THE WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE!
I Made an appointment for a brow tinting service. On the phone I explained it was my first time and wanted something natural.
When getting here, I was taken 15 minutes late, no problem as i understand things take a bit longer sometimes.
After sitting down, and again explaining it was my first time and Wanted everything very natural looking, She then offered me an eyelash tint service to try after I asked what it was and how much it was, I then agreed to doing it. I asked her please be careful as I have contacts. SHE BURNED MY EYE, thats not even the worst part, SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY SORRY, she said“I should have been more careful“
I knew i should have stopped then. I then proceeded to get the eyebrow service. NO CONSULTATION was given. Literally, 2 hours later. I sat up, she gave me the mirro and my face dropped. I looked like I have 2 caterpillars on my face. HUGE eveybrows. I just wanted to leave, I asked her how much, she told me the price, and no disount after burning my eyes. I was so upset, I paid and left.
She thought she did an amazing job, she emailed me asking for an after photo. I then emailed her back letting her know how unhappy I was and how I felt like the service was so unprofessional with her not even giving me a consultation or saying sorry for burning my eye. her response was that i was right and that she was so worried on how much time she was taking and I would receive a full refund.
A few days later, i still had not gotten a refund so I emailed her asking about it and she said within 3 business days I would have it. I waited over a week and emailed her again and she told me too bad, she would not be refunding me and didn’t care what I did in order to get the money back because I wouldn’t see it.
Being a business owner myself, Customer service is above all, and apologizing for your mistakes is a MUST no matter what.
Spare yourself the hassle and avoid going to such an unprofessional person. WORST PLACE TO GO!

I had a HD eyebrow treatment with Jane last week and I absolutely love them. They add so much definition to my face especially now in the summertime when I don’t want to wear make up during the day. Jane is extremely professional and knowledgable in skincare, looking forward to receiving more treatments from her.

I went to Jane for a facial and had an awesome experience. She wanted to know my skin régime, history, and even wanted me to bring pics of the ingredients of the products I was using to she could better understand my skin and tailor the facial to my needs. She took her time and explained everything she did. If you’re neurotic about your skin like I am this is the place to go. So good!

Wish I could give Jane TEN stars! Jane gives the BEST facial experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Aveda, Mario Badescu, and private spas. Only after seeing Jane did I and others notice a real difference in my skin. Jane is knowledgeable, skilled, listens to her clients, takes her time and is also a lovely person. Do yourself a favor and let Jane pamper you — she is second to none!

Shes located in the back of a salon, she has her own space and the whole experience was very pleasent.

I used to have beautiful skin but once I hit my late 20s I developed adult acne. Add on top of that that severely dry skin and it was a recipe for disaster. My friend recommended Jane Arthurs. I set the appointment and crossed my fingers. When I arrived there was a little mix up with the time but that is the only thing I can mention that is not a glowing review. My skin has never looked so good and I’ve only been going a short amount of time. Jane is so knowledgeable about skin and products that she instantly knew what I needed. Her peels are to dieeeee for. I thank my friend constantly for sending me her way. If your looking for a solution to your skin problems, GO SEE JANE!

I had a facial and the HD brows. During the facial she was very meticulous with the extractions and I loved the feel of the products she used, also she did a very thorough massage to improve blood circulation which felt delicious! vThe HD brows where great. She tints, measures, waxes, threads and plucks for a perfect finish that complements your face.
Jane is very professional and really nice. I will return for a peeling and continue to follow her advise. Very glad I found her on the HD brows website

I found out about this place through a friend. The girl is really good at shaping your eyebrows. Apparently this technique is huge in places like england. Whatever she done really made a big difference to my overall facial features. I love it.

Went there with a girlfriend of mine to wait while she got a facial, Jane asked me did I want to get one as I waited. i said no, she said come on and don’t be scared, so I settled in for my first facial.
I’m very glad I did, she done an excellent job on my skin, I’v had a few problems with breakouts and oily skin in the past, after my facial and the advice Jane gave me my skin is looking so much better, I go in every 2 – 3 weeks for a check up and a facial,
Excellent service can’t say enough positive things about my experience there.
Prices were really good as well.

Jane uses are the BEST products, with a mix of Organic and Clinical ! Her Facials are very affective and produce dramatic results that you can see after your first visit!!! Take advantage of her talents before there is a waiting list to see her…

Read the others! I have little more to add — I simply echo and agree and say; YES! The facial I got was relaxing and… lovely. Jane’s skills in facial massage, application of product, removal of product, and steaming are delicate and… pretty. It sounds odd to say, but — she has a «pretty touch.»
I am going to recommend her to my friends (something i don’t often do — I figure let them find their own services), but I would be remiss if I didn’t send them her way.

Went in for a facial on the recommendation of my friend. I’m happy to say I wasn’t disappointed! Jane was fantastic and very nice through out the process since it was my first time. Definitely going back and will recommend friends.

I actually have eyebrows. Jane did a great job waxing and tinting them. She shaped them according to my face. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know.
She will be my go to person. Next stop will be a facial.

Had a facial and HD brows by Jane, the facial was amazing I actually napped thru half of it… was super comfortable and relaxed … My skin was def glowing and felt smooth and just fresh… the HD brows was like icing on the cake. Really made my eyes pop and I feel and look super put together. I’ll def be back to pamper myself again

I had asked a friend (with FLAWLESS skin) who does her facials. She recommended that I go to Jane and I wasted no time in making the appointment (trust me, if you saw this chick’s skin — you’d do the same). The appointment process was very easy — no attitude from this nice place in the Upper East Side across from Asphalt Green.
I have rosacea, so I was a bit nervous about skin irritation. Once I arrived, I met with Jane (super friendly and a sweet demeanor that will make you feel at ease from the start) and we did a consult about my skin concerns.
Once we started the facial, I relaxed back while I trusted my skin to her hands — and they were MAGIC!!! She was thorough — yet gentle. She uses top of the line products and I saw a major difference results-​wise compared to other facials I’ve had. She gave me suggestions on aftercare with no hard sell on products (big for me, I want to relax, not be hustled into buying products).
I am curious at trying the HD brows next. I saw before and after shots and they seem like a great technique for brows.
Bottom line: do yourself a HUGE favor, run and make an appt to see Jane! You owe it to yourself, and you on’t be disappointed!

I scheduled an appointment with Jane last week for a facial and HD Brows. Since I have rosacea, I always get a little worried that I will walk out looking worse than before I went in. Seriously though, I’m amazed at how incredible my skin looks! Jane was very patient with me as I explained my various skin ailments and then went above and beyond by giving me lots of free samples to try. I’d definitely recommend her!
