Eyewear for you and your family. We are an Independent Optical Shoppe here to serve you, our client in making decisions about your eyewear concerns. We will sit with you to discuss the questions you have with answers about why different lenses or frames solve what you want.

We like to find new products as soon as we can. We recently were certified to fit special prescription lenses to Google Glass Computer Eyewear.

Stop in a talk to us. We are more than happy to discuss your questions about your eyewear. Wether it is about your prescription eyewear or about new sunglasses without prescriptions. We can talk about swim goggles, ski goggles, baseball, soccer, computer. If we do not know we will find out or recommend you to a colleague who can help.

Meet the Business Owner

Rick Z.

Business Owner

Rick learned and trained under independent opticians, originally licensed in NJ before opening The Eyeglass Shoppe in Madison. His family has worked over the past 32 years and continues to work our store the downtown.

His wife, Sharon learned and became a Licensed Optician. She is a Past-​President of the Opticians association in NJ. She is the only women to have been president.

When stopping in you may also see either his parents or Rick’s and Sharon’s son and daughter helping out. We are a definitely a family business. We hope to have you come in and be a part of our larger family. Come in, sit down, let’s talk about what we can do.
