So I found Excel Pest control a few years back as we had moved from RRock to the dirrrty South side of Austin.
I was looking for someone to treat the house in a very fashion that ABC Pest Control had, but with less cost, and better service. I am not hating on Bobby Jenkins nor his outfit, but as they grew B-I-G, ABC had gotten expensive and impersonal, and I was desparate for a change. There is a reason the guys lives in Pemberton Heights, right?
So since you all know I have the luv for shopping with the local peeps, I checked out Excel — just because I saw a banner they advertised at Bowie HS.
Gye Hutson came out to the house and game me his speil. Actually, a speil is long-winded and extravagant, and this was not. Gye brought his soft sell A-game which to me means; here’s who we are. take it or leave it, we’re not big, but we are flexible, nimble, and effective. What I found out over time was;
* It is a small outfit, with great employees who care = more personalized service. Wife Rachel has been impressed with each person that has entered our home,
* Flexible schedules with a reminder call the day before = perfect for our busy lives,
* same pest control chemicals that are effective, yet safe for our pets and kiddos,
* slight price reduction… and …DRUM ROLL PLEASE… YES! WE HAVE A WINNER!
