Everything was okay. The breakfast sandwiches were ordinary(not flavorful); the coffee mediocre; and the non-cozy seating in the building’s atrium. I’ve had much better. Though the service was friendly and attentive.

Great tasting, fresh sandwiches and soups! The staff is always quick and friendly. The only thing I would wish for is more seating but with this location it can’t happen. It would be great if they moved to a new location that allowed more than 3 pairs of people to eat.

Very friendly, stuffed wraps with great coffee and a bluberry muffin. The location reminds me of lazy days in Europe. The indoor seating is nice and calming. They have outside sidewalk seating in the summer. Cost was fair and again the food was fresh and mouth watering.

One of my go to stops for lunch. The wraps are always stuffed and tasty and the breakfast options are a nice step up from other local stops.

Midtown Café is a great addition to downtown Manchester in that it has yummy scrambled eggs(with your choice of 3 veggies and cheese) and also a good selection of sandwiches. My personal favorite is scrambled eggs in a wheat wrap with tomatoes, peppers, and spinach. I have to eat it fast, since it starts getting drippy everywhere if I don’t… It is a filling and tasty breakfast. For lunch I’ve tried the lam sandwich which is filled with lots and lots of veggies. Good value and definitely a place I like to go when I want a quick lunch or tasty scrambled wrap.

The Midtown Café at the Beacon is now open inside the Beacon building on Elm Street serving breakfast and lunch. The hours(in 2011) are Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM. This café is owned and operated by the Red Arrow Diner, which also has its business office in the same building across the hallway. The café itself is a very small shop consisting of an order counter with a grill/food and drink preparation area. The outside seating on the sidewalk in front of the building. Java Tree coffee drinks, espresso, cappuccinos, tea, sandwiches, paninis, salads, breakfast items, and a few baked goods from the Red Arrow Diner are offered here. See the menu at I stopped in here for breakfast recently and ordered a Veggie Scramble(choice of wrap, choice of up to 3 vegetables & choice of cheese). The wrap was prepared fresh to order on the grill and I had my breakfast to go in about 5 minutes after placing my order. I also used a promotional coupon for $ 2 off the wrap, compliments of the Red Arrow Diner. This breakfast wrap(wheat) was really delicious with fluffy soft scrambled eggs, fresh shredded veggies(spinach, carrots, & red roasted peppers) & melted Swiss cheese. The watermelon wedge on the side was a nice touch to cleanse the palette. I will definitely to try get here for lunch, if I happen to be in Manchester during the day.
