$ 50.00 for $ 100.00 is a joke. They are unprofessional! A costumer should never be yelled at. Apparently if you do not pay them for the extra things they want to charge you they get upset and so a shitty job. I could do a better job cleaning my vents than the clown they sent. You would think that hiring a company to clean your vents will give you a piece of mind and comfort knowing that the job was done properly. Unfortunately this was not the case. I say save your money and go with another company.

I can not believe I didn’t come on Unilocal before I scheduled my appointment, otherwise, I definitely would have used another company. First off, it’s so odd that they schedule CT but have a NJ license plate. Run, Run, Far away. I have my carpets scheduled to be cleaned tomorrow by Stanley steamer but they don’t do vents in my area so now my vents are not cleaned and I’m completely aggravated. I have trouble managing horrible asthma and allergies, so I can’t go a year without the vents being un-​cleaned. :(
I usually use another company but thought I’d try someone on Living social, as I always have good experiences with Living Social/​Groupon deals. I get my vents cleaned every year so I know what I need in terms of amount of vents/​returns/​ect. Before I purchased the living social, I called the office to see what offer I needed for my condo. (They had 4 different priced deals and a different deal on their website). The phone number didn’t work… so I e-​mailed them and they called me right back within 5 minutes, so I thought that was good service. The woman stated the $ 49 Living Social would be exactly what I need for my condo to get the vents cleaned, the dryer vent cleaned and the furnace checked.
I had my dad come over so I wasn’t alone during the service, and I’m SO glad he was there to try to argue for me, but I still didn’t get what I paid for. He did show up within the window (It was 2 – 4 and he came at 3). That’s the ONLY thing he did right. He was rude, unprofessional, and not trained properly. The man showed up in a van (which didn’t seem equipped with the hoses you normally use for the vents) I gave him my Living Social and asked me to show him my vents, which I did. Then he started writing me a bill, for $ 140 extra! I said I just wanted what the deal offered and he claimed he could not «just» do that. After back and forth arguing he actually yelled to me dad to «let me finish. let me finish» … seriously? You’re in someone else’s home, don’t raise your voice. I get this done every year so I know he was trying to upsell things that were NOT necessary. Long story short, he didn’t clean the vents. I told him I should get something for what I paid, so I told him to clean the dryer vent which was supposed to be included. It took him 5 minutes, with a little brush. How come other companies have used vacuums and other heavy duty equip for 30 minutes… so I’m not sure he «cleaned» anything. He was going to leave, and I said… «I was supposed to get a furnace check included too», so he reluctantly agreed. My dad was watching him and after 5 minutes goes «don’t you now you need to turn the furnace on to check it and check the gas???» Yeah. I think they hire people off the street with no training that hope people wont watch them. Also, every time I’ve had a furnace check from Aillo or elsewhere, they give me a writeup that it’s safe/​unsafe/​what they checked and the outcome… I asked for this and he said «my receipt is proof it was checked»… hm, no.
So, I paid for absolutely nothing. NEVER use this company.

We scheduled an appointment for last week and they didn’t show up. We tried again for today with a promised arrival time of 9 a.m. and still they didn’t show. I guess they do a good job for the jobs they can be bothered with, but after wasting two mornings, we ran out of patience.

Had no issues scheduling or having workers arrive. Pricing was good especially since I used a valpack coupon. Also was told service might not be possible due to hose length but luckily we were able to get a basement window open — not without damaging some of my landscaping. Worker wasn’t the most professional but was friendly.

They cancelled the scheduled appointment claiming the tech’s brakes had failed, He was in fact held up at a prior app’t. He then came the following day and tried to charge ten times the cost of the promo voucher I had bought. When I changed my mind, he tried to charge me for his time. He then also refused to give me back the paper work. He did no work at all. They also advertise free estimates. He tried to charge me for his time. He was rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this company and they better not try to charge me for work they did not do. Buyer Beware!

I bought a Groupon for $ 37 and the «fine print» said I would get my air ducts cleaned along with my dryer vent. Only my dryer vent was done since he said it was impossible to do my air ducts. And he charged me an additional $ 70 or threatened to walk out without finishing the job.
If my HOA didn’t require this service being done right away (or face fees) we would’ve kicked them out of my house when they actually showed up.
They did a classic bait and switch. I’m demanding a refund from Groupon and I will never use them again. I took time off of work for them not to even show up the day I scheduled them. I was scheduled for a Friday 3−5pm appointment. I called them at 6pm and they told me my serviceman wasn’t coming that day… at all. Even when I mentioned I lost money because I missed work they hardly apologized and offered to come Saturday. I told them I had plans to be out of state and they offered to come again during the work week. Since I already missed work I told them to just come Saturday and I would cancel my plans.
When they finally showed up (yes they were late for their Saturday appointment) they demanded I pay an additional $ 70 (why did I bother with the Groupon?!) and had my husband do half the work. My husband had to remove the dryer and go outside to check if our vent was being cleared out. Had this man showed up while I was waiting alone the day before, they wouldn’t have been able to service my system since I can’t move a dryer on my own.
The bottom line is that this company is a scam. Groupon or not, I was taken for a ride and would NEVER recommend them.

Had to pick carpet cleaning since vent cleaning was not an option.
I selected this company based on a coupon I received in the Valupac for Vent Cleaning.
It was a coupon for a regular residential cleaning that was normally 289.99 for 59.99.
Main issues:
1.) Company rescheduled 2 times.
2.) Company was still late missing the window they stated.
3.) The estimate they gave at the house was for $ 1000.00 …10 time more than the coupon.
4.) When I complained they knocked it down to $ 300.00 ten dollars more then the advertised cost before the coupon.
What a rip off and waste of time… never again
