Small and cozy shop that offers all fresh baked goods. The service was awesome and the shop was clean. The food tasted sooooooooooo good and fresh. I can’t state enough how fresh it all was. I highly recommend this small gem! :-)

First time by this place. OK, I have to say this. $ 4.25 for ONE donut w/​maple frosting. Really? I seriously did not see any difference than getting a glazed donut from Dunkin. The menu was pretty limited and I just thought the prices were way too high for what you get. It was ok, but not great.

I’ve been here about 10 times, always get the same thing. The Bakershop Grill Cheese, best taste sandwich I ever had. They have a really nice staff and the service is always great ! Highly Recommended !

A hidden gem! I have never had a pastry from here that I did not love. Their cheesecake is also fantastic. The sandwiches are tasty and made to order exactly how we ask. The iced coffee is bold but not bitter.

This was a nice, little place to have a quiet lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I had the chicken tortellini soup, which was a little sour, but other than that it was good. Also had the egg salad sandwich, which was very yummy. My husband had the corn chowder, which he said was a little bland and the grilled cheese and ham with tomato, which he said was good. We also bought a bunch of pastries, which we took to go. Would definitely come back.

Stumbled on this lovely bakery while visiting St Anslems and had the BEST breakfast sandwiches ever. The freshly made english muffins and the freshly made bagels make it extra special. I wish I could have packed the car full of all the fresh baked goods, too! There’s street parking and inside a few nice tables by the window to enjoy your treats. The ladies working there are so friendly and helpful. A true delight.

Fresh hot apple cider donuts are Amazing! Went here a few times this past fall specifically for this treat, but have not tried anything else. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. I will be making another visit here shortly!

Really good experience at this bakery. The cannoli was made-​to-​order and delicious. The service was excellent. The chocolate croissant was scrumptious and paired well with my coffee. I’ll definitely be back. other menu items looked equally tempting.

First off, the freshly made hot cider donut holes are amazing and not getting them would be a big mistake. They come in the options of getting 6 or 12. They are absolutely delightful! They also have many other tasty sweet treats. I always leave with far more sweets than I expected to get going in.
The imported salami and smoked Gouda sandwich is also a great option. The homemade chicken and tortellini soup is fantastic as well. The bacon potato soup is loaded with bacon. It’s a broth based soup, rather than the traditional cream based. It’s very good!
The staff is always very pleasant. The shop offers a few specials daily. I always call my orders in and it’s ready when I arrive. I highly recommend trying them!

The Bakeshop on Kelley Street is a friendly, casual, low key neighborhood bakery. They may not have the fancy, trendy display of other bakeries, but the quality of the food is amazing. I’m totally addicted to her scones! The lunch menu is great as well. Love the Veggie and the ham and boursin. I hope they stay around for a long time. A great place to have on the west side!

Took a morning jog across the river. Stayed for the outdoor seating and mint iced tea, working a crossword puzzle before heading home.

Most amazing sweets in the area! I was lucky enough to have these sweet delightful cupcakes at my wedding in 2011, and not only were they an eye catching display to everyone at the wedding but they were so delish everyone wanted 2 and 3 more to take home! Thank you so much!

Apple cider donuts. Need more proof of heaven on earth? Apple cider donut holes. But more on that later.
This Bakeshop is phenomenal. The staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are totally reasonable and everything I’ve tried has been carby goodness. While they offer breakfast and lunch options with a handful of tables for eating in, the real draw are (as the name would suggest) the baked goods. I had the opportunity to sample a few different things and not a single one disappointed. They have a smattering of options ranging from cookies to scones (the blueberry was perfect) to muffins to donuts and beyond.
But let’s get back to the most important part… apple cider donuts. I have this compulsion. If I see an apple cider donut, I have to try it. Years and years of New England apple picking in the fall has conditioned me to expect only a few short months to enjoy this seasonal treat. So imagine my inner fat kid’s sheer delight to find somewhere that offers this favorite year round. The Bakeshop on Kelley Street has the absolute best ACD that I have ever tried, and believe me, I’ve tried a lot.
Instead of being dense and cakey like some places, this rendition feels more like a rounded part donut part fritter. You get the crunch of the fry and delicious apple flavor. They were absolutely unbeatable. So imagine my surprise when I popped in one day and the kind lady working the counter told me I should really bring some of the apple cider donut holes to an office party I had to attend. She promised they’d be a definite crowd pleaser and urged me to get half cinnamon sugar/​half apple cider holes. Umm– okay, twist my arm. I was informed they were made fresh to order and would take about 5 – 10 minutes. And that is how a short 10 minutes later, I had a piping hot box full of deliciousness and a new favorite bakery.
You owe it to yourself to stop in and try these if you are even a little bit close to Manchester. in fact, I’m contemplating the hour drive from Boston as I type.

Just had the cider doughnut holes and WOWZAS they were fantastic! They were fried as I waited and when I got them they were so hot I had to take it slow. Best cider doughnuts I’ve ever had — usually at other places they’re too plain for me (which is annoying and disappointing). I’ll be back for some more of these! I’ve also had a raspberry Napoleon and that was good, too.

Stopped in today to people-​watch by the window with a coffee (good, with flavor shots available) and a breakfast sandwich.
I chose egg, smoked gouda, lettuce and tomato on a fresh sundried tomato & basil bagel. The egg, fried and folded, did have some excess oil which dripped onto my plate for my first few bites, but I quickly got over my initial turn-​off. Best ever breakfast sandwich.
Wish they offered croissants, but they had such a great offering of baked goods and pastries I got to check out while I waited. Just enough to have a good variety and a difficult time deciding, but not so many that I worried about how long each thing had been sitting there.
I got my daughter a super cute «cookie monster», which looked similar to the real dude, made with two cookies sealed together with frosting I believe, or buttercream. She didn’t save me a bite.
My three items were only $ 9. I’ll be back for hot fresh homemade mini doughnuts for the kids on a weekend morning, loaves of fresh baked bread, and to-​go coffees. For the record, o think their coffee prices are the same as Dunks, but for better coffee. Support the local businesses in your neighborhood, people.

I was really excited to check out this sweet neighborhood bakery after reading about their fresh made donut holes in The Hippo, the local arts newspaper. We ordered a dozen apple cider donuts and they are made to order, which is so awesome!
Unfortunately, it seemed like the oil was not hot enough when the dough was added to the vat, because the holes were mushy and greasy almost all the way through. What a bummer!
However, the café itself is super adorable, the staff was absolutely friendly, and all the goods on the shelves and under the glass were drool worthy. I wish I bought an éclair while I was there!
I will give this place another shot, for sure.

Been to the bakeshop probably 10 times now and I’ve had a great experience every time. I’ve had most of the food now and most of the beverages so I’ll try to just tell you each of the reasons you should go and the food you can expect.
First let me say, if you want a great place to grab breakfast /​lunch you’ll find better service and a better environment (imo) than a popular breakfast place that sits just across the block from the bakeshop.
Breakfast: I recommend the Bacon, Egg, and Smoked Gouda (other cheese’s offered) on homemade, fresh, everything bagel.
The Iced Tea is excellent, Iced Coffee too, offering large and jumbo sizes. They also have a «Sparkling Ice» sparkling water beverage in the cooler which is super refreshing. Wrap it up w/​a beautiful raspberry napoleon or tasty chocolate chip cannoli!
Lunch: Try the amazing Imported Salami with Smoked Gouda Tomato and a Balsamic Reduction, add what you’d like, sprouts, onions… The bread is fresh of course and is also quite nice with the Grilled Cheese, Tomato with the ham/​bacon option. Sides include potato chips, homemade broccoli salad, potato salad, cole slaw. I’ve had the potato and the broccoli with a sweet dressing and sliced almond, both great. Chips are store bought, cole slaw will be my next to try !
Lastly, in addition to quaint indoor seating, they have a great outdoor seating area on Kelley St. with good sun. The service is always friendly and quick. My new spot for breakfast with a ‘sweet’ finish

The Bakeshop On Kelley Street is a cute little bakery in Rimmon Heights (West Manchester) which offers fresh baked breads, bagels, English muffins, muffins, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, pies, cheesecake, fruit bars, scones, fudge, chocolate dipped strawberries, eclairs, cream puffs, and other homemade sweet treats. The cannolis are made fresh to order. The Cookie Monster frosted treats look pretty cool! They also offer homemade soups, chili, chowder, sandwiches, Café Du Jour Coffee, tea, spiced chai, and cold drinks from the Pepsi cooler.
This place is very cozy and there are few tables inside and outside in front (during nicer weather). The Bakeshop has been open for almost one year, which opened on February 9, 2010. Back in August, the first ever Carrotmob in New England was held at this bakery raising funds for the bakery to reduce its energy consumption. I drive along Kelley Street quite a bit and I’ve stopped in here a few times already to get my sweet tooth fix! Before posting this review, I’ve had to try several items which are not fancy, but just taste good. The fig bars are big with lots of sweet/​tart fig filling oozing out between 2 layers of flaky pie crust. The scones are just sweet enough, but not too sweet, a good crumbly texture. The crème de menthe brownie (green in the middle) is very good! The napoleon has layers of creamy filling & fresh fruit (strawberries or blueberries) and sheets of pastry. The fish chowder is very good which has a hot cream broth with chunks of potatoes, and plenty of real haddock, served with pieces of buttered bread and oyster crackers.
But, what really brings me in here are the HOT MINI DOUGHNUTS, which are made hot and fresh to order (in about 4 minutes) and mixed with cinnamon sugar, crisp on the outside and softer inside, melt in your mouth good. I must enjoy immediately with a strong cup of dark roast coffee. Bring your own travel mug for savings and to help the environment.
Some of the baked goods and breads are packaged ahead of time for convenience and labeled with the full name of the owner «Denise» of The Bakeshop On Kelley Street, who has the same name as an actress from one of my all time favorite classic movies about a chocolate factory, chewing bubble gum, and big blueberries. I haven’t spotted any singing oompa loompas working in the bakery or rolling blueberries, just a friendly staff diligently serving their customers. The owner will go out of her way to make the visit enjoyable.
