This place is located in the same parking lot as the Big Lots and Unique Thrift Store on Preston Highway. I think the owners also own the Mexican grocery store next door, but I’m not totally positive. The food here is very good, and I would definitely classify it as authentic cuisine. You probably wont see many gringos going in this place, so if you’re the kind of person that doesn’t like dealing with a language barrier I wouldn’t recommend it. They sort of serve you, but you order at the counter. They prepare the food freshly, and they have all the jarritos, sodas and manzanita drinks for your beverage pleasure. No alcohol, I’m not sure how late they even stay open. It’s a hidden treasure of Louisville, so if you’re on the way to get some used clothing at Unique it’s a good place to visit. I wouldn’t say the restaurant has much atmosphere, but it’s all about the food. Tacos, burritos, tortas, it’s my favorita mexican restaurant here in town. ¡Es lo mejor de la comida Mexicana en Louisville, KY!
