Air Conditioner New York

DO NOT DO BUSINESS!!! The air conditioner fell out of the window and broke. I am out $ 400!!! $ 80 for installation and $ 320 to buy a new air conditioner.

I was looking for someone to install a small window unit for me while I was out of town but had friends staying in my apartment and melting. It’s something that most New Yorkers know how to do themselves, and had I been there, I would have done it myself, but because I was not, I called on the experts. It seems the majority of phone numbers on google end up sending you back to these guys. When one person from this company told me the price was $ 15 more to send payment via PayPal (again, I was out of state and couldn’t hand him cash), I said I’d use another company. Well, when I found «another company» to use, it was just another from the same company who wanted $ 100 to stick an ac from the floor into the window, and then kept saying, «I’ll be there tomorrow,» and canceling promising again to, «be there tomorrow», until they refunded my money and said they wouldn’t be there – Oh, and they notified me by email a couple hours before they were scheduled to be there to let me know they weren’t coming. Meanwhile, I’m sending conflicting messages for several days to my friends trying to explain what’s going on – but is constantly changing, and they’re still in an AC-​less apartment on 90* plus days. Thanks for nothing, guys! Will make sure to talk bad about you all over town!

Terrible service. The guy that came and installed my A/​C left gaps on the side — I am not sure what I am supposed to do when it is cold and 20 degrees outside. Who does that?! Who leaves gaps and doesn’t use silicone.
We also talked about him installing a bracket as required by NYC building code. Instead he nails the A/​C to the window. I called several times and left several voicemails to have him come fix the situation. My calls were never answered and if answered they chose to hang up on me! Completely unprofessional.
DO NOT USE THEM! I got ripped off for $ 140.
I had another service come fix this cluster they created! This guy uses his own special silicone for the gaps and installed my bracket.
WORST SERVICE — DO NOT USE!

I’ve used this company two years in a row and will continue to do so in the future. They’re prompt, courteous, helpful and efficient!

EXCELLENT job at an even better price !! Don’t waste time, just hire these guys !
