History

Established in 2011.

Tragedy struck in January 2011 when I found out that my best friend Felicia passed away. Devastated and torn apart, I searched for a way to honor her life, and that’s when I remembered the photo booth and our last photo together. I framed that precious photo and proudly hung it up in my living room.

In that moment, there was no doubt I needed to start my own photo booth company, for Felicia, for myself, and for everyone out there that understands how short life really is and seeks to appreciate every moment.

While images of our loved ones are forever present within us, a photograph can capture a specific smile or expression, frozen in time that elicits a special memory.

That’s why Royal Photo Booth was created. Step into the booth, and make some priceless memories with your favorite people, as if no time has passed.

Event entertainment expert Laura, specializes in making any occasion– from corporate events and outings to weddings and bat/​bar mitzvahs – fun and unforgettable. Since founding Royal Photo Booth (www​.MyRoy​alPho​to​Booth​.com), Laura has made it her mission to ensure that events are not just memorable for guests but also easy to plan for the event organizers by providing a 3-​in-​1 party pack — Entertainment, Photography, and Party Favors.

As the founder of Royal Photo Booth, Laura offers a level of personal service that sets the company apart from other photo booth companies. Laura is passionate about what she does and her desire to see others succeed makes her a sought after expert in the Wedding and Events Industry. She has been featured on numerous blogs and media outlets, and currently sits on the Femfessionals New York City Board of Advisors as their Photography Chair.

Laura was awesome, Royal Photo Booth was there on time and brought so many nice winter/​holiday photobooth props for our company holiday party. She was so super sweet and professional, it was such a hit at our office party, everyone loved it and the access to the online gallery was awesome for everyone afterwards to circulate around the office, we’d definitely have her come back again for a future party!

I used Royal Photo Booth’s services for my friends 35th birthday bash. It truly made the party FUN, interactive and unique! All our guests walked away with a photo strip print out as a token and gift to remember the event. When our party started out slow while waiting for people to show up, the royal photo booth RESCUED our event from boredom!
The green screen technology and costume props really stood out to me when looking for something different to do for our party. The company founder, Laura is a sweet heart, very professional and understanding! She will work with you and her communication is great!

Royal Photo Booth was at the Hornblower event this year and it was so much fun! Laura was always super professional. I offered to get her a drink because she was so immersed into the booth that she couldn’t be bothered with it. The props were amazing. She had nice boat themed props mixed with the traditional ones. The booth was a hit on the Infinity. The line was always long even after we docked but it moved quickly.

We used Royal Photo Booth for our Thanksgiving party, and they were a great addition — all the adults AND kids in attendance really loved it. They brought lots of fun props, were efficient, and best of all, they are affordable! They also gave us a USB drive at the end of our event so we have all of the photos digitally. I would highly recommend using these guys!

I met Laura while working in the wedding and event industry! As an Event Designer & Coordinator here in NYC I consider her a trusted vendor/​photo booth service. Photo booths are awesome, this provider is reliable and gives you exactly what you are expecting. The booth itself is not fancy looking from the outside (something to consider for your wedding/​party) but does not look bad and the pictures are awesome. There are other places that provide fancy looking booths but they are much more expensive.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied. Ask for Laura, she rocks!

OMG Royal Photo Booth was a HUGE HIT at my party! My friends couldn’t stop taking pictures! All you could hear was laughter coming from inside the booth, which BTW fits like 15 people! I wanted to make a unique statement that set my party apart from others. So I rented a Photo Booth from Royal Photo Booth and could not have been happier doing so.
They were affordable, high quality and provided outstanding service. I also opted for the Scrapbook Option which is SO worth it. My guests had so much fun taking lots of pictures leaving one copy behind for my album and writing me a personal message and the other was taken home as a party favor. Each photo strip had a customized logo I designed for the party.
I was definitely impressed and hands down recommend renting a photo booth from Royal Photo Booth!

My experience working with Laura and Shawn from Royal Photo Booth was outstanding. They arrived on time and prepared all equipment in a timely manner. They were very energetic and patient throughout the entire event.
From this photo booth experience, we received outstanding pictures, and a memorable night that will never be forgotten. When my fiancé and I first started planning our wedding, I was extremely nervous. It seemed ridiculous for us to plan while still trying to stay within a tight budget during these hard financial times. As soon as I began my consultation with Ms. Laura, I knew that I wanted to work with her on my upcoming wedding. Not only was she understanding of our situation, she also helped us to find other vendors that we could afford. After a few consultations with other photo booth companies, just to have different options, we decided that Royal Photo Booth had the lowest, most reasonable prices in the New York area. All of the kids and adults had a ball taking group and individual pictures, and the photos were professional and fun!
