I have Kazuki did my haircut and color and I am in love with my hair now!
I just came to New York for study and I need something that’s low maintenance, and keep myself low profile. I want those ashy blonde ombré badly but I just don’t wanna scare my parents and professors so I wanted to dye my hair brown and trim my dead hair. I know doing ombré is very skillful job while a single process is pretty simple, but Kazuki took his time to go over all the possible color with me and told me what fits me better.
Kazuki took his time to trim my hair even though it wasn’t a big cut, he also applied the color himself. After two hours of hard work, my hair is finally done with a beautiful wavy finish. I’m so so in love with my hair! Kazuki is amazing !!!

I’m returning to New York to see Kazuki again before the Chinese New York. Living in a town that’s full of American salon but they just can’t do a good job on my Asian hair.
The snow delayed my trip but Kazuki was kind enough to work overtime so I can get my hair done in a timely manner. I like the result Kazuki gave me last time so I was asking the same thing, haircut and single process color with a brown tone. This time Kazuki suggested me to get the balayage with we can try to have the tip lighter, so I let him to design my hair.
Kazuki is his crews are as nice as always and they have everything for you, wifi, drink, magazines, etc… So you can ease yourself while you have to sit there for a while to let them get the job done. After getting several unprofessional trim in my small town, I finally have my hair treated the right way by Kazuki’s magic hands. My hair is alive again!!! I really wish I can move back to New York so I don’t have to worry about my hair! Thank you Kazuki !!!

Finally I graduated from college and I’m moving to New York for work! No more trouble on finding a good hairstylist! Kazuki I’m back!
After 4 boring years of life in Syracuse, I finally can get my hair done in a easier way! So I went to see Kazuki a while ago and I couldn’t find the same experience in Syracuse, that’s no wonder. I’m ready for a little change. I showed him some pic this time and I’m thinking to have some disconnected layers in the front, like a Japanese doll style. Kazuki agreed with my idea and I love the result!
I will be back for my color next time!

Having been coming to hair lounge for tow years. I feel obligated to write a review for the consistently. Amazing experience, I got
Hiro, first cut my hair two years ago in east village, and I was hooked since then. Every hair cut is slightly different
style but never deviate. from my general direction (think office style-​tapered side with trimmed top) however, with a little magic by Hiro, my hair never looks cut of style.

I’m lucky enough to have my friend to recommend me to see Kazuki for my haircut and color which he made me felt comfortable and he explained the cons and pros for each option he offer base on my hair situation and needs.
As an exchange student abroad I need to take care everything by myself and need to find some professionals to take care my appearance. Had some bad experience with the local American salon before so I think I will pass them, but thank god I was only asking for a trim so my hair wasn’t completely ruined, and this time, I wanna dye my old faded overdue hair to give it a fresh look for my new semester.
One of my friend recommended me to check out Kazuki since he’s been doing my friend’s hair for years and he never let her down so I made an appointment and was hoping he could save poor hair.
Kazuki was very polite and professional, I could tell by the way he explain how color and haircut should combine together to make the entire thing look match and prefect and he was afraid that I wouldn’t understand, he was very kind.
Kazuki basically did everything by himself while his assistant was helping to prepare whatever he needed and offering me green tea and grabbing me magazines, making sure things were ok. The entire process ran smoothly, it was pleasant.
The outcome was stunning. I literally haven’t seen my hair look so shiny, healthy and fresh in such a long time. I almost wanted to cry after seeing my hair looks like those hair I can only see on magazine.

All the hairstylists are patient with my fizzy hair. I didn’t stay with one staylist because I never make appointment. They all take very good care of my hair. Thank you guys.

Looks like they are great at color, but my review is for a haircut I received a few months ago. My hair is very thick, long, and naturally frizzy/​wavy. I asked for a simple trim, and the stylist finished the cut by thinning out my hair (without asking first). I’ve had stylists thin my hair out before, so I went with it and zoned out… but his method was to cut very long pieces out all over my head. I was left with thinner hair – but also VERY short pieces (about 4 inches long) all over the crown of my head. I was horrified when I looked at the floor. You could have made a wig from all the hair he took out.
Now I’m trying to grow everything out and my new stylist was very surprised when she saw how my hair was previously cut. I won’t be returning.

I love this salon. I’ve gotten my hair cut here before and loved it. This time I went for carmel bayalage on my espresso brown hair and Leon did a great job! I went in with pictures and expressed my concerned of my dark hair turning orange and he assured me he could do it and do it well. He was amazing and gave me an awesome cut as well. Tips: make an appointment, bring pictures, and don’t be afraid to be exact.

Aska is the best hair stylist at this salon. I love the way how he always style my hair. I always walk out of this feeling happy.

This is my first time to be & hair lounge. I found them on Unilocal.They have a lot of good review, so I decide to have a try with them. I have a stylist called Aska. Before the haircut, we have a talk what I like and what he suggests. He knows what he is doing. When the result comes out, my friends and me like my new hairstyle very much. Great place and great service! I’ll come back here to do my hair definitely since now!

Aska is awesome! I’m a very picky person. I don’t trust anyone who looks not professional. But Aska gives me many good suggestions and told me what are good to my haircut and what are bad. The washing service is wonderful, I enjoy very much. Also, they gives me tea and magazines when I’m having the haircut. The best Salon in the NYC!

Wow the worst color job ever. I feel like I’m stuck in the 1990’s kazuki offered to fix it and this is what I ended up with I give up and don’t want to come back here ever. Run away!!!
My original experience with this salon was terrible BUT kazuki definitely made up for this. After my whole experience with Leon, kazuki was kind enough to reach out to me to correct my hair coloring and I seriously couldn’t be happier!
He did such an amazing job with my ombré, everything is blended in so well and any hair coloring issues I had due to Leon are non-​existent all because kazuki took care of my hair.
I strongly recommend going to kazuki him and his team very hospitality, they did a great job in making me feel comfortable and I’m ecstatic with my results :)

Really great Hair salon!!! Had my hair done there for almost 3 years! Great services and hair price too! Aska is my hair stylist and he is really nice and always gives me tips about how to fix my damaged hair. I get compliments so much all time because of my hair! They really care about the costumers and that’s why they will always give you a three-​hour session if you make an appointment. They are really busy almost of the time so make sure you call ahead to make an appointment! Again, great people, service and price! Why not?!

Kazuki!!! He is the best :) I had previously gotten my hair colored by a trainee at a different salon and had been quite unhappy with it for a while and decided to shell out some cash for a great cut+color for once. My hair went past my waist and I was getting very bored with it, basically all one length and a weird brassy ombré color. I went to Kazuki for a balayage and layer cut with bangs, chopped off about four inches and now my hair is AMAZING and I am still totally in love with it three days later! :)))
Kazuki really listened to what I wanted and offered his advice as well, and it came out amazinggg. The cut is seriously amazing and I can’t stop looking at it in the mirror haha. It has so much more volume and life and I can do so much more with it now in terms of styling it. The color was also amazing, exactly what I wanted and it was blended in so well! Kazuki took a lot of care with each section in a very efficient manner. Shampoo service was also very nice and my hair smells amazing!
I’m a bit sad that they discontinued the new customer discount as the prices are not cheap, but Kazuki is worth every single penny and I will be coming back for my future hair needs :)

KAZUKI made it !! I am a very picky, and specific person when it comes to hair. I believe that I have almost made Kazuki crazy but thanks to his patience and talented skill. He gave me a completely satisfied haircut.
I always flying between the U.S. and Singapore and I have never let anyone else to cut my hair except my stylist in Singapore. Since I’ll be staying in New York for a while, I think it’s time for me to make a adventurous move. Yes, I need to find a stylist that I can entrust with.
Living in the upper east side and most of the salons were non-​asian hair salon. Found this chain hair salon in the upper east and I called and asked thousand of question about the stylist, pricing, etc. Base on the popularity, I decided to give Kazuki a try.
I explained what I want and what I don’t want. Kazuki seemed like not quite agree with my thought and explained to me what could happen if he follow what I asked for.
I agreed with him and let him do what’s right, while I was watching him to cut my hair. I know I am a very picky person and Kazuki delivered an excellent job on cutting my hair. I can’t be happier more!!! My hair is very straight so if there is any imperfection, I will know instantly, but so far I’m in love with my hair and I think I can trust this talented stylist during my stay in New York.

Aska is the best stylist in the city! Honestly, I’m a really picky person. Every time he did excellent job for my hair cut, so love it! Also he did really great job for the color, Absolutely back with him!

I’ve been hesitating for a year about whether I should even write a review, just because I wanted to keep Kazuki to myself. But I have to give credit where it is deserved.
You know when you get something new and then you wonder how you’ve been living without it for so long (like when my grandmother got an iPhone)? Well, I really don’t know how I’ve been living my entire 10 years of hair coloring without this salon!
Every time after coloring/​cut, my hair looks like:
Darkish hair with ashy blonde balayage highlights, and a haircut which transforms my thin, fine hair into thick, soft curls. (See picture).
The color grows out nicely too. I’ve received compliments even several months after getting my hair colored.
