Bath & Body Works

Came today the bf got the two candles for 25.00 deal. The gal who helped us was friendly. The store has so many strong scents it can give you a headache. I do like the sleep body wash and lotions, as I buy my stuff online when they have sales. The store is on the small side compared to most, but still has a good selection of product. Cute little mall, with the important stores to shop in. Would come back if in the area.

Great customer service here. was greeted upon entering, and was asked if I needed any assistance. The employees were friendly and available if I needed any help.

Meant to write this review a long time ago, but when I was at this store last summer an older employee was quite rude. I opened an inch of a cabinet beneath the scent that I liked, to see if a candle was in stock, and an older woman with glasses asked me rudely and with sarcastic eyes, «Do you need help?» You could tell in her voice she was annoyed with me. And when I asked if the candle was in stock, she abruptly said «no» and walked away. To top it all off, I walked out listening to a loud argument between two employees about something that needed to be done.
I am generally not very critical about customer service since I can understand how it feels to be an employee as well, however, I’ve seen much better customer service than I did that day.

Was at this mall to meet a friend for lunch… got here early so went to pick up some room scents. It is your usual Bath and Body Works… I was in and out.

Hard to write a bad review about a place that the fumes from all the scents reach out the door and beckon you to come in!
HAND SANITIZERS and CONCENTRATED ROOM SPRAYS are my thing in here!

The sink was out of order here! That usually never happens. Anyways, came here to pick up a free candle I received from a facebook offer; it was their 2/​$ 5 mini candles. SO happy to finally try their french baguette candle, which by the way, is my favorite candle scent. It came out a few month ago and I definitely think it’s a win.

Okay SO lets be REAL, this place (Mall) is for white peeps, OR white washed peeps,
the only store (s) I come to this small strip mall for is for 1) SEPHORA & 2) ANGL
SO yes, this was my first visit to this BBW’s.
I came in specifically looking to buy MY FAVORITE Pear Bellini candle’s, I asked the big chick at the front if they had any left cause i didn’t see it on the floor. she said with a dead look on her face,“i don’t think so, let me check the back” (she came out a minute later and confirmed they were out, than walked away again with a dead look on her face)
I then asked another chick I’m assuming was the manager (African American lady) cause she was the only one dressed casual with NO apron. if she had any shopping bags, since i was carrying quite a few items i didn’t want to walk all the way to the front to grab it, & I didn’t want to risk dropping anything along the way, She was was excited to see i was buying lots of items so she went and grabbed one for me with no hesitation.
i was appreciative. i really was TILL… she rang me up!!!
HERE’S my story, THERE ARE TWO lines… obviously cause there were LARGE printed RED ovals on the floor in between the two registers where the customers are supposed to stand, SO i stand in the line that was empty and i notice there was already a girl standing in the line next to me, so the person in front of me finished checking out first and that girl rushed over to that register, usually i would NEVER allow that to happen, but i understood she was in line first, so i wait patiently for the next register, then a *white* lady pops out of nowhere and stands in that line that the other girl was just in, the register in front of her finished first, that woman had no decency to let me go first knowing i was next, so i cut her OFF while she was walking towards the counter and put my bag on the counter, that same manager lady looked at me in disgust and said in a sweet voice to the lady behind me, «I’m sorry, I will be with you in a minute» with a HUGE smile. than looked back to me in a spiteful manner, I was just making eye contact with her the entire time. & yes, I was stunned that she (the manager) could be so prejudice cause CLEARLY they both knew i was next! JUST cause I ain’t white or white washed!!! don’t mean I am going to let any B* walk all over me cause i am in there hood! NOBODY CUTS in front of me anywhere!
Of course the lady in back didn’t say anything cause she knew what she was trying to do, BUT I wish she would have cause they both; (manager + white lady) don’t know what’s comin’ out of this firecracker!
anyway that manager lady gave me the total, and i had a $ 10 off coupon off my purchase so i told her the code and she didn’t believe me, she ACTUALLY wanted to see it for herself on my PHONE! yes, really. so i showed her and she squinted her damn eyes as if it was an illegitimate coupon i was showing her.
REALLY THOUGH?, I was the only young Asian girl in there and the only one that received NO GREETING OR SMILE!
Going to have to report this particular establishment to HQ.

my bathroom, bedroom and now kitchen is filled with stuff from here… those darn coupons they keep giving me at the check out always reels me in to come back for more too…
just want to Unilocal about this particular location, cuz they were super nice and i had to exchange «flavors» and it was super easy.
love their raspberry with vanilla, and their melon cucumber antibac soaps. and please stop discontinuing my faves!!! (RIP country apple)

Horrific!!!
There «Perfect Autumn Amber Oil warmer» caught on fire during a family get together in my home.
I dont exactly know what to think of bath and body works anymore since the oil warmer that I purchased there caught on fire while sitting on top of a table at a family gathering. I was soooooo scared the flames just kept getting higher and higher and every time we poured water on it it just kept getting worse. Mind you i have a 2 year old daughter so I always read all the labels and our entire house is baby-​proffed. I did not have the warmer near a door or window, I do not have central air in my home so there was no way the fire could have been caused by a draft.
I called Bath & body works and they of course seemed concerned but not surprised. I am not sure how often this happens but they did have a quality control department. The lady I was speaking to just offered me a $ 25.00 gift card and of course my refund. She put the refung on the gift card so in total I had $ 50.00 to spend at there wonderful store :) I dont want to ever shop there again. I dont know why she didnt just send me a check for the money I wasted there!!!
Since then I have not visited there stores again, I gave the Gift card away at Christmas. I recently viwed there website to check if they are still selling the product and sure enough it wa on there. The one I bought bacj in September 08 was the Fall Collection but they have created some new ones for the seasons coming. Please save your money and dont buy there home products.

I love Kitchen Spice… it makes your house smell soooo good!

This store makes some great soap! It is the semi clear bars, and great scents. This week is their semi annual sale so the soap is $ 1 per bar. They also have lotions and more on sale too.
