I have been enjoying this family run hardware and variety store and they never disappoint. From that weird screw for a fix it job to advice on fertilizer one or another family member will give you great recommendations.
The best part is when they don’t have what you want they will send you to a place to find it. Do you remember miracle on 34th street? Well… This is just like Macy sending you to Gimbals for a sold out toy at Christmas. It’s not the sale it is the customer… Makes a difference in the big box world!

Great little neighborhood store. Good for grabbing something quick if you don’t want to deal with the Big Box retailers. Staff always around to help. Prices are fair. Tey also offer 50% off greeting cards! Good place!

Great neighborhood spot. We’ve had to pop in during snowstorms for shovels and salt when we’ve broken ours and run out, gloves when ours have ripped, and cards when we’ve forgotten a birthday or anniversary. Everyone’s always very friendly no matter what, and I’m consistently thankful to them for being open on those rough days. Love when we can shop local, especially when we can support a great business like Miller’s!

Miller’s Housewares embodies the perfect example of a friendly, small town business, one-​stop-​shop you could ever ask for. Not only did I grow up knowing this store on Lynbrook’s busy Atlantic Avenue, I worked here. My first job actually. Being a meek 16 year old, I walked into the already familiar, Miller’s, seeking a possible part time job.
I got a chance and was given a job. I learned the basics of hardware, and I am still proud to take ownership of that knowledge. The owners, Stuart and Michael, allowed me to learn. I stocked products, dusted merchandise, met new people, and assisted customers.
I really enjoyed my time at Miller’s and still visit every so often.

Family owned since 1910. Friendly, helpful and they have all kinds of things. Shop small when you can. I have purchased safety goggles, toys, duplicate keys, birthday cards, and a broom.
