Joyce Koons handled my body work after an accident. They are preferred with Allstate and now preferred by me as well. Not only did they do great work, but they are very kind, and keep us informed throughout the process. Their invoice is detailed and easy to understand. Any work we need in the future, we will choose Joyce Koons Auto Body for sure!

I had to take my car to an auto body shop after an accident and Joyce Koons Auto Body was one of the approved vendors by my insurance company. I was a little hesitant at first because of their association with a car dealership, but that was a nonissue. They provided quality service at every level from beginning to end. The woman at the front desk gave me a genuine hometown greeting as soon as I walked in, which put me at ease and set the tone for a positive experience. Peter, my estimator, was phenomenal. He is very knowledgeable and was spot on about all the necessary repairs. He sent me frequent communication at every stage of the process via text messages and my car was completed on time as promised. Most important, they did great work. I hope to never need auto body service again, BUT if I do, I will definitely return to Joyce Koons Auto Body.

My car was hit by another driver. I choose Joyce Koons Auto Body because they are connected to the dealership where I purchased the car. I’m thrilled I did! I made an appoiment and they had Enterprise there waiting to get my rental. Very professional staff! They had everything waiting for me and got me on my way quickly. I really appreciate that they respect my time. They keep me updated and my car was ready when they said it would be done. When I came to pick up my car again no waiting! They reviewed all the repairs done to make sure I was completely satisfied. I keep my car in excellent condition and they did a great job returning it to me that way. It still looks as good as it did when I drove it off the showroom floor. Thank you Joyce Koons for having a excellent staff there from the manager Andrew to the receptionist and technicians. They care about the customer and it really shows! I hope I will never need them again but I will be back if the need arrises again. I will recommend you to all my friends.

Quick and easy service. They do a good job making your Honda look and feel like it did before someone hit you. Also, Enterprise will pick you up there for a rental and you can leave the rental car there when your done.

Overview: I bought a new GMC Acadia and as part of the package of material that comes with the car there was a coupon for a free dent removal from the Joyce Koons Auto Body shop. Joyce Koons attempted to cut corners in the redemption of the coupon to the point where I declined the service. I have given them one star due to the poor professionalism dealing with a coupon redemption.
Experience: I called to schedule an appointment, stopped into the shop, and the Joyce Koons gentlemen confirmed the dent (size of a nickel) qualified for the coupon. He said he would call me with an appointment to have it fixed over the next few days.
That night I got a call from Dave, who Joyce Koons contracts out to fix the dents. I agreed to meet him the next morning at another dealership so he could fix the dent. When Dave showed up he said that he would need to cut an access hole either in the door frame or on the wheel well liner in order to access the dent for the repair. When I asked him to just unscrew the liner to access it, he said that would take more time and would not be free.
I am very disappointed in the redemption of the coupon. A hack job where you cut access holes in the car to access the dent to save time so that money is not lost on the coupon is very unprofessional. When you issue a coupon, you should be prepared to properly redeem the coupon. Dave the dent repair guy said that the auto body doesn’t understand the methods for repairing a dent (really?) and didn’t understand how long it would take him to do it properly? The Joyce Koons gentlemen seemed to «know his dents» and said it would probably take an hour. Who cares how long it takes, not my problem. This coupon has Joyce Koons written all over it but it didn’t seem like Dave the dent guy expected to get paid by them. If that is the case, Joyce Koons should be better educated on their contractors capabilities.
I declined the repair service as I did not want to have have an access hole cut just to pop out a small dent.

This was my first experience with any body shop, and it was terrible. The only good thing I can say is that they fixed all the damage on my car the first time. Problem is it took almost twice as long as I was told initially.
I first came into the shop, and was told that they wouldn’t want me to drop off my car for two weeks because they had to wait for parts. As this was the shop recommended to me by my insurance company, I had to wait the two weeks or risk paying more out of pocket if more damage was found. So now I’m out two weeks already with no car.
When I dropped my car off (on a Tuesday), I was told it would be done by the next Wednesday, and that I would receive a call about the progress on either Thursday or Friday. I received no such call.
I called on the following Monday to see what was going on, assuming that no news was good news. I was wrong. My point of contact at the shop, Mike, told me that it was on schedule to be done Friday. I reminded him that Friday was 2 days BEHIND schedule. He was confused, went back and looked into what happened, and found that there was more work they found that had to be done, which was the reason for the delay. I was never notified that there would be more work, or that there was going to be a delay. I had to call myself. Strike one.
He reassured me that it would be done Friday. I was going out of town on Friday, so I asked my wife to call him and let Mike know to call her when the car was ready, as I would be unreachable. She left two messages in the morning, and got no response for hours. She then called the main shop, which wasn’t much help either. He finally called her back, only to say that they were waiting on a part, and it probably wouldn’t be done until Monday. Another delay, no call until I call myself. Strike two.
So Monday rolls around, and I’m back from my trip. All day I get no call, when I was told the part they were waiting on was a 5 – 10 minute fix once received. I called the shop around 3pm, to find that the part they were waiting on was the wrong part. I understand things happen, but why was I not notified of this? They were waiting on someone to bring them the correct part, but hadn’t received it yet. After about an hour, I got a call saying that it’s all done and I can pick it up. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was a bit dirty, with bird poop in a few places on the side. I’ve never been to a body shop, but I would figure they would rinse it off at least before I got there to make it at least look clean.
I went inside, handled the paperwork, then asked to speak to a manager. I told him about the whole thing, and he apologized, but Mike was sitting at a desk behind him the whole time. He missed his chance to save face with me. He never apologized for any of the delays the entire process. I understand things happen, but if you don’t call, man up. Strike three, you’re out!
I’m happy my car is done, and the work they did was great. I just can’t understand what’s so hard about a phone call with something like this. A little communication, and I either don’t write this review, or I praise them for the good work. A little attentiveness goes a long way.

Manager arranged my car detailing, I lost some earrings in unreachable places and didnt want to just vacuum them uo someplace. My car seats were even lifted to be thorough and the whole car had that new car smell and look to it. I am very satisfied with the service.

Joyce Koons Auto Body is one of the best body shops I’ve ever been to. Coming off the heels of some really bad repairs on my other car from another body shop, that says a lot.
Initially we had some communication issues with my 2013 Civic, but I can admit that the stress of the previous few days (and the tow company that, for some reason, couldn’t seem to tow the car out of the tow lot when they were supposed to… that’s a whole other story) probably added to it a little bit, but once those had been resolved, it was all good. They kept me informed of the status and set reasonable expectations.
Originally estimated to be completed in 9 business days, I was really glad to find out that they had completed the repairs 3 days early. The repairs they did were incredible. The car looked brand new. Based on the estimate, they were definitely thorough and you can’t tell there was even any damage to it (and trust me I looked).
Hopefully I never have to have body work done again, but if I do, I can guarantee you, I’ll go back there… unless I live in California or something like that. You get the point… they did great work.

This is the best Autobody Shop! The front office staff is polite, friendly and very attentive to their customers. The shop is clean and employed with seasoned technicians that can explain the work that needs to be done in simple terms. As a female, I felt safe dropping my brand new car off with them and I was confident the work would be done right. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and it was ready by Friday morning! It looked FANTASTIC! Thank you Joyce Koons Autobody!
