Specializing in tax preparation for S-​Corp, Partnership and LLCs as well as owners of small businesses. We are licensed in CA as well as Hawaii and are experts on multi-​state tax issues as well as real estate investments. History

Established in 1999.

Originally after leaving a large CPA firm environment, the business was setup in Downtown Manhattan Beach near the pier with a computer, printer and one desk. Taking on contract work a CPA to keep the office open, I grew the tax business, incorporated in 2002 and hired an assistant. We continued to grow and expand serving the local community at the location and making new friends in the community. After 10+ years being at that location, we grew into a successful boutique firm but on Feb 25, 2011 there was fire in our building and were displaced. We were lucky to survive the fire and were able stay in Manhattan Beach finding a new location at 111 N. Sepulveda. The business as grown with our clients and we continue to dealing with more complexity client tax issues as our clients expand their net worth.

Business Owner

John W. McLellan, founder and principal of JWM has been a resident of the South Bay his entire life. Over the years, John has spent a considerable amount of time developing above average analytical and computer skills. These skills and his love of numbers led him to choose a career as a Certified Public Accountant.

John is a leader in the community as an active member of the Redondo Beach Rotary club as well as the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce. In 2001, John became an alumni member of Leadership Manhattan, helping to fund a teen cancer center in the South Bay from the proceeds of a community cookbook.

On an ongoing basis, John gives back to the community through personal involvement and the dedication of his firm’s resources. When he is not assisting clients or keeping abreast of new accounting and tax issues, he enjoys participating in beach sports and spending time with his family and friends.
