History

Established in 1964.

Over the past 70 years, Sexton Homes, Inc. has created an enduring foundation and reputation in the South Bay. The Sexton family design and build legacy started in the city of Redondo Beach when the roads were dusty and unpaved and back yards were filled with corn fields and farm animals. Glenn Sexton Sr. built this first home where his son, Glen Sexton and eventual founder of Sexton Homes, Inc., was born in 1937. Glen obtained his contractor’s license in 1964 and over the past 50 years has built thousands of homes, apartments, and commercial properties throughout the United States alongside large development companies. In 1995, Glen founded Sexton Homes, Inc. Glen’s son, Shaun Sexton, came on board 2 years later at the young age of seventeen. Amidst attending Mira Costa High School, Shaun designed the second Sexton Home, located on 31^st Street in Manhattan Beach. Glen later passed the presidency on to Shaun in 2008 to enjoy his retirement life. This was a milestone for the Sexton name

Shaun Sexton, the President of Sexton Homes has been recognized as a prominent designer within the South Bay for creating magnificent luxurious designs that inspire people. He has been designing and building in Manhattan Beach for over 15 years. He quickly gained notoriety in newspapers and magazines due to his home design and build quality. Shaun has traveled all over the world to gain inspiration and knowledge to enable him to be true to a style, and to create homes that are innovative works of art while incorporating functionality to his designs.
