Don’t go here. Took 45 minutes for a basic manicure. Made me wait 15 minutes when they said it would be five and let their«usuals»(I assume) cut in front of me. Cuticles — not neatly trimmed Polish– clearly on the cuticle and finger. So many coats were applied including the top coat that it pulled the color around on my nails and they look dented. Pics to come.

After going to 3 different nail salons, my friend and I walked in because every other nail salon couldn’t do the shape and design she wanted for her nails. We go up to one of the ladies and at first she tells us she can’t do it. Then she finally says she can but she won’t have enough time for us today. My friend was leaving for Italy the next day. Meanwhile there’s 3 people standing around doing nothing. What a lazy, inconsiderate person. Never walking into this place again.

While this nail salon may seem clean, quiet, and professional the gentleman who did my gel mani pedi was terrible. 1. He burned me 3x with the drying lamp during my gel Pedi 2. He left bubbles in my polish and seemed annoyed when I requested he fix it. 3. It’s 4 days later and my gel mani is peeling Bottom line– for the price I paid, I expected more.

I got a gel manicure this past Saturday for $ 28. The women doing my nails was incredibly distracted, answering the phone and helping people dry. She filed my nails after the polish dried which caused my pinkie to flake off. I have no idea why she was filing them after all was done. So she re-did that nail. Two days later my thumb nail polish chipped. So I went back Monday afternoon to get it fixed, as that’s ridiculous. The same woman started to fix it then went to work on a pedicure. She forgot about me and another woman had to finish it. Considering it was one nail polish change it took way longer than it should have. Monday night the same nail chipped again! I don’t use my hands a lot on any way that would erode the polish. I think it’s poor quality product(even though it was Essie brand) and very poor service. She didn’t need to file my nails after they were dry. For the price I paid this was awful and I won’t ever go back. Consider any of the other nail salons in Lynbrook before going to Fine Nails.

This nail place does a fantastic job but when I went there recently I waited about 20 minutes and another person walked in and they took her before me and told me it was because she came there all the time and I did not. I thought this was very unprofessional.

Only 5 people working on Thursday afternoon @ 4:15. Been waiting 20 mins & they keep taking walk-Ins for eyebrows before getting the clients waiting for manicures done. This place is not spa-like whatsoever! Disagree with other positive reviews. I was desperate so I came here but I won’t make that mistake again. I might actually walk out before getting a manicure if someone doesn’t come to start in the next few minutes. So annoying. Update:I left, they took another person before me.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaail time! Beautiful, spa like interior with calming music and the food network on 24⁄7. Super clean on the inside. Staff is friendly and depending on who you get, super chatty and cute. Pedicures are heavenly. Yes, I like my feet touched. A little pumice, some cream, paraffin on my heels and a mini massage, hello! They care about their work and may even take a little pride in it, too! Last time I got a pedicure they proceeded to wrap my feet in Saran Wrap before I put them in my boots. There was a little bit of doting going on while they were like«ooh! ohh! noo mess up your paint!». Nice of them actually, I didn’t have to sit there and wait for it to dry for 20 or so mins while staring at the snowstorm coming in. Their biggest selling point to me is the $ 25 leg wax. Listen, I’m a little Italian girl so you can just imagine what my legs look like when grown out for a few weeks. I’ll spare you the details but all I have to say is «BEAR!, rawwwwr!». All of the ladies who’ve tamed the leg-fuzz have been quick, efficient and seemed to try to make it as painless as possible. They don’t get too crazy plucking strays or spots they missed but what can I say, it’s $ 25. Not bad. There’s veet for the rest of those suckers. My only complaint about the whole process is that they don’t really care for privacy. They often leave the waxing room door open. One time, one of the nail techs came in to giggle, chat and watch me get my legs waxed. She may or may not have been giggling at my facial expressions or my unruly looking legs. It was awkward, and I dare say, slightly unprofessional. Note that while you’re there they will try to persuade you into more services. Lip wax? Eyebrows today? Manicure today, miss? I don’t mind it but it most definitely has turned a quick trip into an hour long a $ 65+ ordeal at some points.

I’ve been there twice, once for a manicure and once for a pedicure. They seem to be very conscious about the customer waiting time… when I went for my pedicure about 7 people came in after me and by the time I was sitting down waiting for my nails to dry they were all being taken care of. My pedicure was great and I am very pleased with it, but I am not as happy with my manicure. The woman did not do a bad job with my mani, but it could have been better. A regular mani is $ 7 and a regular pedi is $ 18(cheaper than my other place). They also give you a card; for every 10 visits you earn a free regular manicure. The people are very nice and they also gave me a free back massage during my first visit, during the manicure.
