History

Established in 2012.

Door-​to-​Door Delivery is dedicated to a very special woman, my mother, Lucy Correa. This year my mother was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS*), otherwise known as Lou Gehrig Disease.

My mother Lucy was born in Colombia but later moved to the United States in the hopes that with hard work and dedication she would be able to uncover opportunities that were not available to her in her home country. She persevered and stayed committed to the dream that she could be whatever she sought out to be, and happened to find a love in teaching, and was a teacher in the Manchester, NH school district for the last 28 years.

This ideology that my mother has lead her life with, has also been passed along to her children. She wanted to provide my brother and I a life of hope and opportunity, in which great things could result with a focus on education and hard work. Through her lessons to me, I have learned the value in all the advantages that I have, that she didn’t, and want
