I can’t believe it took me this long to write a review. a long over due yet well deserved. Things always seem to move too fast, but Sandra deserves a great review
Sandra was our go to when we were planning our wedding in Mammoth from Los Angeles. Her connections and creativity went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. It’s always scary to engage in a service when you don’t see the results until the day of.
But her process leading up to our wedding day was bulletproof, she kept us in the loop along the way, always had a contingency plan in place should anything not go as expected. And if you know Mammoth, weather can sometimes be very unpredictable.
To paint a picture of how well Sandra orchestrated our wedding. We had a grand plan of getting married at the top of Mammoth Mountain, (Plan A), weather forecast was perfect, it was a bluebird day! We had planned on having all our guest take a nice gondola ride to the top, it would’ve been an awesome experience for our guest, many of which have never seen snow, been at that elevation, and/​or been on a gondola. Mother nature had other plans, she decided to deliver the biggest blizzard of the season and shut Plan A down. Audibles were called behind the scenes to figure out what to do to keep the day as magical as it ultimately ended up to be.
While my wife and I were doing the typical wedding activities, in parallel, Sandra pulled all the strings she could to create an unparalleled experience nonetheless. Mammoth deemed it unsafe to use the gondola as it was WAY to windy, in fact Sandra got stuck on the gondola at the time Mammoth made the call, and if I remember correctly, she started executing her Plan B on the gondola while she was waiting for them to get her down.
In any case she arranged us to get married at McCoy station, she was able to turn McCoy into something we would not have imagined McCoy could be. She arranged all our guest to be taxied to McCoy in Mammoth’s luxury SnowCats, we had the ceremony in McCoy station, and then transitioned into at the time, a newly remodeled Parallax for the reception.
I would in a heart beat highly recommend Sandra for any event you may be considering.

We used Green Fox Events to plan our wedding in Mammoth Lakes, October 2015, after spending months and months looking for venues in Mammoth. We knew what we didn’t want and that was a cookie cutter wedding. Sandra and Green Fox Events BEYOND exceeded our expectations. She was there from the very beginning, giving us recommendations, negotiating contracts, creating spreadsheets and to do lists, organizing and communicating with every one of our vendors. We were able to put all our trust in her to ensure that our big day went smoothly and it did! Having them be involved from the beginning made our wedding day so easy. I was not bombarded with questions from any of our vendors. They all knew where to be and at what time. This really made it easy for us to relax and enjoy the entire day, stress free! I was shocked to see my own wedding site, I thought it was more beautiful than I had imagined it would be and our reception was even better. Sandra was able to take my ideas and my homemade décor and make it all look like it was designed and planned perfectly for our venues. So many friends and family complimented us on our wedding, saying it was one of the best ones they have been to, and I have to say it was all possible because of Sandra and Green Fox Events. I know anyone who uses them will have nothing but a wonderful, enjoyable, and most importantly, a stress free time!

We worked with Sandra and Green Fox Events to plan a rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding. She listened to what we wanted, and then she and her staff went to work to plan the best event ever and stayed very close to the budget we set. The event was in June Lake, CA and we lived in another state! Sandra also ordered us the BEST weather ever! My husband and I could not have asked for anything more! Sandra and her staff took care of everything!!! Awesome event planner!!!

My husband and I hired Sandra last year for our wedding at Hayden Cabin. We really liked working with Green Fox Events because Sandra was experienced, personable and patient with us through the planning process and she was also flexible with expenses and her wedding planning packages. I had a lot of ideas of my own that she helped make happen. We wanted a wedding that was reflective of us and not necessarily traditional. I had made the mistake of booking the ceremony site without seeing it (before we hired Sandra) and my husband and I were kind of disappointed with the view bc it ended up being close to a busy street. We found a meadow that was exactly what we wanted, no frills just us saying our vows in front of the people we love with an amazing backdrop of the Sierras. I wasn’t sure what Sandra would think of us changing our ceremony site since it wasn’t technically a wedding site (and it was very last minute and we had already sent out the invites!) She was more than supportive and totally made it happen for us. I was completely trusting of Sandra and her team to coordinate everything on the day of our wedding and they ended up exceeding our expectations. Thank you for all of your hard work, I’m know we were a pain at times and sorry our review is so late we hope to see you around town at our next visit to Mammoth!

As someone who has no eye (or patience) for design, Green Fox Events was a dream come true. I got the beautiful, elegant mountain wedding that I wanted without any of the hassle. Green Fox handled all the details and created a lovely design that complemented the mountain landscape perfectly. My family and I were able to fully enjoy and appreciate the wedding because we didn’t have to deal with all the stress and effort of having to plan or execute it!
Working with Cara was easy and she was always very pleasant, organized, professional. She and Sandra handled all the interactions with vendors, negotiated contracts, created designs for ceremony and reception spaces, and remembered to plan every last detail so that my day went off without a hitch. I was able to simply show up on my wedding day and everything was taken care of. I even was able to go hiking the morning of my wedding!
If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, I would highly recommend Green Fox Events. I couldn’t have asked for more :)

Like another reviewer said, I wish I could give more than 5 stars! My husband and I hired Sandra and Cara to help us plan our wedding in Bishop, and they were wonderful.
— They are professional and detail oriented, and even better, so much fun and a total delight to work with.
— We did consultation calls for a few months leading up to the wedding during which they gave us tons of excellent recommendations for vendors. Our florist made the most beautiful bouquet and center pieces. Our band was unbelievably good, turning the end of our reception into a dance party. All thanks to the GFE recommendations!!!
— We changed our ceremony venue 2 days before the wedding due to cold weather in the mountains. I thought this was potentially going to be a disaster, but it was no big deal for GFE. All the vendors were in place, the ceremony was gorgeous, and everything went perfectly.
— A week or so before the ceremony, we found out the PA system we’d rented for the ceremony didn’t have a cordless mic. I was emailing back and forth with party supplier when he responded «Never mind! Sandra worked it out!»
— We weren’t planning to rent special linens for the reception, but GFE suggested some affordable rental options, so we were able to dress up the tables, and they looked amaaazing.
— They took care of a million tiny details we would never have thought of. They came up with an open seating diagram for the reception, saved us appetizers to enjoy after the ceremony photos, made custom place cards for our late rsvp’s, brought platters for our desserts, set up a pretty driving sign for the ceremony so our guests knew where to go, set up a bowl for gift cards at the reception, and on and on and on.

We got married in Hayden Cabin, Mammoth Lakes September 2013. We used Green Fox Events as our wedding coordinator. We have no complains. Sandra was professional, she has a lot of experience with planning weddings in the Sierras. Mammoth is a small town and she knows all the vendors and venues. Our venue, Hayden Cabin is not a typical wedding venue, its a beautiful outside historic location with a majestic view of mammoth mountain. Sandra and her team help make it into a wedding and reception event. Our wedding was memorable with the help of Green Fox Event. I highly recommend them when you plan a Mammoth wedding.

Working with the Green Fox Event team is always amazing! They are true professionals! As a caterer, knowing that they are involved with an event, brings peace of mind knowing the event with be seamless and incredible!

Sandra was an amazing resource for our wedding. Mammoth has been a special place for my family, as host of our annual reunion for over 30 years. So, we are very familiar with the area, but definitely not experts in knowing the best vendors for our destination wedding!
Sandra knows everything and everyone in Mammoth and provided us with great local insight throughout our planning process. From lodging to transportation, catering to babysitting, Sandra had an answer for all of my questions. Plus, in the days leading up to, and the day of, our wedding, she was always thoughtful, down-​to-​earth, organized and responsive.
I also plan events for a living, and I had complete confidence in Sandra to handle all of the details on our wedding day. Her demeanor is the perfect balance of calmness and enthusiasm. She was an integral part of making our destination wedding events so special for us, our family and friends. I came away with wonderful memories of our wedding and a friend in Sandra!

Let me tell you a story: once upon a time there was a beautiful, smart, incredible woman named Kaitlin (my soon-​to-​be wife at the time) and her adorable, awesome, fantastic, incredible, intelligent (too much?) soon-​to-​be-​husband. They lived in Los Angeles, but wanted an amazing wedding in Mammoth Lakes. So after a little digging, they found Green Fox Events & Guest Services. Who is Green Fox? Well, let me tell you: the best thing that could ever happen to your wedding. Sandra and her team (special shout out to Cara and Kristy) are top-​notch. They are experienced, professional and amazing people to work with.
Don’t want to spend the money? First, don’t be stupid. Second, they get valuable discounts that makes their services almost a wash in the end anyway. Lastly, c’mon, they’re amazing!!!
Now let me tell you how the story ends: my wife and I got married without a hitch. Seriously, not one. Have you ever heard of absolutely nothing going wrong at a wedding? Me neither.
Look, I can’t guarantee that NOTHING will go wrong at your wedding, either. However, I can guarantee that without Green Fox, you’re living dangerously.

Fantastic experience with Sandra and Green Fox Events! I requested flowers for my girlfriend’s birthday at very short notice while skiing in Mammoth, and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, the product and the interaction with Sandra. The flowers were beautiful, delivered to the hotel room at 8am and a wonderful surprise to the recipient.
The entire matter was handled very efficiently, yet with a lot of care. The order took a quick telephone call followed by text messages, and the payment was efficiently handled electronically. The flowers themselves were very thoughtfully decorated, with a small bag of nice chocolates with the vase. The price was quite reasonable.
I couldn’t have asked for more. Would highly recommend them and definitely try them again when I’m in the area next!

I must admit that it took me a while to warm up to Sandra — I was reluctant to use a wedding planner (my mom made me do it, but she paid for it too!) Very quickly, I realized how big a project our dream wedding was — and she helped it to materialize. Going through the photos today, I was reminded of what a great/​beautiful day it was and I still get weekly compliments on the entire wedding (more than 2 months later) — ceremony, location, food, hair, dress — everything that Sandra helped us with. We did a part «home-​made» part big-​fancy wedding, and it was essential to have a professional to help us organize it. Thanks!

We knew we wanted to get married in Mammoth, surrounded by majestic winter mountain beauty, and were thrilled to find Sandra and Green Fox Events. She helped us plan and organize our destination wedding from the smallest of details to the biggest of decisions. Our wedding, which involved many moving parts including out of state travelers, several hotel options, gondola rides and snowcat pickups, was flawless. The day of we had nothing to worry about but enjoying our day and friends and family. From the gift bags to the cake, Sandra added her calm and thoughtful touch. She is an amazing asset to any party big or small, and I can’t wait to throw a ten year anniversary bash so she can plan that too!

Working with Green Fox has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Many other reviews here go into great detail as to why this is, so I will just reiterate that this was our experience also.
The only unique thing about my husband and my situation is that we are somewhat different from the typical wedding demographic. We are both avid climbers and outdoors people who wanted our wedding to reflect our values. Sandra very deftly accommodated our wishes to have a more laid back ceremony and reception.
More so than any other wedding vendors I have talked to, I feel like Sandra really listened to what we wanted and helped us execute. She has truly great people skills as well as being a very effective wedding planner. I think that this combination is hard to find in the wedding business.

I cannot say enough good things about Green Fox Events and the wedding guru Sandra. She helped me work through so many things, details, issues, concerns and ALWAYS put my mind at ease. The «No Stress Allowed» motto is true. I would let Sandra know of a concern (or major freak out) and she took it from there to resolution. I had a particularly difficult to manage venue that came with a caterer. A bit of a nightmare. Sandra kept me sane in dealing with the traumas and dramas of that experience (hello unreturned phone calls and emails, no written agreement until the Tuesday before the event, having to repeat requests over and over in writing and verbally from this vendor…). We hired Sandra after selecting our venue that came with caterer. If I had to do it all over again I likely would have started by hiring Sandra and proceeded based on her advice. She really is the expert!
I relied on Sandra to be our expert and never looked back. I had no worries on the days leading up to our event because she had it all handled. And on the day of our wedding, my hubby and I took in every single wonderful moment without a worry because she had it all flowing beautifully. She also managed to return each and every item that we delivered to the venue for our celebration — and as a DIY bride, we had A LOT! Green Fox also provided a bunch of great and fun rentals.
Sandra was an amazing resource. She won’t just send you a list of hairdressers and florists. Instead, she met with us to get to know us before going on to make recommendations for vendors so she had an idea of what styles would work for us.
One thing I wish I had done differently in using Sandra and Green Fox is to have used them more! I had to be super budget conscious and Sandra always made that possible and workable. But if I had known then what I know now, I would have made budget adjustments to be able to have GFE handle more for us so that I wasn’t so overwhelmed with my own massive DIY projects in the end. Live and learn… Don’t make this same mistake, ladies! Budget enough to be able to have Sandra and her team do as much as possible for you. This is coming from a really budget conscious bride!
In addition to just being an expert and super professional, knowledgeable, organized and responsive, Sandra and her team were also so much fun to work with. We laughed a lot. I want to do it all again (minus that caterer probably!).
Finally, Sandra provides a very detailed schedule of events for all wedding related activities. I wish I had used this tool more! She will distribute it to your vendors. But I should have also distributed it to members of my family who were helping with a lot of details so that they had fewer questions for me; questions that I was getting overwhelmed in answering… (This was the control freak part of me rearing it’s ugly head. Lucky for you, Sandra is in control and OCD, so he has your back!)
I highly recommend Sandra and her team. You will be in the best hands ever!

They could also help you plan an event out of the area! I attended a wedding planned by Green Fox Events in the Dolomites that was the most memorable wedding I have ever attended! From gorgeous mountain hikes to festive wine tastings to the grand finale– a wedding in a castle (!), I was blown away by all amazing events!

When my significant other asked me to marry him, I didn’t know if I wanted to have a wedding or not. We both grew up in Mammoth, so having a small, non-​traditional wedding was a compromise we both agreed on. I had been in a wedding that Sandra coordinated, and I knew immediately that she was the woman for the job.
Sandra and the Green Fox team were amazing. From day 1 of wedding planning, Sandra was on my side. She supported me, helped me solidify ideas, helped me trouble shoot, offered resources, and carried out my plans. We met a lot, did monthly phone conferences, and sent tons of emails back and forth. I always felt supported and cared for without being pressured to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. Planning was made so easy and fun.
The week of the wedding was never stressful or overwhelming. I handed everything to the Green Fox team, and they took care of it. They were wonderful in dealing with both my family and the vendors.
My wedding was beautiful, fun, and more than I ever dreamed it could be. Green Fox helped me carry out my vision exactly the way I wanted it without stress, huge financial burden, or compromise.

Sandra and her team did a fabulous job organizing my sister’s wedding. They are professional, responsive, and most importantly, caring. They really came through when some last minute stressers threatened to cast a shadow on the big day.
