Fahima Halal Food

Comparing Fahima’s Kati Rolls to Biriyani Cart’s is Straight Up Blasphemy.
Sometimes do you wish you haven’t read something? Well, I wish I hadn’t read the following blogpost on MLB yesterday:

I had never heard of Fahima Halal Food, and apparently neither has Unilocal because this is the first entry on it. Hours after reading the article, I ventured over to Fahima and ordered their 2 Kati Roll (w/​a free soda/​water) deal. It’s supposed to be $ 6, but since I ordered 1 lamb + 1 chicken, instead of 2 chicken, it got jacked up to $ 7. That made it $ 1 more expensive than ordered two katis from Biriyani Cart. Strike 1.
I was secretly wishing that Kwik Meal, one cart over, would have no line. I would have tried their chicken/​lamb over rice instead since I have yet to try it. I heard about it from Lainy C. and MLB’s Annual Street Meat Palooza 2 chowdown last year. The line at Kwik Meal was too long for me. I had to grab my food and run. Fahima had no line. Aside from myself, not a single person ordered from them. Bad sing. Strike 2.
The chapati for both of my katis was rubbery. The meat (one lamb and the other chicken) sucked and was even worse than Kati Roll’s (on W 39^th) where I ate the day before, and incomparably worse than Biriyani Cart’s kati rolls. So much worse that it is unquantifiable. 10x worse? 100x worse? Strike 3.
Where’s my Juliet to smash the rock into the H-​bomb, so that I could flash sideways having never eaten from Fahima? Luckily for you, thanks to me wasting my time, money, and stomach space eating there, it spares you from doing the same.
