Five star customer service and wonderful products! Very generous return and exchange policy. You will always leave a happy customer. They carry a wide range of sizes and very comfortable bras for any type. If they don’t have your size in stock they will ship it to you no charge. The associates are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Soma!

Let me start by saying I was not in the best of moods upon entering this store. I had been waiting in the black and white makeup store(you know the one) for 20 minutes waiting for someone to help me or at least acknowledge me. Needless to say I left without making a purchase and wondered how in the hell everyone in that store could fail at good customer service at once… especially since it wasn’t busy. As soon as I walked into Soma I was greeted. I had never been in a Soma store before mostly because I never heard of it until I saw a commercial a few months back. I normally go to VS and have been going there since I was a teenager but decided to try something new. As I was looking at the various selections of bras, the sales associate, Susie, said they offer complimentary bra fittings. I told her I had no idea what size I wore because it had been at least five years since I bought a new bra. She immediately took me back to a fitting room to measure me and told me my new size. I was wearing a C and found out I was actually a D. I turned out to be one of those women you hear about who wear the wrong size bra. She brought me a bra to try on to check the size and it was accurate. Susie congratulated me on my new size, which is all natural, and also told me my left girl was a little bigger than my right. I never knew!
Susie then brought me several more styles to try so I could find one I liked; I think it was about eight. She helped adjust my straps and informed me what to look for in order to have a good fitting bra. She was great and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. She checked on me throughout my time in the fitting room but not too much. Some sales associates can be annoying about that but she was not. The other sales associate, Jasmine, also checked on me once and helped adjust my straps.(Well adjusted straps are very important ladies.) I think I was in there at least 30 minutes trying on bras. The store wasn’t busy so I could take my time. If you’re a girl you understand that a bra can look great on its own but you also have to see what shape the girls are in underneath a shirt. You don’t want them to look flattened out nor do you want to look like you are wearing one of Madonna’s cone bras. I ended up loving 3 of the bras so much that I had to get some matching panties to go with them. Susie asked me what style I liked and she went off to find my sizes. I cruised around the store a bit and met her at the cash register. To my surprise, she had laid my bras on the counter and had the matching panties underneath each bra… BUT…she had picked out 2 different design styles in the hipster fit for each bra so I could choose the ones I liked best. No one has ever gone through that much trouble for me before. Normally, in that other store I just plunge my hand into the bin, find my size, and go. It may not seem like a big deal for most people but it was the nicest and most thoughtful gesture I’ve ever experienced while shopping. This must be what having a personal shopper feels like. I obviously need to come into some money. In case it isn’t obvious, I love Susie. This woman knows her boobies and bras. I will never go to that other store to buy bras again. She signed me up for their loyalty rewards program which is free and informed me how to take care of my bras so they last longer. She was not sales pitchy or pushy at all. I left feeling fantastic. The girls are happy and they will look great in their new bras. While I was there, they had the buy three panties get two free deal. And I bought enough that I got another pair for free under their current promotion. Susie also told me about Soma’s donation program where anyone can come into the store to donate new or gently worn bras for women who are survivors of domestic violence. They accept all bras from any store. Donate some bras today! Thank you for the great customer service Susie! Perhaps you could lead some trainings to teach sales associates about good customer service skills and I know which store you could go to first. ;)

I’m actually torn. All of the clothing — nightgowns, panties, spa wear — have been very nice and great to pack in a suitcase. However. The bras are HORRIBLE. I will never buy another. I have purchased three types, one of which is the back minimizing and two regulars. On every single style — the straps do not hold their hinge position and they sag and slip. The solution when I went into the store? The very nice saleswoman handed me some tiny little paper-clip-looking things and told me these would prevent the problem. Uh, when I’m paying for overpriced bras — I don’t want to paperclip the straps to hope they work. And, the little clips don’t work. These bras are horrible. The store refused to refund, as I waited too long to try them out. So, won’t buy their bras anymore. I use a lot of paperclips in my business, but haven’t expected to use them in my underwear since grade school! Truly, Soma is too classy of a store to treat loyal customers this shoddily. Clips? On bras that cost upwards of $ 40? How about making the bra straps like other lingerie companies — that actually don’t skid on every wearing. Never again. I’ll buy other products, but no more bras. Their bras and their solutions are terrible. Their customer relations non-existant. Too bad, I used to purchase gifts for all of the«girls» in my family. Now I can find gifts for them elsewhere, where I can get better customer service and far superior merchandise.

I’ve been measured at Nordstrom a few times and then walked out with really expensive bras that I hated after one month(or less). After those experiences I decided to give Soma a try and I’m glad I did. Working with Maxine was great and I walked out of there feeling like I’d just made a good investment in a fabulous garment and the fact that I didn’t need to spend $ 200.00 was an added bonus.

I think that I am slowly starting to transition to Soma Intimates. First, they are much more professional that the other big chain. Next, they do not harassed to open up a credit card. I came in yesterday to look for bras without any underwire. Its for yoga. The yoga tanks that have have built in bras do not give me enough support. I will have to say that I was pleased with the bras and will return to purchase more. It was a little busy when I came in, so I couldn’t have the personal attention I was hoping for. So I purchased what I needed and will have to return to buy more essentials from Soma

Clean, friendly, reasonably priced, good quality bras and panties and such. I stumbled across this little gem of a store on a quest for a great bra. Super-friendly salespeople. Said«hello» as soon as I entered the store, and offered to measure me for a proper fit. I’d never actually been measured, so I agreed and told Danielle what I was looking for. She went and pulled ONE bra. It was the perfect style and fit, and well-priced besides. My new favorite intimates shop!

I like the Victoria’s Secret semi-annual sale in theory, but in practice, I don’t particularly enjoy rooting through bins of tangled bras, trying to find the right size. Imagine my delight when I walked into Soma in Manhattan Beach Mall to find that not only were they having a 60% off sale on a lot of bras, but these sale items were hung and arranged according to size! Wow, what a concept. There were many salespeople offering their assistance and there weren’t piles of discarded bras flung about. I didn’t need assistance since things were so organized, but I appreciated the offer. I walked away with 3 bras for under $ 50, plus I got to shop like a civilized person.

I guess this store is a division of Chico’s? I have never been in here before today, but Victoria’s Secret was out of double stick tape. I need to tape my boobs to my prom dress so they don’t escape while I’m dancing. TMI? The dress* is too revealing, no way to fit a bra underneath. Anyhoo…I am new to the art of taping boobs and needed a demonstration. Wish I had gotten the name of the cute young sales associate who helped me! She was such a doll, so patient, that I invited her to join Unilocal and come to the prom. I hope she does, she would be a wonderful addition to our site. Plus…if the tape gives way at the event, she would know what to do… (* Still deciding whether to wear this dress or a more conservative one.)
