Specialists in sewer, drain, and water pipe repairs, replacement, and new installations using new «trenchless» or «no-​dig» technologies such as pipe bursting, pipe lining, CIPP, slip lining, and micro-​tunneling. Simplified it means we can replace your pipe without you having to replace what’s above it or around it – so we replace you sewer, not your lawn. We’ve been doing «trenchless» work since 2001 and are tested, licensed and even certified as trainers for other contractors.

History

Established in 2001.

We are third generation plumbers and mechanical contractors who started to do serious pipe bursting work in 2001. We enjoyed that work and were involved in some early designs for specialty applications. «Trecnhless» work now makes up the bulk of our business. We do a lot of residential work directly for home owners and enjoy those relationships. We have also done larger municipal and industrial work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio. We take pride in the wide range of equipment and technologies we can now draw upon to solve problems as cost effective and with as little disturbance as possible.

In 1903 James Galligan was pushing a tool cart through the streets of Philadelphia on the way to another plumbing repair. Today his grandsons are still repairing pipes through The Pipeshark company, but now the newest technologies. Technologies install and repair buried or otherwise inaccessible piping without all the damage, inconvenience and restoration that accompanies digging things up or ripping things out the traditional way. We grew up in specializing in difficult mechanical problems and design build projects ranging from the old (steam) to the new (medical oxygen). While searching for a better way to replace a sewer running under a historic tree we met an inventor with a new method of replacing buried piping with only minimal excavation. We bought his equipment, replaced the sewer, and saved the tree. From that point we’ve been hooked on better ways to install, repair, or replace piping and conduits which run under, above, or behind things people want to preserve.
