I have been going to this barber shop for over 15 years. I began going there when the barber was Jerry. When Jerry retired and Alex took over I continued going there. I have never gotten a bad haircut! I live in Merrimack and have tried a couple local shops over the years but have always returned to Alex. It’s worth the extra drive to Manchester.

I’ve been coming here Since Alex took over the shop; must be since around 2003. Later, when he got married, he trained his wive Natasha to cut hair. Now they have two kids and thoughts of expanding. Alex is the best barber I’ve ever had and I am in my 50’s. Natasha is the kindest gentlest soul you’ll ever meet. Good people. Good haircuts.

I stopped by my regular barber and the shop was closed, but there was a sign on the window that said, «For a haircut go to 54 Massabesic Street». Being adventurous, I did what the sign said. Outside the shop at 54 Massabesic are two signs. One says, Jerry’s Barber Shop”. The other, newer one says, «Barber Shop UNO». Inside are a husband and wife team, Alec and Natasha. Both of them cut hair. Alec runs the place and seems to coach Natasha on the finer points of cutting. Natasha cut my hair, trimmed my ears, offered to trim my middle-​aged eye brows (I declined), and shaved my neck. Very professional. Very precise. Very inexpensive ($ 12). I’ll be back.
