I am a private science tutor specializing in tutoring middle school and high school students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra and Geometry.

In addition to coursework tutoring I also prepare students for standardized tests. I will teach test prep for the SAT/​ACT as well as Regents, SAT II, and AP exams covering the subjects listed above.

History

Established in 2011.

I began tutoring after completing graduate school in chemical engineering. I found that it was very rewarding and at the same time valuable to my clients. I moved to NYC in early 2013 to allow better access to a larger client base.

Benny S.

Business Owner

Benny grew up outside of Cleveland in Solon, Ohio and studied biotechnology at Kent State University, where he graduated cum laude. As an undergraduate, he worked for the Department of Energy researching fuel cells at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. Benny earned a Master of Engineering degree at Washington University in St. Louis, where he researched algal biofuel and took courses focused on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability and business. After working in the pharmaceutical industry, he has decided to focus on tutoring and teaching. Benny has tutored science and math for many years and enjoys sparking a genuine interest in the students with whom he works.
