I wish I could give a ½ star for a job ½ done. My neighbors contracted these guys to do the fence between our homes. I was paying ½ however I was never contacted by the company. I reached out to them to understand the quote and then the price ended up being higher. My neighbor checked the wrong box so they didn’t finish my side of the fence and instead of coming over or calling me they relayed the message through my neighbor. It’s great to hear from your neighbor you have to pay an additional $ 250 and take another day off work to get the job done! I had to pay to have someone at my home all day the day of construction and they never even bothered to knock on the door, just did the ½ way done job then left it. To add insult to injury we had grapevines growing on the fence which I was told would just be removed… nope! They were all taken off the old fence and thrown in my yard on the ground! It took me several hours to chop them up and drag them to the front yard. It was a terrible way to come home, to a ½ finished fence and a trashed backyard! My ½ fence was $ 852.50…great for my neighbor but a terrible experience for me. I was told «we never contact the neighbors» by Jameson and they seemed completely unconcerned by the total wreck they left my yard in. I would say pay $ 20 more and go with literally anyone else. They have no pride in their work and they don’t care about their clients or their satisfaction at all!

This company is legit! I did my research and although it was a big job for me at just over 50 foot of fence extension on new construction, it wasn’t big enough for most every other fence company in the area. The owner was onsite the morning of the job to ensure that the fence was put exactly the way we wanted it. The workers were top notch professionals who did an amazing job! Better materials and workmanship then the rest of the fence done during initial construction. It was kind of warm outside and a weekend so I greeted the workers with a nice cold beer. To my surprise, they didn’t touch them until the job was complete! That’s professionalism!
The price was right and the workmanship was second to none, I have found my fence and roof company for life!

Happy to give 5 stars to Patriot Fence. Courteous and responsive customer service backed by a hard working and talented crew. When I needed to replace a 20 year old wooden fence, they offered a competitive estimate and then were very responsive to any questions I had or changes I needed to make along the way. They showed up 15 minutes early, the work was done in one day, and my new fence looks great. Would highly recommend.

We worked with Jameson, got a quote in September, slated to start work in November. They were delayed by rain, but they kept us informed of the schedule at all times. When they started, the work completed was top notch. We used two crews — one to fix a bullwire fence we had installed by another terrible fence/​deck company in town, as well as replace the existing perimeter privacy fence that had worn over many years. They also refinished a front deck, taking off a rail, leveling the deck, and creating new stadium stairs. When I had issues with specific items in the middle of the project, Jameson handled it professionally, as did his crews, and promptly fixed it to our satisfaction. Fence and decking is expensive, but these guys are worth the price for the level of professionalism and quality of work. We highly recommend!

This is my second experience with Patriot Fence — the first was a small addition to an existing fence that came out great and now this one was a full backyard wood fence for two adjoining properties. Patriot made the most beautiful horizontal cedar wood fence with stair-​stepped look to accommodate the slope. The price was UNBEATABLE. They got the design exactly right and were very accomodating. The only part that was just OK was the stone masonry columns that were outsourced. But you can get your own mason and then use Patriot for the fence! Great work for a great price!

I am extremely pleased to have used patriot fence. The entire team from Jameson, to the office staff, the foreman and crew were above my expectations. I would use them again and would recommend to my closest friends and family.

We just moved into a new-​to-​us house in August and the fence was falling down. We contacted a few companies and Patriot Fence had the lowest bid by far. They were communicative throughout the whole process, finished the work quickly, and have been very responsive after the fact with a few things that needed tweaking. I would hire them again… but with our beautiful new fence we won’t have to!

I set up an appointment for some estimates (free) to either replace or repair a stretch of wood privacy fence shared with a neighbor. These were handled swiftly and the results were less than estimates from other firms, plus Patriot had a good rep from neighborhood groups and Unilocal.I opted for the simpler, cheaper repair job so I could save some money for some other work later, perhaps a deck, which they also do. The workers showed up a week later and did the job carefully and thoroughly. Nice guys to work with, the office staff are particularly helpful and obliging, Patriot Fence gets my best recommendation and they sincerely want to be THE go-​to fence business for South Austin. They get my support!

Had a neighbor use Patriot Fence for a similar project, so I decided to reach out to them for a quote in mid-​July and was slotted for a mid-​August start date. Quote came in less than others, which was my neighbor had experienced as well.
Throughout the process, Patriot Fence was very responsive to any questions I had. The crew arrived a day earlier than anticipated (I was notified that this would happen). While I had a fairly small fence project, they started at 11:30 and were done by 6:30. The fence was built according to my specifications and was of good quality materials & workmanship.
I’d highly recommend Patriot Fence for any custom fence building projects.

Patriot Fence did a wonderful job with our fence. Their back office was terrific — always available via phone and very responsive. Our red cedar cap and trim fence is perfectly proportioned to match a section of existing fence. Patriot carefully went over their work to make sure that the boards were top quality and all of the transitions were trued up and beautiful. Thank you!

Patriot Fence just did our backyard fence and we were extremely pleased with their work. They are extremely detailed oriented and did not overlook any details. We decided not to remove a tree that sat right in the path of where the new fence would go, and I knew this would compromise the «look» of the new fence, but it did not, as they actually made perfect cut outs of the wood so that the fence would come very close to the trunk — making it seamless all around. I definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future!

Called Jameson for replacing the currently rotting wood fence with part wood and part wrought iron. 2 days later I have a quote in my email and a phone call following up. Very clear up front on what he can do and when (2 weeks out during the summer). The prices are very reasonable compared to six other quotes that I got. Crew (Cesar) calls ahead and shows up on time and does the job in 2 days — asking when they needed to take down some tree branches and they also picked up after themselves. Noticed the cedar panels are not builder grade 4″ but much wider, they actually used ring shank nails, gates are braced across and fence looks really good. Very honest company. Office staff (Joann/​Kayla) were a pleasure to deal with. No BS. Wish they did more than fences as good building contractors are so very hard to find.

Patriot Fence is an honest company that stands behind their work. I was very impressed with their ability to work with us when I pushed to have the work done sooner. They also came back and fixed any issue I had with the work. The workers were courteous, timely and did their best. We installed a fence to match another one that was already there and a set of stair off of a deck. They did a custom rail to match the old one. It came out exactly like the old one. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Patriot Fence did a great job replacing the old builder grade fence around my home. I gave them special instructions and they were followed to a T. There has bee so much rain I really was impressed how updated they kept me about our installation date and Joann in their office was a star with communication so I knew what was happening and when. The installation went incredibly smoothly, Jameson and Cesar really did a fantastic job and in just two days I had a beautiful new fence exactly as promised. Great value for the product and service. I would definitely recommend Patriot Fence.

We are in the process of selling our home and our realtor suggested we contact Patriot Fence to have them determine the cost of replacing our rickety old fence.
Jameson came out and provided an accurate quote that once the work was comleted, came out to be exactly as quoted– no surprises. The work was done in one day and now my back yard looks amazing. Its a bit sad as it reminds me of how our house first looked when we first built it and our children were younger. I am so thankful for the beautiful restoration my fence so badly needed. I would recommend them to anyone!

What a disappointment. The forman was so inappropriate. He screamed at his workers most of the day. At 955 at night he was still hammering and we hadvto tell him to stop. He did not comeback and finish. He left concrete splashed all over the walls of the house. He left dry concrete in the grass of the front yard. He left the gate hardware off and promised to be back the next day. No show. Everywhere he pulled up the flowerbed edging, he left it out. The pickets did not all meet the ground and my dog got out.
Poor supervision by the owner. Several days later someone else was sent out to finish.
Enough said. Look further.

We had both side gates of our new house replaced with cedar pickets and steel posts. Jameson was quick to provide a reasonable estimate. When we wanted the work done sooner, the office staff were able to put us on the schedule sooner without an issue, which was super customer service. The two-​man crew worked quickly, professionally, and did a great job cleaning up afterward. Our gates are beautiful and are built very well. Neighbors have commented on the beauty and quality of the work performed. Thank you, Patriot Fence!!!

Can’t complain about the price, that’s for sure. However, I didn’t get exactly what I wanted either. My side entrance was supposed to have a larger gate, which I was quoted for, and the guy doing the work kept telling me he couldn’t do it.
After he left I did it myself. I would still use them again, because the price was so good and they were so quick.

I’ve never worked so hard to try to spend money with a company, and they just didn’t seem to care. Had Jameson out to do a quote on our fence, as I wanted 3 quotes for my due diligence. He came a week after calling at the scheduled time, said he’d have a quote to me that day. two days later, I sent an email, nothing. 3 days later called and sent an email, still nothing. So finally 9 days later I get a quote and a sorry.
I tend to think that if a company is that slow to get your business, how are they going to be once they have your money. So I went another way.

I used Jameson and his staff, at Patriot Fence, about a year ago for a minor repair and they did a wonderful job for a fair price in the middle of August. Unfortunately, I’ve contacted Patriot Fence about six months ago as I needed additional repairs and never received a return phone call. On 2−25−13 I called after the high winds destroyed about 40′ of fence and the receptionist assured me that she would have a crew out on 2 – 26 to repair/​replace the fence but they never showed nor did anyone at this establishment return multiple messages I left for them – after losing an entire day of pay waiting on them to show up.
This organization is a joke and obviously work is so good they can pick and choose what jobs they want to perform.
Patriot Fence obviously didn’t learn the lessons many contractors learned during the construction boom years in the mid-80’s here in Austin and the bust afterwards. Six months from now; they will be out of work and out of business because of their poor reputation for sub-​standard customer service.

I bid out to three different fence builders to rework our broken fence. Patriot came in with the most honest quote. Joey was friendly and easy to deal with. They weren’t the cheapest, but seemed competent (and weren’t that much more expensive than the cheapest quote). Joey was also the only one who called to follow up after the quote was provided.
Pedro showed up to work a few days after we agreed to do the job and didn’t disappoint. As most contractor jobs go, he didn’t show up exactly as early as they had planned so the job took a day longer than anticipated. It was worth it.
Pedro tore the fence down, dug new holes, set the posts, and put on all the pickets by himself. The fence looks so good, you’d think it was done by a team. He was careful to ask how we wanted the top or the bottom to look as our ground isn’t exactly level. We discussed and his execution was perfect. I’ll post a picture of the finished product. It appears they used quality materials (the fence hasn’t been up for too many weeks), and Pedro even showed an attention to detail with the spacing and centering of the nails.
I liked them enough I’ve already called Joey back about a gate in my chainlink fence.
