After graduating Vaganova Academy Anastasia returned to native Moscow to dance with the Bolshoi Ballet. While dancing with the Bolshoi, she completed a degree in teaching classical ballet and repertoire under Sofia Golovkina and Peter Pestov in Moscow Choreography Institute.

Thereafter, she moved to the USA and was mainly pursuing her passion for teaching children and soon started working Scarsdale Ballet Studio. While working at SBS, Anastasia staged ballets such as La Bayadere, Raymonda, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Paquita for the school’s students.

In 2008 she completed her Ph.D. thesis with Moscow University of Culture and then moved to Sydney, Australia where she ran her own ballet school for 4 years and staged Peter and the Wolf, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Giselle.

Upon leaving Australia, Anastasia spent time in Asia where she developed and taught her two specialised seminars — «Beautiful Feet» and «Extra Pirouette» which she continues to teach now throughout USA.
