I came to Eddie with a very specific problem. I used to wrestle in school and always had very bad tendonitis for years in my forearms (specifically, my right arm). After college, the problem went away, though I always carried a certain sensitivity with me. In recent months, I began having a lot of pain again, which coincided with an increase in training. I was getting Thai massages at the time, which were fantastic, but which couldn’t help with this particular issue. It didn’t take long for Eddie’s methodical work on my body (about six massages spread over a month) to resolve the issue. I can’t thank him enough for his work.

I am able to write this review due to the kind and professional treatment I received from Jennifer Taveras and Eddie Mui last winter. I had a dreadful case of Shingles that morphed into post shingles neuralgia. I was also suffering from torn knee meniscus from a fall at the time. You could say I was in very sorry condition. I had known Jennifer before and had followed her to Triangle. Her acupuncture facial rejuvenation treatment is unparalleled!
I was alone and literally sent two angels. Jennifer came to me in a blizzard and kept my spirits going with her caring acupuncture treatments. She introduced me to Eddie whose expertise in massage have helped my knees greatly and I am now walking around town.
If it is important for you to be with evolved spirits then go to Triangle Wellness. Jennifer has also recently published a book on Holistic Baby Acupressure System. I have given three to brand new parents. They have all been happy with this excellent book.

I got out of work early in desperate need of a massage after a week full of travel and work. They were able to squeeze me in for a foot reflexology session and 30 min massage. The reflexology was great, however, the toes weren’t as achy as the back so I have to say the back massage was the best only because I was the most sore there. My back was total putty afterwards. If I had more time I would’ve stayed 3 hours! Between the time I walked in to when I left almost 2 hours later the place had filled up with mostly 20 – 30 something year old girls. Did all of us gals have a tough week or what?! Great place, close to Penn and most trains. Totally recommend it.

Que me toquen el pié, un chino que no me ha visto en la vida y con el que apenas he cruzado tres frases, y me diga «A ti lo que te pasa es que tienes problemas de estómago» siendo verdad pero siendo imposible que lo sepa, pues alucino. Así fué, queridos, mi aventura en este sitio al que llegué con una «reventaera» de pies considerable después de patearme Nueva York de arriba abajo y de abajo arriba (bueno, es un poco exageración porque es imposible patearselo todo) pero sí que me hacía mis buenos 25−30km diarios caminando… claro, al 4 día estaba reventaíto. Con los pies como morcillas busco en Unilocal un reflexólogo pensando yo que esto iría de un buen masaje de pies… que. equivocado. estaba.
Según llego el reflexólogo preparó un copa gigante con te verde donde meter mis piececillos tatuados y empezó a tocarme el talón, justo donde más me dolía y ahí fue cuando el tipo va y me dice que en verdad lo que me pasaba era lo del dolor de estómago. Mi compañero, que estaba sentado en el sofá inmenso de al lado se giró con los ojos como platos mirandome a mi que como platos tenía yo los oídos flipando. ¿Será que hay más medicinas que la farmacológica occidental?
¿Será que nunca lo había pensado hasta este día?
5 estrellas, porque salí flotando y con los pies descansados. Y 5 estrellas porque me abrió las puertas a nuevos interrogantes y con las molestias de estómago remitiendo.

I had 45 minute foot reflexology appointment with Eddie. He was so welcoming made sure I was comfortable before he started (offered water etc.). He explained exactly what he was doing and he was able to answer all of my questions about my foot pain. Like other reviewers mentioned below, Eddie is great at giving you tips and advice about your health.
Also, the staff here are licensed practitioners which is also a plus!
Seriously, these people know their stuff! In all, I would recommend and I will be returning again.

Alright, I usually don’t do this whole Unilocal review thing. But my brother, Jeff K. Who reviewed on this place earlier recommend it to me, because he said that when he finished with Audrey, he was walking out like he was on cloud 9. I just got finished with my first refloxology session with Eddy. My god… I have new feet… Like, the old ones were taken off, and new better enhanced ones were put on. This coming from someone who has an on going bone spur on my heel that always bothers me. After that magical session, wow. listen to the reviews. They. Are. Spot. On.
Seriously though, crazyness.
Had to make an edit. I was eating at Bonchon next door, using one hand to write a review and another to chow down on a spicy drumstick.

It is a small but amazing place. Feel so calm and relaxed already for the moment you walk in. They got so pair of many magic hands there.

Went with Master Pan for a foot massage and had a good experience overall. One thing to note is that they seem understaffed, so when they have back to back appointments with only one person working, customers will end up waiting and unattended to. Main disappointment was that although they accept credit cards, I was told that there is an extra $ 5 charge. Prior to my appointment, I double checked the appointment confirmation I received via email SPECIFICALLY checking for notes about «cash only», etc. and found nothing, so didn’t make an extra stop at the ATM before my appointment. When communicating with them about dropping the extra charge, they didn’t seem sensitive to it. I would go back for the quality of the massage but am a little upset and hope Triangle Wellness can work with me to adjust this situation.

Just had a 90 minute massage with Audrey. Pretty much rocked my world. She has tons of experience and has worked on movie stars and professional athletes. Don’t let her kind face fool you, she has the hands of a mountain climber. She will find your spots.

um! I am AMAZED!!!
I did some research on Unilocal before booking b/​c I was in need of a massage, but wanted something that focused more on my my energy levels and overall body healing. I have done Chinese Acupuncture before also, and was very pleased with the results (not at this facility), so I booked an appointment (online — so convenient!).
I am pretty convinced Eddie is a psychic and I wouldn’t ever even entertain my funds or energy with a psychic! I booked a 45 minutes foot reflexology session. He was very upfront when I asked about frequency of sessions, and even made it clear to wait to see how I feel before booking the next session to see if it was something that really may work for me.
Throughout the session, Eddie told me a few things that were totally true! I had not told him a PEEP! He gave me advice on bettering my health and keeping my energy moving.
Now, it is about 8 hours post-​massage and I have BURSTS of energy! Again, I am amazed b/​c I am normally one of low energy and high fatigue. I can definitely feel some of the effects of the pressure points worked and am continuing to monitor the next several days of results.
Can’t wait to schedule my next session!

Just the massage I was looking for. This isn’t just a deep tissue or run of the mill reflexology session. The healing is very intuitive. Eddie works with your energy in understanding any health issues you may be experiencing and gives you tools to help yourself after you leave. Worth every dollar.

i’m glad i found this gem of a place on Unilocal as I never would have stumbled upon them myself. it was a breeze to book an appointment through their online booking system and i found a same day appt right after work.
i had my first reflexology session with Eddie and i’m definitely going to do it again. i have had massages in spas throughout the city, but this was my first reflexology session. Eddie was extremely knowledgeable and yet so humble and gosh, he truly has magic hands. i felt immediately relaxed the moment he started working on my feet, and never felt more rejuvenated afterwards.
i look forward to trying out the other massages they have too and am definitely booking my next appointment soon.

Eddie is AMAZING! I swear he is psychic. Since I rely on Unilocal for any and everything I found Triangle Wellness on this site and decided to make appointments for my sis and myself for our NYC trip. Eddie followed up the day before to confirm our appointments which I really liked. I was so happy I made these appointments because my feet were k-​i-​l-​l-​i-​n-​g me so bad that I needed some relief. Luckily, Triangle Wellness was super close to our hotel so we just walked about ten minutes and there it was — well not that easy! At first we got confused and couldn’t figure out where the business was until we realized it was upstairs, but then couldn’t understand how to buzz our way up. Thankfully, another lady was coming out so we were able to come up.
Eddie worked on my sister, while I had Tina (unfortunately she doesn’t really speak English so she didn’t really give me much feedback). I will say that the massage was so relaxing, it almost put me to sleep. If I could have, I would have just stayed there for hours napping. Eddie was pretty much able to accurately decipher my the cause of my sisters migraines and give her a complete run down of her health, it was astonishing as if he was psychic. Sis and I kept turning and looking at one another thinking «OMG how did he know??». Eddie was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of really great types about ways to minimize neck/​back pain as well as showing us some of the charts he has on the wall to explain things we asked about. The price has $ 60 for 45 minutes, but for me it was $ 80 since I also got a 15 minute hand massage as well. BTW the pain I had in between my index finger and thumb is gone!
GO TO TRIANGLE WELLNESS IF YOU ARE IN MANHATTAN because you will not regret it!

Eddie was amazingly respectful and skillful! His reflexology massage was so beneficial that I went in for a full body massage the next day. This was one of the best full body massages I’ve ever had; Eddie’s knowledge about the body and nervous system meant that he knew to target the part of the body causing my problems instead of simply working on the direct area of the problem, and this fixed it better than any other massage I’ve had. He even went over the science behind my problem with me afterward. Very helpful and very nice overall!

I have been feeling all out of whack for the past week because it just hurt when I walked (not good for someone living and working on Manhattan). I looked up foot reflexologists in the area and the Unilocal reviews for Triangle Wellness were promising. I was especially pleased to find that they have an online booking system.
I felt incredibly relaxed the entire time. The chair was comfortable, the music was at the right volume and Eddie was very professional. The results of the session were immediate for me– as soon as I stood up, I realized there was no more strain in my feet, my hips didn’t feel misaligned and I felt like a new person.
Highly recommended.

First let me start by saying I do not wrote reviews but this one was worth writing. WOW!
At first I was pretty sad because there was no available appointments after I called which was bad for me since my feet were in so much pain from being on my feet all day. Eddie told me he’d call me if someone cancelled and to my surprise he called.
I agreed to go in and when I did it was nice and cozy with relaxing music. And while doing my reflexology he was on point. He knew everything that was wrong with me I was mind boggled. After I left my feet felt much better. He helped a lot even though I am in pain from hours and days of being on my feet about 12 hours a day! While getting my massage he made small talk which made me feel better because it shows that unlike other places he enjoys what he’s doing. It works for me
He recommend me to go back for the medicine massage depending on how I felt. I will definitely be going back!

I went for my first massage ever (I know, why on earth did I wait so long?) with Eddie.
The facility is clean and comfortable and Eddie is extremely professional and nice and really put me at ease.
I get migraines often caused by tension in my neck, and I was so scared that I would end up getting a massage that leave me in more pain.
On the contrary, Eddie did a great job of making me feel better (my day long headache was gone by the time I left) while taking into consideration my situation.
I had an excellent experience here and will definitely be back.

The place is very clean and comfy, both Eddie and Master Pan were extremely kind and professional.
The massage was excellent-​so relaxing, plus they really know what they are doing.

I bought a Lifebooker Loot for a 60-​minute massage. I called in for a very last-​minute appointment on a Friday night and, to my surprise, they had availability and booked me in right away. I got there within half an hour and was serviced immediately. (I think it’s because this place is relatively new and doesn’t have regular clientele yet.) Because I arrived at around 7:15pm and the front desk girl was leaving, they asked me to pay $ 5 tax before the service (as opposed to after). I didn’t mind. They also asked me to fill out a sheet with my information and any areas of concern I wanted them to focus on. Then I was introduced to Master Pan, an older Chinese man who supposedly had 25 years of Chinese massage experience, who would be doing my massage. He was very polite, like everyone else there, and was delighted when he learned that I could speak Chinese.
I’ve been massaged by a man before, and I have to say, I do like that they have more strength to knead out my knots than women masseuses do. But I’ve never gotten a real Chinese massage before, and boy was it different, but in a really, really good way. I know enough about pressure points to know that that’s what he was going for, and it felt awesome. I could tell he was very experienced; he could tell what kind of job I had and what my extracurricular activities were just by massaging me, and he could immediately point out problem spots that I should correct right away (my neck and left shoulder being too stiff because of a desk job) before they become worse. He spent ample time on my problem spots and did the best he could with my knots, although I know my knots will never go away with just one massage. He also said that I won’t feel sore after getting a Chinese massage, which was true and unlike the Western massage. The only downside is that a regular-​priced 60-​minute massage is $ 110, but if you’re willing to pay the money, Master Pan is certainly worth it.
(The other masseuse, Eddie, was saying that he’s trained in the Western massage style and services some pretty affluent clients, including Mike Tyson. There’s even a picture of them two right at the front desk. It’s worth a check!)
