Gervais Kia

I bought my new car here last year, and have been getting my regular check ups done here since (oil changes, inspection sticker). I went to several dealership to shop around and really liked this one. They had the car I wanted with good rates as well. The service department is very prompt and gets everything done both efficiently and correctly.

Was looking for 2012 a Hyundai Santa Fe or Kia Sorento for my next vehicle. Drove 3 Hyundai’s two with 6 cyl AWD and one 4 cyl AWD. I’ll tell you the AWD with 4 cylinder engine is not enough power for me to get on the highway. Gervais had a FWD 4 cyl Sorento. Plenty of power to get on the highway and satisfactory highway ride. Humphrey at Gervais was good to work with. I explained what I had to have for options and spending. He didn’t try to up-​sell anything after that and 90 minutes later I was signing for a 2012 Sorento.

I just leased a new Kia Forte this week. The car is amazing but the service at the dealership was really outstanding. Everyone was so incredibly helpful, especially Humphrey who assisted me through the process. Dealership’s can be so intimidating and I was worried about being able to get a good deal through one. Thankfully, Humphrey and everyone else I encountered were so patient with me and honest. I appreciated that they worked with me to get my monthly payments down to where I wanted them, and I really felt like I got a great deal! I would absolutely recommend them and will tell my friends to definitely go see Humphrey when they’re looking for a new car.

I just got my new 2015 Kia Sorento EX V-​6. This is my second lease from Gervais Kia. Both my experiences went smoothly, professionally and stressless. I highly recommend Gervais and their informative, friendly staff.

Very happy customer! Due to a recent (extended) layoff, our credit was not conducive to purchasing a new vehicle, but since we were driving a 14 year old car, we bit the bullet! Frank and Jim worked with us, found a bank and put is in a brand new Kia Soul for a reasonable monthly payment. They worked very hard to get us the deal and the vehicle we wanted! I love my new car!

My boyfriend has a 2013 Kia Optima leased from Gervais. I called to make an appointment to have an oil change. (You can only have it done here.) I was told I had to make an appointment. No problem. I made an appointment for Saturday morning at 7:30. They told me it would take 1 hour to service the car. I had to be at work in Boston by 10:30, so that shouldn’t have been a problem.
I arrived at 7:35. I tried to call on my way to tell them I was running a few minutes late, but their number on Google is incorrect so I couldn’t get through.
It took the attendant 10 minutes to get his act together to start the intake process. I told him their number was incorrect in Google. He said, «I know. We have someone working on it.» Working on it? I did a lot of that in my last job and it takes about 5 minutes. I even offered to fix it for them while I waited if they had a computer handy. No, we have no computers. Ummmm ok. Nevermind.
I waited almost an hour and saw my car had not been taken into the garage. Now it’s 8:30 and if the service takes an hour, that’s going to be cutting it a bit close to get me into downtown Boston for 10:30. I went up to the desk and (very nicely) explained my situation. I asked if I should expect to wait this long so I could plan my next appointment. I was told that he had to take whoever was there. Well, I was told that I had to make an appointment. What is the point if they just take whoever shows up? I woke up 2 hours early on a Saturday because I thought this was the way thing worked here. I asked if I could please have my car back because I couldn’t wait another hour for my vehicle to be serviced. «What time to do you have to work?» he snapped. «10:30,» I replied. «Well you wouldn’t have made it anyway.» Now I’m irritated. I commute to Boston every day. I know how long it takes. Even if they had taken me by 8 (a half hour after my so called «appointment»), I would have had plenty of time to get to work.
I am in customer service and I am ALWAYS nice to customer service reps. I cannot believe the rude, arrogant behavior at Gervais Kia. I can understand that things can happen that are beyond our control. (I was 5 minutes late after all.) But seriously? Cut the shit. Change your policies or adhere to them. And if customers nicely ask you what to expect in the future, just tell them outright– a headache.

Called for quote shocks & strut: $ 406. Told the guy, Al, $ 800 at Firestone, $ 600 at Sears, book it. Pick up, bill $ 813. WTF!!! Price per axle. RIPOFF!!! Sucker…
