This is my favorite coffee place in Manchester by far. The coffee is delicious. I mostly stick to their monthly specials which are usually really creative and different, instead of just relying on being sickeningly sweet. Also their egg sandwiches are really good. I do wish they had a little more seating, but I guess there’s nothing they can really do about that.

Customer service is defiantly great. Not the best though They have great selections of light roasts and keep it as fresh as possible closest to the roasting date but if your a fan of darker roasts your out of luck which I get it’s a business descion They do not have a lot of room though. Which is alright because the place never seems to get fully crowded. Very few sugar free syrup selections. But they put more importance on having the coffee actually taste good so you don’t need it Really wish they did pour over with dark roasts though. They have the best tea anywhere around though.

-$ 6.31 for a large, flavored iced latte is the most expensive I’ve ever seen; not sure what the difference is between frozen and iced –No skim milk is odd –Tasty, creamy but enough taste of espresso: good for a non milk foam iced latte –Nice atmosphere inside, relaxing music albeit a tad loud –More hanging lights –Little cactuses near the window –Smells nice –Tan coloring everywhere –Small, not great for sitting –Sell their own roasted coffee and some equipment –Employee was patient dealing with limited English customers –Minimal art, just colorful blotches –Newspapers lingering and maybe a chess set –Blueberry muffin tasted better than store bought, but still fairly heavy on the sugar; more fresh –This place is alright; cute but only worth visiting if you don’t have a favorite coffee shop in Manchester already(I’m still looking)

Best coffee in town, and it’s REALLY good coffee. I just wish the shop was a little bigger. I enjoy going to A&E because it’s where I run into my favorite people. Wonderful staff.

While I agree with most all of the reviews about the quality of the coffee and food, I can’t give it 5 stars because the indoor seating is a joke. Yes, there is seating for 4 – 6 people, but it is really impossible to work on a computer. If you just want a cup of Joe and to read great… but if you want to work or study you should go somewhere else. I would call this more of a coffee to go shop.

I had half an hour to try a few things before meeting some friends so I ordered the Pour-over(they recommended a Kenyan blend) and a double espresso shot. My GF had a blueberry muffin and Chai Tea Latte. Everything was very well crafted! Espresso: They measured things a little strange but they make way more espresso than me so i won’t challenge this. The shot pulled well and the mouthfeel was spot on. Probably the best espresso shot I’ve had in a while in mouthfeel and overall thickness. However, the taste was acidic, vegetable and old chocolate. I don’t think the beans were old, just a strange blend. 6⁄10 Pour-Over this was exceptional. Brew time was as expected(3 – 4 minutes) for a 16 ounce cup. No acidity, absolutely zero off-flavors and had this dark chocolate taste to it. I’m not some expert taster but I was really impressed. I want to go back and buy some of their beans, at least some of the Kenyan before this batch runs out. Rarely is a pour-over life changing but these guys did a fantastic job 10⁄10 Chai Tea Latte They used loose-leaf tea and set a timer using an hour-glass. Then steamed almond milk and the consistency of the steam was perfect. I’m not into these but my GF and I both recognized how delicious it was. The pastry she had was also moist and bursting with flavor. 8⁄10 It’s a shame I live so far north of this café. If I was local, it may challenge my @ home brewing ritual. I’d highly recommend any Coffee lovers in southern New Hampshire checking it out.

Great tea and what seems to be very popular coffee if I was a fan. I usually refrain to use this term but this coffee shop seems to draw quite the hipster crowd. While they may have better beverages here it is quite and awkward layout for marketing themselves as a Wi-Fi café(where people usually would do work) they barely have any place to sit and on the contrary to the typical café coffee house atmosphere, it is rather loud in here. The seats are very uncomfortable and if you are sitting inside you are positioned so you are facing the line of people waiting for the coffee. Not to sound like a Debbie downer because if the purpose of my visit wasn’t to mainly crank out projects on my laptop I would be digging this place. I honestly really like the atmosphere it’s chill and seems like a good hang out or meeting spot but it’s definitely not a place to go to if you are trying to be productive.

Always awesome! Organic, fair trade & shade grown coffee. Baristas are knowledgable & as great as the coffee. They sell beans by the bag and an assortment of coffee & tea products! Indoor seating is limited but there is also outdoor seating during warm weather season. Best of all, they now have nitro brew on tap! Anyone who enjoys good coffee and wants to support local businesses, this is a must!

Love the Dark Mocha Latte! Great place. Sometimes they have live music outside and it is a great place to sit on a nice day and jam out. Overall one of the best places to get coffee on Elm. And there are a lot of options!

Saw this place and figured I would give it a try. Cute location… It’s small and kinda quaint. I was excited bc I saw they had organic coffee beans. So I ordered a coffee and she put artificial sweetener in it! If you are gonna be an organic place don’t have anything artificial in it! It was the worst coffee I have ever tasted and it wasn’t even worth what I paid for it! The prices are kinda high and I could get cheaper and better coffee elsewhere. I couldn’t even finish the coffee… I had to throw it away after the first sip! It was awful… Never going there again and I hope nobody else does either.

A really top-quality coffee shop in the heart of Manchester. Probably the best coffee in town. What really sets this place apart are the impressive selection of DIY coffee equipment, and many unique drinks they offer, from earl grey hot chocolate to almond turtle lattes. Only downsides are limited indoor seating and relatively high prices. They do have outdoor seating, but it isn’t particularly comfortable. And this is New Hampshire… you usually want to be inside.

Ginger Cortada = YES! This is a quaint little stop in Manchester with a friendly atmosphere and a quality product. I got the special of the day(ginger cortada)…very good! Excellent balance of flavor and sweetness. As for the coffee, it was an obvious quality roast. This place is an easy recommend.

Hands down the best coffee shop in New Hampshire. They are the only shop within an hour’s drive that takes their coffee seriously from their roasting process to their pour-overs and espresso drinks in the shop. On top of that they always have delicious pastries and a fantastic staff. Stop in Friday evenings for music or art.

A&E Coffee & Tea is a great option for coffee and tea in Downtown Manchester. This little coffee shop opened about a month ago in the former J Dubs Coffee space under new ownership, next door to Thousand Crane at Brady Sullivan Plaza. The newly renovated shop is really cozy and inviting and there are a few seats inside the shop and a couple tables outside in front. This is the second location for A&E Coffee with the original shop A&E Custom Coffee Roastery located along NH101A in Amherst. Some of the drink offerings here include fresh brewed hot coffee(self serve carafes), espresso drinks, lattes, chai, tea drinks, hot chocolate, iced coffee & tea, ice & frozen lattes, smoothies, and specialty drinks(Nut & Honey Latte, Dark Mocha Latte, Almond Turtle Latte, Blueberry Muffin Au Lait, Hopped Toddy-specialty here, and others). Fresh baked goods(behind glass case under counter) and oatmeal are also offered here too. They also sell fresh roasted coffee, tea, travel mugs, and coffee supplies. Whole Foods Market in Nashua also sells A&E Coffee. I’ve enjoyed A&E Coffee which is brewed at several establishments throughout NH including at the Hilltop Café in Wilton. After a morning meeting in Manchester, I stopped for a break at A&E Coffee & Tea to get some caffeine in my system. I got a Large Dark Roast Coffee($ 2.25 plus tax) to go, which was a Mokha Java Blend(Organic). The fresh brewed coffee was really good which had a robust smooth flavor. This is just what I needed to recharge and continue my long workday ahead. Custom Cup Card: Buy 10 Drinks Get One Free
