History

Established in 2010.

Results speak for themselves: After 25 years of teaching writing at major universities and Ivy League colleges, and publishing 8 books, I turned to helping young people get use their writing skills to get into college and grad school. I work in person in the Northeast (Wash DC to Boston & Cape Cod) and on the phone and Skype with clients around the world, including Hong Kong and Cairo. I help students craft essays, whether they start with a single idea, a rough draft — or absolutely nothing.
