George Heller, DDS and Irina Starik, DMD

I can’t even believe how amazing this team is! I went in as a new patient not knowing what to expect and got blown away with the level of care that I was treated with. I finally found a dentist that I trust and am not scared of! Haha

Had a fantastic experience at Dr. Starik’s office yesterday (never thought I’d say that about a dental visit). Her professionalism and skill was excellent. In and out of the office quickly and painlessly. Very smooth filling with no issues.

Dr. Starik is truly a gem. She is very bright, honest, patient, and professional. She truly cares for her patients and gives her undivided attention. I have had my share of dentists, and am NOT a fan, however with Dr. Starik I am calm and trust her. She goes above and beyond making sure her patients are comfortable and satisfied.
Her office is VERY clean, stylish, and I LOVE her chandelier. She does not double book or run late. She is all around on point!

I have previously had horrible dentist experiences in the city, ones that have caused me a lot of pain and heightened my distrust in all dentists. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Starik, and I couldn’t be more thankful. First of all, she took the time to really understand my situation and resolve the issues that none of the previous dentists had been able to figure out. Also — the fillings that she did were tricky and previously caused me a lot of pain from my previous experiences. After Dr. Starik, I had no issues. I will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Heller is a great dentist. I appreciated that he took the time to chat and get to know me before even doing my first cleaning at my very first appointment. It can be nerve-​wracking going to a new dentist, especially since I already had some dentist anxiety going in, but Dr. Heller has done such a great job with my teeth and has put me completely at ease in the process. The office is so friendly and welcoming and I am very happy to have found them!

I adore Dr. Heller and have been going to him for about 10 years. I think he’s one of the best dentists in NYC. Note: Dr. Heller cleans all his patients’ teeth himself, which is unusual (and wonderful). I asked him why, and he said it’s because it helps him to know his patients’ dental status better. I think this is great because it shows he’s really devoted to his patients’ health.
He’s extremely fastidious, skilled, and PAINLESS. I had a severe phobia of dentists, but Dr. Heller’s warm and lovely personality and incredible skills have cured me of that phobia. He has done root canals, crowns, periodontal scrapings, and all sorts of intense procedures for me – but I was never frightened, and I was never in pain. I actually look forward to seeing him twice a year!
It’s a small office, and they treat you like family (his wife handles all the paperwork and reception). They are trustworthy, kind, and efficient (I’ve never had to wait for an appointment). Dr. Heller is the best, and I highly recommend him to everyone I know.

Dr. Heller is truly the most patient, kind and honest dentist I’ve ever seen. He has cared for me and my family for years and single-​handily taught my kids to not fear the world of dentistry (no small feat). He is thorough and his office is organized and clean.
Even if you don’t live uptown, he is more than worth the commute… you will come to trust and rely on his good care… without hassles or upsell.

Dr. H is pretty awesome. I needed a lot of work done and he helped me work with my insurance maximums, and get everything accomplished. It’s a small practice, and it makes you feel loved every time. Dr. H never guilts you, like my former dentist did, and I never dread going there. Its really far out of my way, but I still think he’s the best, so I am happy to make the trek.

By far the most caring and intelligent dentist I have ever had. Well worth the trip anytime and they work with my hectic work schedule and that’s a HUGE PLUS!
