Mary holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Mary specializes in Luxury Simple Elegant weddings and events throughout the world but prefers to stay in southern California. She is wedding celebrity to so many wedding planners throughout the world and often speaks and leads conferences to help other wedding planners be better planners.

She assists other planners by offering career counseling services, mentorship opportunities and sells her 2 DVD’s The Path of the Planner and The Balanced Planner. In addition, Mary has written and published a best seller, Wedding Wisdom (2009)

I started my business in 1991 while working at The Ritz-​Carlton, Rancho Mirage Hotel. I expanded to my home town of Los Angeles in 1997

Her passion for the industry has led her down many paths, including becoming a contributing writer for the following magazines: Inside Weddings & Ceremony. She has a been the on-​air talent for the nationally syndicated television shows on the Style Network «Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?» and «Married Away», as well as WE Network’s «Platinum Weddings»! Mary is a notable speaker, mentor and career counselor to event professionals world-​wide. She launched her gifts and stationery line, which includes, The Mary Dann Collection: Gratitude Notes and custom created «Wedding Wands». Mary has also produced two DVD’s: «The Wedding Planner Path» and the «The Balanced Planner» and is the co-​author of the newly released book «WEDD
