Pristine Windows

This review is based only upon a phone conversation with Pristine Windows in Torrance. I needed two bedroom windows replaced because they do not meet egress (in short, the window opening is not large enough for a fireman to enter if he needs to save your behind). Anyway, this company does not do jobs under $ 5,000 and won’t come out to measure your windows if the job runs under $ 5,000. Well, I wish you had stated that on your website so I didn’t have to waste your or my time.

They replaced all our old windows and did and excellent job. I couldn’t be happier. They installed a beautiful bay window and did a great job blending it into the house. They were super clean and very professional. Highly recommend

We contracted with Pristine Windows for the purchase and installation of Milgard vinyl French doors in our den. They did the job on time (actually a week earlier, after asking our approval, than originally promised) and on cost. The work was done very professionally, including removal of the old doors, installation of the Milgard doors, and cleanup. The doors are of excellent quality, and they look beautiful. Although the doors and installation are very expensive compared with wooden doors, we shopped other vinyl door manufactures and installers, and Pristine Windows was comparable. Art Soto showed us the doors in Pristine’s showroom and answered all our questions thoroughly. One minor down note is that the installers had to go to Home Depot to get interior door molding during the installation. Although the molding matched our other doors well, the installers left a couple of dirty fingerprints on the molding. When we tried to clean the fingerprints with water, the molding paint came off. Turns out that the molding was unpainted; it had only a primer coat on it. This was not Pristine’s fault, but they should have told us. We’ll get the molding painted, but it will cost us an extra $ 50 – 100, a small amount relative to the total purchase, but a slight additional hassle. Overall, we rate Pristine Windows highly and will definitely use them again.

I am beyond satisfied with the work and dedication Pristine Windows had done with my window renovation. Art, the rep for pristine windows was very easy to work with. He sets realistic quotes and options on the first visit.
When my home owner association gave us hell trying to deny our project, Art stepped up the game and did not hesitate to take the extra time and effort to help us appealed their decision. The new windows look beyond beautiful in my home, and we are very happy with how meticulous the crew was making sure everything was covered. It is very difficult to find a good window company, and I am happy I found pristine and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Sent two emails and three text messages to the sales rep and never heard back from him. I will never give my business to companies like this. At the very least I would appreciate a call or email or text message back.

We were looking to replace 10 aluminum framed, single paned windows and a sliding door in our 40 year old house. Had several vendors come to our home to do their lengthy 2 – 3 hour presentations on why we should go with their company instead of the competition. They come at you with high pressure sales tactics and say if you buy now, they will give you a substantial discount.
When Bruce from Pristine Windows visited us, he was very casual yet professional. He could tell we’ve sat through the lengthy presentations so he cut right to the chase. Asked us what we wanted, provided us with some options, took measurements — all in less than 30 minutes. Later in the day, he provided a no-​hassle quote via email. Turns out his quote was the lowest of all. We had more questions so he invited us to his shop. When we thought we made up our minds, we saw there were so many features to the windows and doors that we began to question our decision; so he answered everything we asked about them and helped us solidify our choice. We decided to go with the Milgard Ultra Series (fiberglass framed, double pane, low-​e glass) for both our windows and sliding door. Despite his quote being the lowest, we were still able to negotiate a discount. On top of that, he told us that Milgard offered a $ 30 rebate per window/​door — another $ 330 off! None of his competitors notified us of the rebate.
When the installers led by Norman came out, they were also very professional. Since our home was built before 1978, they had to follow EPA guidelines in order to safely remove the old windows. We had to vacate the premises for about 10 hours and almost everything inside was covered in plastic sheets. We dropped by a few times to see how things progressed and Norman updated us on how the installation was going. After they finished, all the plastic sheets were removed and any trash was thoroughly cleaned up.
Except for a few scratched windows and a cracked frame which might have been caused during transit from the manufacturer, everything went well. Norman promptly contacted Milgard regarding the damages and they were replaced within a few weeks of the initial installation. Bruce followed up with us to make sure we were completely satisfied with their service. We highly recommend Pristine Windows!

Bruce did a great job dealing with the myriad of configuration changes we sent his way as we worked to finalize our order. We live on a busy street, and Bruce’s recommendations for sound-​proofing windows upstairs were great. The installation crew was first-​rate and their attention to detail and cleanliness were very impressive. Our windows were installed on schedule and the crew left our house clean each day. There were some anomalies with some of the window openings, and the crew worked around them flawlessly.
