Rosie is awesome! We have been customers for over 11 years and they never disappoint. She always gives my kids a little prize every time we come in! I’m a great customer so I expect my business to be earned and Rosie/​Patterson fits the bill. Yes, they are a bit pricey– but worth it in the long run. I cut corners elsewhere.

My parents used to go to Patterson Cleaners when I was little. Now that we’re back, we need a dry cleaner. I tried another dry cleaner in the area who overcharged me and ruined a sweater, so I *really* wanted to get it right with my dress for my brother’s graduation and another of my favorite dresses.
All in all, Patterson did a great job dry cleaning two dresses for me. Together, the dresses cost under 35 dollars. They were easy to communicate with and the dresses were ready when they said they would be. The ticket I was given said pickup after 5pm, but I called around 4 and they said that they were ready and I could come pick them up.
Tons of parking right out front and in the back. I would come back here whenever I need dry cleaning done.

It’s worth my time and commute from Torrance to have our clothes beautifully laundered and to be greeted by friendly, respectful service. Every stain I present to Rosie, she happily marks and her staff gets it out every time. I could not be happier with this cleaners who I’ve been going to for 16+ years. They’re service is worth its weight in gold.

This review is strictly for 1 women’s cotton blouse. Total $ 7.50. For a wash and press.
The service was fine and no better or worse than other dry cleaners but $ 7.50 for 1 cotton blouse is a no go. A cotton men’s shirt is half the price. What’s the difference?

Warning: They shrink your clothes. Rosie is sweet, and she’s always there, but they shrunk several of my work clothes and always had a reason why it was my fault … the poor quality of fabric (Tahari, Theory, Reiss — I don’t think so), or that I perspired and the moisture caused shrinkage. I believe they’re over-​steaming garments, but it cost me over $ 1000 in the end in clothes I couldn’t wear. They refused to take any responsibility. I bought a replacement Theory dress identical to the one they shrunk and showed them the before and after, and they still came up with reasons it wasn’t their fault. Working out payment still. I know there are others who must have similar issues because it happened so often. My suggestion: Go elsewhere.

We have a pickup delivery service and pickup is to be automatic weekly. The driver continually forgets to pickup. This last time, Cleaner management said that they can’t get the driver to cooperate and said we should find another cleaners. Enough said.

They do a great job with my delicate garments that I don’t dare try and clean myself. I usually see the same woman when I pick up and drop off, which is nice to know that they aren’t churning through labor because people are stealing clothes out the back door. Prices are affordable, and they will match any other cleaner discounts and coupons. In case you’re lazy like me, they’ll do some auto-​coupon thing where they must have some mind reading machine that prices the highest you’re willing to pay but is low enough that you won’t leave. I like them and they’re clean, easy, quick, nice. What else do you need?

I have been going to Patterson Cleaners since I moved to Manhattan Beach 10 years ago. The quality of work is superb and the chemicals are non-​toxic. The highlight is that Rosie and the rest of the staff know my name and phone number by heart so, as soon as I walk in the door, they are ready to find my dry cleaning. My husband has been coming her to have all of his work shirts laundered and suits cleaned for at least 20 or 30 years. I will not go any place else. I don’t necessarily recommend them for serious alterations, but they do a fine job hemming slacks or skirts. If I need serious tailoring, I go to Burdj (sp?) in downtown MB and pay way too much money, but get good quality.

Adding another 5-​star review for Patterson Cleaners, because they deserve it.
I’ve both dry cleaned and had laundered a variety of articles here, from formal dresses to work blazers and dresses to a pricey down comforter, and have always had my items treated with excellent care and returned in ideal condition.
For the area, the prices are very reasonable, the turnaround is quick, and the staff is friendly and always remembers me.
My mother-​in-​law has been going to Patterson for years and recommended them when we moved to the area, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the recommendation.

Been going to Pattersons for years. Top quality work and great service. As another review said, Rosie is great. She is ALWAYS there (I think she lives there) and she is so knowledgeable. If she doesn’t think she can get a stain out, she is honest about it. I have been very pleased with all their work.

My husbands family has been coming here probably since they opened. I honestly have no idea how long because I’ve only been here twice now. SOMEHOW they remember who I am after only meeting them ONCE!
Here is my review relating to my last visit:
Husband drops off dry cleaning Wednesday and I go to pick it up Saturday afternoon. I’m helped right away and my items are found right away. I’m expecting this to be around 60 or 70 bones. Items were: 1 men’s suit (jacket and pants), 1 men’s dress shirt, 1 ladies dress, 1 ladies pants, 1 belt. Total came out to only 50. Nice, not only nice but right when I walk in I hear «Are you Mrs. Fxxxxx new daughter in law?». I’m like WHOA. After I say yes, she hands me all the clothes, I pay, and I’m off. I’ve met this woman once, like months ago, maybe even a year! Great customer service and great prices!
Be careful about parking. The lot is a little small in front. There is additional parking and an exit to the side street in the rear.

Prices are a bit high, but if you want quality work, friendly service, and reliable work, this is the place for you. It’s worth the slightly higher price to not have to get an item recleaned because it wasn’t done right in the first place.
The hours are accomodating for those of us that work, and Rosie is as a sweet as can be and will greet you by your name.
