Horrible customer service experience. Purchased a spray tan through groupon and made an appointment over the phone. (To be clear, I confirmed over the phone that I had an appointment before I even purchased the groupon). Received a phone call the next day saying the spray tan technician had an «appointment» from 3:00 through the evening and they had to cancel on me. They offered a few other time options, but they were the most ridiculous time options for anyone with a job. Weekday morning? No thanks. I spoke with the «manager» who had no sympathy for me whatsoever. If you ask me, the spray tan tech had a hot date or decided it wasn’t worth their time to stay until 6 for a groupon spray tan. Not how you gain new customers!
I certainly won’t give these guys another try. Their attitude and indifference for my unhappiness (a new customer!) is appalling.

Best spray tan I have received in NYC. The Groupon price is a great value, but it’s worth the retail price as well. The location is tucked into the 8^th floor of an office building and is really nicely decorated. Arakaya (spelling?) Was really sweet and welcoming and did a detailed job with my tan, ensuring that the spray was even. She even used a little paintbrush on smaller areas. Plus, she had to see me butt naked and didn’t even blink an eye. Most other places that apply the tan for you are about $ 75-​$ 100 so this is a great deal. I look sun kissed and ready for my long weekend in Florida. Highly recommend!

I have an advice for all businesses who advertise on Groupon — don’t do it at all if you deliver misleading mediocre service because this is what people will review your business for. I bought $ 99 on Groupon that advertised $ 250 hydrafacial treatment — only after was charged for «extras» $ 50 dol each to bring its total to $ 250 –this is EXACTLY how much hydrafacial cost if I just walked in. Hydrafacial treatments AE SUPPOSED TO INCLUIDE serum, moisturizer and LED light. Without these important steps this treatment CANNOT to be called hydraficial. I was treated as Groupon walk in, ripped off and they called me to schedule my next appointment! It’s a shame because hydrafacials are amazing and my skin looked good after — but for $ 250 I could have gone to a luxury spa on 57^th street and get the same result.

I recently purchased a HydraFacial for my wife from Groupon for $ 99 with a supposed $ 250 value which represents a full service HydraFacial MD treatment (including glycolic acid, moisturizer, LEDs, etc). However, when my wife went for her treatment, she was told the glycolic acid and moisturizer weren’t included in the $ 99 Groupon price and that each additional component was an extra $ 50. When following up on this with Just Melt, I was told that the full service HydraFacial was $ 250 but this wasn’t what the Groupon was for even though it says it’s a $ 250 value. I was told it was for the scaled down version (everyday price $ 99) not the $ 250 version one. Long story short this is a bait and switch that Just Melt tried to rationalize even after they were caught red handed. They tried to blame Groupon but Groupon doesn’t set the values, Just Melt does. They’re selling a $ 99 service for $ 99 and representing it as the $ 250 service.
That being said my wife still didn’t get the full treatment she had paid for but after much arguing over the phone, Just Melt agreed to credit our «account» $ 50 for the fraudulent up-​charge — I insisted it be credit back to the card not some internal account and will follow up to make sure the credit is issued; however, let this be a warning to anyone else who has purchased this «deal».

I got coolsculpting 7 days ago and now im in the emergency room. The pain is unbearable. I was told i could take ibuprofen for the pain and come to find out ibuprofen increases the bleeding which is making the bruising and swelling worst! !! I don’t recommend coolsculpting at all! Money down the drain.

Came here after finding them from a quick google search. They offered the services I was looking for and It’s convenient to my office. Win win. (I like to break up my work day with something «good» for me!)
My first treatment was the Hydrafacial MD. Normally I shy away from facials because, quite frankly, I hate them. But I was having some bad breakouts and I’ve heard great things about this machine. WOWWWWW. My skin was GLOWING literally right after the treatment. It was amazing. The woman Arakysa (I believe that was her name) that did my treatment was knowledgable and walked me through every step.
They offer Zerona here and I wanted to get it done again. I had it done 2 years ago and lost 6 inches in 6 sessions so I was excited to see my results. When I stopped by (remember– close to my office) to make the appointment, Melinda told me about a new machine Coolsculpting. HOLY CROW. I had Coolsculpting done instead and the results are even more amazing. It’s like the Zerona is a Kia and Coolsculpting is a Mercedes. No comparison. Coolsculpting is better for targeting specific areas unlike Zerona.
Anyway, I’m starting to ramble as always. I love this place. Everyone I’ve come in contact with is super friendly and great. It’s relaxing. I always feel like they know what they are doing. It’s great. Plus, who wouldn’t love a place that offers you a glass of wine when you walk in?!

I’ve recently moved to NY and was very curious about HydraFacial. After researching on line, I decided to check the place out for a free consultation even though Unilocal had bad reviews.
I found the consultation to be very informative and down to earth. The staff is very professional, no pushing for sign ups, and open about how they themselves used the different treatments. The office had patients going in and out, yet the décor, setup and atmosphere kept the feeling of calmness.
Spending my working hours on the computer, I also enjoy having access to my appointments and ability to cancel on-​line.
It’s been 2 months since I’ve tarted using the services at the salon and I could not have been happier. My before and after pictures show clear results and at the end of a long day at work, I look forward to my 1 hr treatment, relaxing to sounds of crashing waves.

Went in for a lipomas sage as I was a little skeptical at first. The service continues to be attentive as I really like my results. Will continue to recommend them to family and friends.

I really have nothing but good things to say about Just Melt medspa. Very happy with my skin rejuvenation treatments I received from their staff. The clinic is beautiful, clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Will be recommending them to my family and friends. Thanks!

The environment is pleasant and so is everyone there unless you are discussing price. There is no set price for anything. Different people are charged differently and there is no history as to the price they originally promised you. I did the HCG diet and never saw the Doctor. I visited the place 4 times for weight loss and they refused to fill out my insurance form (even though weight loss visits are covered under my insurance). It is a «medical spa» so all they need was the doctor’s stamp at the bottom of my form, but they still would not sign off on my medical claim.

I never write bad reviews about places and am generally an easy going person. I did the zerona treattments here and they didn’t even bother to measure me or take photos at my first session and every time I came in for treatments there was a drama going on with a personal call at the desk, the computers were down, I had to yell for help when the zerona machine turned off and needed to be re-​started. Everyone called me «honey» or «darling», which is ultimately such a belittling way to speak to people. I just got the sense that no one really cared. Btw this is a dentist’s office also masquerading as Just Melt. When I raised all of my concerns I was told that I could purchase a whole new package at the same discounted rate I paid through lifebooker. Did I get the discount service then? Maybe, but there are a few too many service and personnel kinks here for my liking. As for the zerona: well, I wasn’t measured at all or had photos taken but I’m not noticing much of a difference. I wore a compression garment for 2 roasting weeks, took all the suggested supplements, drank the water, ate really well and worked out. not to mention sweated constantly while running around the city in that compression garment.
If you choose to do zerona (which I think you should really study before you do so) I would suggest goingb to one of the other locations now offering specials through lifebooker, etc…

I wanted to write a review so that if others come across it, it’ll help them make a decision as to whether or not dealing with this place is worth it. I’ve been 2 times, both for hydrafacial (which is an amazing treatment). Both times the front desk, although pleasant, doesn’t really seem to know what they’re doing. The second time I went I had a special price on the procedure because I’m on the mailing list and they were running a special on hydrafacials. Now, if you’re running a special on a procedure, shouldn’t you know the price? I was asked what price I was quoted and then was treated sort of as if I were trying to get away with something. Many spas run specials, which simply means that for however long the special runs that is the price on that procedure, no matter who books it. Front desk should know that. Also, staff — you should not be fighting or arguing with clients. Nor should you disappear to have a little 15 minute engagement party when there are clients waiting. Yes, these things happened while I was there.
Now, hydrafacial is a great procedure but it’s not complicated nor is it like a regular facial. It’s basically a fancy microdermabrasion. It takes maybe 15 – 20 minutes, tops. It doesn’t require knowledge that makes a good facialist, like massage or lymphatic drainage technique. So, it’s pretty much impossible to screw up. Not to mention that this is a medspa, which has different licensing rules than a regular spa.
Well, I have no issue with the actual treatment (thus, 3 stars). However, I was given a tip envelope by the technician before I even left the room after the procedure, the second time I was there, and basically was solicited for a tip. I had not brought cash because one doesn’t tip at a medspa. In fact, it is illegal to tip if it’s registered as a doctor’s office, and this is a doctor’s office. I mentioned the lack of cash when I was out front, and the technician (who was chatting with the receptionist) said, «I didn’t ask you for a tip.» Well, yes, you did, when you handed me a tip envelope and told me «This is for you, you can leave it out front.» I don’t know whether or not the technician had been warned about asking for tips and so wanted to deny it in front of the receptionist or not, but the whole thing was shady. And I reitterate — it is illegal for a doctor’s office to accept tips (and unethical to basically demand one).
So, that’s my experience. Hydrafacial is the only procedure I’ve had here, and they do have good specials on it from time to time, just be prepared to put up with some nonsense from the staff.

Want to lose weight? Then start exercising and go on a healthy diet! Learn what a healthy diet is first of all. I went to the spa for Zerona treatment because I just wanted to lose a little bit of fat on my problem areas. I workout but I just got a little lazy and wanted an easy and fast way. I don’t know if I lost any inches from the Zerona treatment because the staff member took my measurments before the treatment but never bothered to take any measurements after the treatment. When I went to the spa for the first time I just wanted to do the Zerona, but they persuaded me to do the HCG injections as well. I didn’t really want to but they insisted on how great I will look and how much weight I will lose (btw I’m not overweight and I don’t have problems with my weight). I lead a healthy lifestyle and I don’t like to do any so called «diets» because I usually never stick to it and HCG diet is very strict. that why you lose weight on it! I paid for the HCG diet, they all so gave a list of supplements to take before zerona, but no one explained what happens when you take niacin or what niacin flush is, so when I started taking the supplements I thought I had an allergic reaction because no one gave me proper instructions. I started doing the HCG diet but never completed it. After two weeks when I was suppose to get my refill of HCG injections I didn’t go for my appointment and no one called me since then, afterall they already got my money. So all I gained from this experience is just a smaller wallet, lost hundred of dollars. I wanted to back-​out after I paid for HCG and even before starting it but they didn’t give me that option, I didn’t fight for my money. it’s my fault, learned my lesson the hard way.
