Will never, ever do business with this establishment again. They delivered fuel that I paid for (by leaving a check on my oil pipe) to my neighbors home and refused to rectify the situation. When I telephoned the next day, the owner was extremely rude, unprofessional (to the point of asking me my salary) and absolutely refused to accept responsibility for her firms error. I began doing business elsewhere that very day. There are many highly professional companies in the area to bring your business. Sclafani is not one of them.

I’ve used Sclafani for the past 5 – 6 years and I’m very happy. I’m on a 12 month budget plan, pay the same amount in December as I do in May. Every year I’ve called in the spring and simply told them that I had enough oil for the spring/​summer season. They’ve halted all deliveries AND I was able to stop making budget payments, as long as I paid whatever was possibly owed at that time. I would recommend using them.

I have used Sclafani for about 5 years now for COD deliveries and have never had a problem with their service. I have called around in the past to find the best price and they have always been the lowest. Any of the staff I have dealt with over the phone have always been nice and professional. Even on short notice they have always gotten my delivery out the next business day. I however cannot comment on their contract services or automatic delivery as I have never used them. As far as standard call in COD deliveries they are 5 stars to me. They also keep your credit card info on file so you don’t have your card on hand every time you order.

I only needed the minimum, which is often tough to get without a service contract or long-​term commitment.
They were great.
They took my CC# over the phone, came out and delivered the oil, and I’m completely satisfied.
I don’t work for them, I’m not connected to them in any way. I’m just a local resident who needed oil.

I have had minor issues with Sclafani over the 2 winters that we have used them to provide Fuel Oil for our home, but they just crossed the line.
I just received an unannounced fuel oil delivery which cost me nearly $ 600. When I called their office, they told me that they left a message on my voicemail, but I never received a message. We double checked the phone number they said they called and it was, in fact, my cell phone. Again, no message was ever received.
I was charged a price per gallon for the fuel oil on Tue, even though my delivery went out on Wed. The price on Wed was less than the price on Tue. Do you pay yesterday’s gas prices when you fill your car? No, you do not.
And all this as the weather has been beautiful and warm. I absolutely did not need fuel oil.
I have canceled all deliveries from Sclafani Oil and will be using a different provider next winter.
