The couple that runs this shop is the sweetest. I first came here last spring with my mother. She had just started chemo the week before and was looking for a wig that matched her natural hair. The lady at the shop helped us with everything and made the trip that we thought was going to be emotional and exhausting into a simple, relaxing experience. To top it all off, we came in a few months later and she trimmed and conditioned the wig for free. Now that my mothers chemo is over and her hair is growing back, we won’t need to visit the shop anymore, so all I can do is highly recommend that anyone with need of a wig visit Adorn.

I came in this cute little shop to pick up some maintenance accessories for my cosplay wig. My wig is made of synthetic fibers and requires special shampoo, styling spray and brush. I was very excited to find everything I needed, including plastic wig stands here. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All the accessories are kept behind the counter but the sales woman spoke great English and knew exactly what I wanted. And even gave me little tips to help get the best style from my wig. The accessories were awesomely priced! I was so excited, I bought two of most everything I needed. In all, this place is very clean and organized. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Their prices for accessories is amazing! I will definitely recommend this place to all my cosplay friends!

Having shopped both at Hair Fair and Adorn Wigs several times, and bought a wig online, I’d rather go to Adorn Wigs. Yes, there is sometimes a wait(and I would recommend you call ahead and see if you can make an appointment, which is what I did the first time I was here). However, you get great service, a wide selection of wigs from name brands, and if you buy the wig right then, if you need the wig trimmed in any way, you can have it done right then. I bought a Vivica Fox wig today from Adorn Wigs that was $ 55 including tax. I’ve bought an Adore wig from them that was about $ 150, so it really depends on what you want and how much you’re willing to spend. If you’re a comparison shopper, be advised that if you try on three wigs here and don’t buy anything, you will be charged a $ 10 service fee. Also, no photography is allowed in the fitting/styling rooms. I overheard a woman in the fitting/styling room next to me complaining that she couldn’t understand a word of what the woman selling/styling wigs was saying; I thought the woman spoke good English, if with a slight accent and in a way that showed it wasn’t her first language, so your mileage may vary. Also, the way the female proprietor asks if you want to buy the wig you’re trying on is very direct(«You buy?»), which can come across as rude but I don’t think she means it that way. She asks if you want to try another wig and if you want it cut in the same tone of voice, for the record. So does her husband. The way I look at it: if you’re really in need of a wig and fear the process, come here. I learned how to pin a wig to what hair I have left in today’s fitting session, so it was worth it to me. Prices on the wigs vary with the brand, style, and color, but they were willing to work with my stated budget and I’m happy. What more can you ask?

The minute I walked in I was overwhelmed by the number of choices. Everything you can imagine from short, long, straight, curly, pixie, blunt, layered and in every shade that someone has ever grown or colored. This isn’t a place you would go for a costume wig — stick to your local costume shop for that… Adorn is where you go when you want to change your style, color or length without the commitment or permanence of the salon. I was able to try on multiple styles that helped me to see what I looked good in. I had shaved my head just a couple of days before in order to grow my hair back out fully(too much processing). Working at a professional location, I felt a bit self-conscious and sought out Adorn to maintain a level of hair-anonymity. The staff was pleasant, even when busy with other clients. Of all of the styles I tried on, the Raquel Welch series seemed to fit me best. When I went to work the following Monday, I received MANY complements on my new haircut. No one could tell… The prices are reasonable, from what I saw — anywhere from $ 80 up to the high $ 300’s, and I have to say, you get what you pay for! My two wig purchases were approximately $ 120 and $ 150, and I think it was worth every penny! I’ll probably go back and buy one or two more.

I am in agreement with Caillin… this is a great shop, that provides excellent service. Both time’s I’ve walked in, and described styles I’ve wanted to try, the owner was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful, including bringing me some styles/colors I hadn’t thought of, and ideas for styling. Turns out she’s got a better sense of the wigs that look good with my face shape and complexion, and it was hard to decide on just one. I’ve purchased two so far, and will go back.

This is indeed a very good wig shop, the best one I have found in Washington. The owners are very nice, and I think that the review from the person who thought they were rude is mistaken. Their English is difficult to understand and probably they have some difficulty understanding us. But their kindness and willingness to do the best for individuals they can is flawless. I have been buying wigs from them for nearly 10 years. Just recently, I had not been in in about a year, and I walked in the door and they greeted me enthusiastically and remembered where I lived(a small town several hours away) and were genuinely pleased to see me. How they can remember me when I only walk through the door about once a year is most impressive. They are honest, kind, and helpful. But the main reason I value them is that they do have the best quality wigs. And that makes a huge difference.

Sorry to say but the proprietor was extremely rude. I don’t care if it’s a cultural difference or what. I walked in and asked if they were open on Monday January 2nd. He said«Do you want to come in ?», rather than answer the question. I explained that I’m bringing a friend so we can try on wigs together. He then said, «Try on or Buy ?». I was floored, looked at him and said«I don’t know» and walked out. Now I don’t ever want to go there because of his attitude.

There are not many good wig shops around these days. But here is not only a good one, but probably the best one in the greater Seattle area. A nice shop with a large variety of wigs. The prices range from low up to very high. I got a mid-range one that looked extremely nice for $ 60, but the ones in the $$ hundreds were fantastic looking. The proprietors are very nice and helpful. If you don’t know what you are looking for they are good at making suggestions that best fit your face and coloring and if you do know what you are looking for they are helpful at showing the various options at various prices. Then they have private fitting rooms and they are wig fitting experts. They show you how to properly put on the wig, adjust it and secure it. They make sure you understand how to take care of your wig.
