OK — Very long wait for Customer Service. If you really want to go to Bed, Bath & Beyond — Bypass this little outpost and proceed to the flagship store in Westbury, Long Island — its about 15 – 20 minutes away; better parking and way better of a selection. Again — this is just a small outpost.

I never thought I’d be writing a bad review about a Bed, Bath & Beyond but this place left me utterly disgusted and shocked.
Right of the bat the woman behind the customer service desk refused to believe that they carried the item i was looking for after telling her multiple times that i saw it on their site and had to go so far as to pull it up on my phone as to which she replied very rudely, «oh well I guess we do have it».
Next it took her about 15 minutes to look around the store for it and eventually told me they’re out of stock. I then asked her if I could order one, and the sigh and look she gave me was like I just asked her to give me her freaking kidney.
I’m going through the process of giving her all my info to order this item, shipping and billing etc. finally get to swipe my card and she says my billing address is wrong and asks for the information again and once again I swipe my card. Again she said it’s not working. She calls another woman over who to my disbelief if even ruder than she is. She just walks about and says what does she want like I’m not even standing there and then tells me «You obviously don’t know my billing address», I then replied I would hope I would I’ve lived there for 20 years. Too which she replied «whatever». A GROWN woman in retail responded to me like this. Anywho long long story short they keep making me swipe my card until I finally say screw it and want to run away at this point and the woman FORCES me to keep trying to order it at the store. I kept telling her I’ll just go home and do it and she told me no lets get this over with and do it now. Anywho a couple days later check my bank account and they charged me for the same item 4 times and ended up shipping it to the wrong address. Good work ladies…
Ps. Did I mention there was a worker walking around with a trash bag that smelled horrible and was yelling quite loudly «where should I put this mess I had to clean up in the bathroom.»
Yup. Never again.

Ok so you get 20% off coupons that don’t expire, and you can find good deals during post-​season clearance sales, but at the cost of customer service? It aeems that they are packing in the merchandise like some dollar stores without the bargains… There is no room to maneuver your cart in the aisles and forget it if there are two customers in the same aisle. Even the clearance prices are higher than they used to be which makes it less of a deal maker. The store feels dirty, unorganized,
And over-​crowded, and there is always a long checkout line. The customer service people are standing around looking busy. There was a help-​wanted sign up today. Plus I’ve seen the same merchandise at other bargain stores at way less prices. Like the big 6′ beach towels i’ve seen for $ 10 elsewhere, same ones. No thanks.

BAD SERVICE STARTS AT THE TOP.
Me & my wife have visited this store many times in the past. The long lineups, the standard attitudes, we were all OK with.
But our last visit, the manager, BRYAN, checked a price for me in the Clearance section. There was no label, and no discount. In disbelief, my wife found him later and asked again. Bryan was using the company phone for personal reasons, paused to take our question with an annoyed tone, saying «why are you coming back here asking me for this price? WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO DO?!»
I hardly get mad at retail staff, but I was pretty furious! I replied, you are a public company that likes FALSELY ADVERTISING PRODUCTS? As a manager, there’s a whole lot you can do to take responsibility for a lack of price transparency. I asked for his last name, and he refused to give it.
I guess he’s always being asked for his last name…

Can this place put anything else into the middle aisle? Good gosh two carts cannot pass each other. Its likes playing chicken with shopping carts.
This place does have a lot of everything for the Bed, Bath and Beyond (where the hell is beyond… cant they clarify this? oh, Beyond is that other stuff that they get you to buy that really you don’t need. Most of the time if your here and your think you need something… walk away and I swear after 10 minutes of looking around you will not even remember what you walked away from. The best thing
to do when visiting this store is to have a list and stick to the script, otherwise you may walk out with one of those self opening trash cans or some other item from the impulse area which you really do not need.
And seriously, if its Bed, Bath and Beyond… why is the first thing you see Ninja Kitchen Systems. Right… that’s the Beyond. Someone’s marketing degree at work.

I don’t like these stores usually. Too many brands stocked up by label instead of function, just too much stress. I much prefer to do all my shopping online now. But my cousin registered here and well, I let it go too long so I was stuck. I get the long confusing list chosen registry items and try to look for what I need. I pick out two things only now I have no idea where to find them. As usual, there are very few people in the store. I find one man very busy doing stock, but I took a chance and asked for a point in the right direction at least. He was very pleasant and happy to do so. He stopped what he was doing and began to give me directions but rightly read that I was in distress. You know, they don’t even number of isles anymore and everything is just a ploy to get you to look at the stuff you didn’t come in for the first place. It makes you feel manipulated and used. Well anyway, I was very grateful to Bernard who dropped everything to walk me to my item with a smile in his eyes and a skip in his step. It made me think of how I would shop more if the customer service was always this good. I wound up leaving with my gift wrapped items in less than no time, and even a few thoughts on some items I may return for. I wanted to leave a good word with Bernard’s manager, but after waiting near her a couple minutes she was too busy to look up.
(Stop working your employees so hard! Jeez, I’d happily frequent a place if I knew someone would be at least available like Bernard was. The happy, chipper stuff is gravy but pay someone $ 15 an hour to just help customers.)

Although this Triple B is not nearly as good as Westbury, for a few household items it’s fine. Avoid it like the plague on the weekends. The layout is a bit awkward because it’s basically on top of a grocery store and is split into two levels. They also don’t have a Harmon beauty or grocery section. Don’t even bother to walk inside unless your armed with your coupons. For larger selections head to the Westbury store.

this place is like any other Bed Bath and Beyond, when you arrive you get to take the escalators up and even the wagon gets its own escalator.
they have lots of items at the top lobby area where the escalators let you off. way to get your browsing at items you did not even come to purchase.
this one is great because it is across the street from my office. so dropping in makes it convenient. the sales guy we had was very friendly and charming.
overall the store was clean.

Returns here are easy, but the process is slow. Shonj is awesome and helped us with an online order after being very patient with another lady who couldn’t find what she was looking for. Our checkout guy was high or something and babbled a lot. Frankly he was a bit rude. Great store though, you’re bound to find something and if not, its free shipping online in store ($ 50 min)

Prices are way too high. $ 40 for a clothes drying rack? Skip. I bought a scrub daddy sponge for close to $ 5 then, the next day saw it in Home Depot for $ 2.88. I hate that. The only upside is– they have free gift boxes and gift wrapping supplies. It’s a white, silver, and purple color combination. I did have a 20% off coupon but for what I purchased it didn’t save much. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t feel like I’m getting a «deal» here, which doesn’t excite me!

If I could give my no stars for my most recent visit, i would do so. Was at the store around 7pm on Saturday night. Picked up a soap dispenser and was about to go pay for it but realized the box seemed a bit light, so i opened the box and saw that the item was not even inside! It was the last one so i had to walk around the entire store to find someone to help me check for any more stock. Found an employee but he was busy helping other customers, so then i see a man walk out of the back room and find out he was a ‘manager’. I approach him and tell him that I found an empty box and I would like to see if there is any more stock available. He takes me to his employee who is already helping multiple customers and offloads me to him for further assistance. Twenty minutes pass, and i see him wandering the store basically doing nothing. So i approach him politely and ask him to help me and that I’ve been waiting for a while. He proceeds to snatch the item out of my hand without saying a word and walks off. Thinking it would get better he comes back and tells me he will go up to the stock room to check for me. Approximately 10mins later he comes back and tells me that that the item should not have been down in kitchenwares in the first place. I tell him: well, you have it on display down here. He then insists that a customer must have brought the empty box downstairs, and then placed the item on display. I then point out that they actually have the item on display with the Bedbath price tag and description. He walks over realizes I am right, grabs the item and walks away without saying anything else. This display of customer service was horrifying. Sometimes the attitude problem is worse than not helping at all. If this is how store management acts, BBB needs to work on actually training them.

although a bunch of the items we needed were not in stock we still had a good experience here. I have to say each and every person working at the store from the greeter to the checkout woman who helped us manage our coupons to the men who helped us on the floor were soo friendly! and helpful! five stars for the customer service at this location !!

I hate this store. HATE. I actually am just starting to hate BED bath and beyond. leave your policies alone. I hate the parking lot area, the store is a mess and no one seems to know what they are doing. I loved a few days before my wedding coming in and getting to argue with dumb people who work here. I’ll be shopping at crate & barrel from now on. btw changing their policies makes everyone want to registry at macys or crate & barrel… so good luck with that.

This is the absolute worst store. They have no products even though their website says they have them in stock. They have no toiletry section like the other stores. One of the thirty something year old sales floor guys was utterly rude to not only myself and my mother but to other staff members as well. The only positive was a little old lady working who helped me look up the product and checked out the back room. Maybe I’m being spiteful, but I had a terrible experience here.

In the middle of a Saturday afternoon, they felt it to be necessary to polish their stainless steel elevator doors with some of the most toxic cleaning supplies I have ever smelled in my life. People were literally gagging.
The guy applying it looked like he was working for the CDC during an apocalyptic bird flu outbreak, complete with goggles, a mask, and respirator. Yet the customers who were milling around were breathing in all this crap and had no protection whatsoever.
So my question for BB&B management is: wouldn’t it be smarter to do this kind of work during off hours so you don’t poison your clientele and wind up in front of a United Nations war crimes tribunal?

This is not the biggest BBB but they do have great prices and alot of items. I always find whatever I need here. Plus there are great restaurants nearby (I’ll save that for a separate review). Its a great shopping experience in a nice area.

Ugh, worst BB&B I’ve been to.
1) the escalator goes upstairs to the main level (Whole Foods is downstairs) and when you get off the escalator you run right into items on display. There is NO room to navigate yourselves let alone a shopping cart!
2) we went to finish up our registry… waited at the Registry area for about 10 minutes. Not a single person was around… and there were already people inside the room waiting. I spent another few minutes looking for a BB&B staffer and couldn’t find anyone. Not cool at all.
We ended up leaving and driving back down to Westbury to finish registering. If you have the time and gas $ take the 10 minute drive back to Westbury.

Neatly organized, friendly cashiers and plenty of parking. Love that they take coupons expired even though prices are not always cheapest.

Workers are all very helpful and polite. I leave this place with some kind of kitchen or bath ware all the time. It’s always a quiet and comfortable shopping experience here for me.

This location has this giant escalator that seemingly goes straight up– I like to think it takes you to the «beyond» section of Bed, Bath & Beyond, but alas, you only end up amongst household stuff when you get off.
This is your standard issue BB&B, but I still have fantasies about that escalator– should I take a bed-​in-​a-​bag and toss it back down that escalator? Would they notice if my new vacuum in the big rectangular box «accidentally» slid down that bad boy?
I have to go back soon to experiment…
