I’ve lived and worked in the Eastern Sierra my entire adult life. A life long passion for homes and art brought me to create this business. I love creating something from nothing or making a beautiful result for homeowners. My business focus is interior design and remodeling. The store is in Mammoth Lakes and features beautiful furniture and home décor. I love art of all types. Animals are also my passion. International travel is fun, my favorite country to visit is Italy.

Robin and her staff at Sierra Designs are a great team, so personable, caring and professional.
My husband and I strolled into the store on a Sunday and within 20 minutes time Robin was ready to come to our home to give us a consultation. She and her staff met us later that same day and we hired her on the spot.
Her ideas for design and décor were spot on.

This is probably the most special design studio I have seen in all my travels throughout the world. It is location appropriate and robin and her team are there every step of the way to ensure the highest quality service and product fro price in the market. As a global Elle and Elle Décor representative, this is my top pick in all of the Sierras. Go, get surprised. enjoy the life she presents. Her customer service is off the charts! The talented staff will lead you into any curated feel you desire. A must in the Sierras!

Robin Stater at Sierra Design Studio is the best of the best. She did our house in 1998 and it has withstood the test of time with its classic but eclectic mountain design. We’ve done some updating over the years, and always turned to Robin for help.
Her taste and talent are evident in the store, but even more so when you work with her on a design project. Who expects Moroccan doors or huge Indian chests in a Western home? — it all works beautifully. Her resources are deep and broad.
I highly recommend her, whether for a large project, clothing that is fun or a gift for someone you really like.
