Our Clients are people who want to improve their home environment for their lifestyle. That sometimes means renovating their kitchen, or maybe raising the roof of their home and inserting another floor. We work with our Clients to develop solutions that meet their needs, priorities, taste and budget.

History

Established in 1991.

Heltzelhaus was established by John F. Heltzel and although his designs are seen throughout the east coast, from New York to Florida, the majority of our construction projects are in Northern Virginia.

Meet the Business Owner

John H.

Business Owner

John begain his career in construction in the mid 80s, as a construction laborer and worked his way up to a framing and trim carpenter. He obtained a first professional degree from the School of Architecture at Virginia Tech in 1987. He completed his first design and construction project of a custom home in 1988. There are over 1,000 homes designed by John in the Northern Virginia area today.
