Professionally trained at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, Mackie Rondon has achieved both an A.A.S. degree in Accessories Design in 1993 and a B.S. in Production Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2005.

Over the last 19 years, Mackie Rondon has assumed progressively responsible design and production positions in the fashion industry beginning with a position as an Assistant Designer for Danel Accessories in 1993 and culminating in a promotion as Line Builder with Steve Madden Ltd. that lasted 11 years.
