rose is edgy, modern and will listen to your input. They really made our wedding video beautiful. Love them! :)

Alex, Jan & the crew were so fantastic to work with before and on the wedding day! They took the time to find out what we wanted before hand and really followed through. They were ALWAYS easy to contact and responded back to our questions very quickly through email, even on the weekends.
My two favorite things about White Rose were:
1. You did not have to direct them on the day of the wedding. They took over to take the shots they wanted. I had enough on my mind the day of the wedding so it was nice to see these guys do their thing without direction. I didn’t have to ask them to get a certain shot because they were already there. Some of the camera men we worked with (Rock, Crue & Wayne) were fantastic and even helped fix my hair and told me when my makeup smudged!!! It doesn’t get better than that. They were so positive the whole day — even with hiccups or conflicts they aimed to keep our spirits up. It was fantastic to have these guys part of my day.
2. White Rose allowed us to change several things in our videos at the preview session. There were a few cuts we didn’t like and a few we wanted added. They didn’t ask questions — they did exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations.

Jan and team did our wedding in March 2014. It was the rainiest day of the year, and they managed to work with it and our video came out so beautiful. Partnering with them to come up with our concept was a lot of fun (especially in their cool studio space!)
The quality of our video is so amazing! Everyone that watches it always complements on how great the quality is! They feel like they are watching a movie.
They are very professional and they are experts in their industry.

I have been planning to write this review for a while, but kept putting it off for lack of the right words. Exceptional, Professional, Outstanding results. Are all terms that fit perfectly with White Rose Production, but I feel like this is what anyone would say about the person they hire for their wedding. White Rose Production are so much more than that…
Let me start by telling you a little about my husband and I. We are exceptionally fussy when it comes to photography, and it took a long time for us to find a wedding photographer we liked. When his parents asked if anyone would be filming the day, we honestly hadn’t even thought about it. It was so hard to settle on a photographer, I knew Videography would be even harder to find… especially something we could afford. We felt like photos would be just fine. A few months later my friend got married and told me a horror story about the Videography being destroyed and only a few clips of the day remaining. She had great photos but really wanted a video. I asked her why. «Because I only plan to do this once and a photo is two dimensional, a video helps those who aren’t there, visually feel like they are there»
That was it. I told my hubby to be, we have to get video. I’m from UK and live in America so not all my family would be there. A video seemed a great option. We hadn’t budgeted for it though, so we thought we would never find someone we liked…
Then White Rose Production walked in to our lives HAHAHA. a google search for LA best Videography found their link. When I watched the examples of their work I felt like I was watching a movie or music video. The level of professionalism was astounding. I almost didn’t bother to contact them, for fear they were so good we would never have a chance of affording them.
I emailed them and Jan responded. Immediately I loved her. She didn’t sound pretencious or like a salesman. Just down to earth and willing to discuss all options. When she sent me their price list, although still a little out of our range we agreed it was beyond reasonably priced for what you got. We met with Jan and Alex at their place to see more examples of their work, and the overall meeting was so relaxed and inviting (complete with adorable dogs) that it was an easy decision to make to go with them.
I told them early on that the one thing I didn’t want from my wedding photography was for guests to feel like they are on a set and can’t be themselves. We were having 2 videographers and 2 photographers and I was so concerned it would be overwhelming. Alex said «We work like ninjas… you will barely notice us there». He was spot on. Other than the occasional «bit» or wave at camera, I don’t know how they got the footage they did. I didn’t notice them there at all, they just got in and got the shot without being intrusive.
The wedding day went by in a flash, but the Highlights video we got was so incredible and captured the best of our day. The choice of music, footage and feel of the piece was perfect. My mum described the video perfectly «Every time I watch it I can’t stop grinning ear to ear! Its just so wonderful» It is. We love it. We are pretty much broke from the wedding and buying a house, but as soon as we saw the highlights we were back asking for pricing to get the 15min or 45min extension edit! The footage with motion cam and slow motion details, OMG its just visually stunning. We can’t get enough… we want more! Having all the raw footage is a plus, but these guys have an incredible eye and I highly recommend having them edit it for you.
In conclusion, whoever is still reading me babble on, don’t hesitate to hire them. Their work speaks for itself, but the friendliness and easy going nature of Jan and the team makes them a threat to any other videography trying to compete! There isn’t anyone better in LA. I already have 4 friends who have asked me for their details… Thank you to everyone at White Rose P. that made our wedding memories come to life and a video I can show my children and family for years to come.

This review has been long overdue! We hired White Rose Production for our wedding in April and had the BEST TIME!
We were attracted to their work for their high production value and NON-​CHEESY editing. I can’t emphasize this enough because that was our main fear. It was so important for us to be able to find the right people who can capture the essence of who we are and memories of our wedding day, without running the risk of the resulting video becoming overly cheesy. Frankly, we already have a hard time watching ourselves on video without that added tortue, thank you very much. Lol.
Alex and Jan were so professional through and through. We knew that they were the right fit from our first meeting at their office. They were genuine and clearly had the skills to fulfill our vision. They showed us multiple video examples to get a better idea of our likes and dislikes. Frankly, other than having to go through some of the logistics of it all, it felt like an afternoon hanging out with friends.
Our wedding at Redondo Beach Historic Library was very small and simple, with only 50 guests. Therefore all we really needed was the basic plan, with a steadicam add on (a MUST because it’s AWESOME).
We did not hire a dedicated wedding photographer because our wedding was so intimate that there would be too much going on. In addition, a video would be able to capture what our special day was really like, with action and sound. We were also not the type to put up a shrine of wedding photographs at home, so it was an easy choice choosing one or the other.
Hiring them was so worthwhile! On the day of, we could see that they were determined to do the best job. They scouted the whole vicinity and were certainly not lame ducks waiting to be told what to do. It was calming, knowing that we were in safe and experienced hands. Being aware that we had no photographer, they even offered to take some stills for us, which we we were not expecting, but welcomed. They were serious at times, but also candid when it was called for. The whole process ended up being so much fun!
The resulting highlight video? Absolutely beautiful and charming. It felt like us. The raw footages? Splendid and often times HILARIOUS. It went something like this;

My wife and I first heard about «White Rose Production» from family. We were engaged at the time, planning our wedding, and we were looking for a good wedding videographer.
We had seen dozens of wedding videos, but none of them seemed to catch our attention quite like White Rose Production. Their videos were fun, energetic, and really seemed to capture all the magical moments of the wedding.
Jan, Alex, and the rest of their crew did a great job on our wedding. They were patient, professional, and answered all of our questions without putting any pressure on us. We felt very comfortable talking to both Alex and Jan. They are both down to earth and are very talented at what they do!
They did an excellent job at both the highlights and full length version of our wedding video. The editing, music, lighting, etc. were all put together extremely well.
When my wife and I watched our wedding video, it really took us back to that wonderful night.
