Meet the Business Owner

Mark S.

Business Owner

For Mark Stewartson, it’s personal.

In the 25 years since putting up a single log cabin on tiny French’s Pond in Henniker, New Hampshire, Green & Wired President Mark Stewartson has built his business on first-rate construction, but he’s built his reputation on mutual trust and personal integrity.

More than simply a contractor, Mark is an advocate for those with whom he works, having become known for his dedication to not only the process, but to the people as well.

«Building or renovating a house is a short-term project, but creating or re-creating a home is an endeavor for a lifetime. I don’t consider my work a success based on the smiles the day we finish a project, but on the smiles five, 10 or 20 years down the road. My customers aren’t other contractors, they’re people who might not know the difference between a 2-by-4 and a 2-by-6, and they just want a nice, comfortable home, one where their family can grow up and feel safe, and one that they can afford for years.»
